Today's Blind Items
This former A list reality star and now just a celebrity with some kids has been complaining publicly about paps. What she has not said is how the other day she hid from the paps and would not let them take her photo until she did her makeup, changed clothes and then and only then just "happened" to show up right where the paps were.

ReplyDeleteOk, so Nicole wants it both ways. They still have to stay away from the schools -- not because of her, but because of all the kids.
ReplyDeleteBut she didn't call the paps. They were just there. I don't see how that is the same as someone calling up the paps to get a photo op.

So good...she'll work with the paps that show her respect and won't with the ones who don't. When it comes to the kids, they should be off limits, unless they are with mom or dad. Particularly at school.
ReplyDeleteShe still has a right to complain and not like having her kids assuaged by papstalkers. And apparently, she still has some maturing to do, if being photographed by them without make up is a huge deal.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Garner may dress so not to impress while out running errands or dragging the kids around, but a lot of women can RELATE.

ReplyDeleteYou know what's funny? A couple of weeks ago, Us magazine had Nicole write up their "25 interesting things about you" and she claimed that she doesn't even own any makeup. I laughed, literally, out loud, rolled my eyes, and decided right then that I should take whatever Nicole says with a grain of salt.

More paps oughta get their asses run over, IMO. I'm just as happy reading my goss instead of seeing pix.
Seems like it's Nicole, since she just recently posted that letter or note or whatever, but I've seen plenty of pap shots where she's without make-up or dressed down. So I'm not 100% sold it's her...

ReplyDeleteEven if it's Nicole- it still doesn't mean she's out of line for wanting them to leave her kids alone. She's willing to play the game, but I get it. Kids shouldn't have to deal with that at all.

ReplyDeleteI dont think she was wrong for wanting to look good, the tabloids are vicious and rabid about bad hair days, bad makeup...whatever. It would kind of be hard to be a celeb these days, and still have an off day.
ReplyDeleteI also dont think its that weird that she talks them down, but seeks them out when she looks good. Its just not that weird...I mean, being famous is not what it used to be. BUt she needs the publicity, still she doesnt want to be picked apart and torn to shreds for not looking good enough, "Is she on heroin? Eating disorder...?Is she a drunk? IS she mentally stable?" Headlines like that? Honestly, what if she just didnt go to the salon for a blow out that week, didnt put on full makeup.
If they don't go all out we pick them to pieces, but if they do, they are self obssessed. I know theres a line..it just gets blurry sometimes...
Nicole does have a shoe/clothing/jewellery line, so maybe the "right" thing she needed to be photographed in was something from her line. She tends to always wear something from her one of her lines when she's "randomly" papped to hawk her stuff for free. And she'd want to make sure she looked good (do her make-up and hair) if she wanted to be papped to sell her stuff.
ReplyDeleteWe don't know the whole story about the paps at her kids school. We only know what Nicole wrote in her rant. For all we know, the pap knew Nicole would be there to pick up her kid at such-and-such a time and showed up a few minutes before. Nicole arrives and sees paps and assumes he has been there all day for some reason stalking her kid, when the pap had no interest in, nor was stalking or taking pictures of her kid.
ReplyDeleteI'm not defending the paps at all, I think they are pretty much a bunch of sleazeballs. But I don't for a minute think Nicole wouldn't use the incident to rant about how unfair it is and how being a celebrity is sooo tough just because she was PMS'ing or some shit.
And besides, what on earth is her kid doing at school? The oldest is two!
Exactly! This did NOT happen. I have never seen a pap photo of one of Nicole's kids alone. Nicole herself is barely famous; if this were standard pap behaviour, then wouldn't we see solo pics of the kids of much bigger names? It's asinine to take this twit's word for it that swarms of paps are "stalking" her offspring. The letter was just a stunt to froth up sympathy and to reinforce Nicole's new public image as a devoted maternal figure.

ReplyDeleteI think Kate Gosselin. She's lost her shows and always appears ridiculously overdress and overly "done" in even the most supposedly casual of pap pics. She's always moaning about how fame has ruined her life, all the while grasping for every ounce that she can.
ReplyDeleteLate to the party here but this sounds more like Kate to me. It's funny because there are always articles in the UK Daily Mail about what she's wearing while running errands. I can't believe that anyone still cares.

Nicole Richie is almost always photographed in sunglasses, that's the only reason I'd be surprised if it was her. It does fit. However, Enty seemed to be really supporting her on the whole, letter to X17 about staying away from her kids thing. I'd be surprised if he turned around and wrote a somewhat nasty blind about her the same week.

ReplyDeleteNicole is an easy guess, guys, but I don't think it's her. I really don't think she would have gone so out of her way to publicly shame the paps if this is what's really going on behind the scenes. Kate Gosselin complains about the paps somewhat regularly, or at least when someone is willing to give her some screen time, but in the pictures they snap, she always seems so self-aware, not to mention dressed to the (bargain Macys clearance rack) nines, as well as caked on makeup and with her hurr did. This one is Kate for sure. I hope she wears it like a badge of honor, though, because otherwise it makes her look even more pathetic and entitled than before.
