Amber Portwood Is In Denial

Teen Mom, Amber Portwood, was interviewed for the latest issue of US Weekly. In it she says that Child Protective Services took her daughter away. Amber says it was not because she is abusive or that she is not the greatest mom in the world. Nope, the reason her daughter was sent to live with Gary Shirley is, "Child Protective Services agreed it was safer for her to stay at Gary's because of all the photographers outside my house." Uh huh. Because there are millions of them surrounding the house. If this were the case, then every celebrity who is stalked by the paps would lose their kids.

I really do hope she gets the help she needs because otherwise her daughter is going to be messed up. No child needs to see their mom yelling and beating on their dad because then the cycle just continues.

  1. Of course she can't say the truth in writing. Becuase then Gary would be able to use that against her in court for custody.

But in any event, I wish these two beasts would just throw each other off a mountain and let the kid be raised in a loving adoptive family.

  2. i only tuned in to the show once to see what the fuss was about and it showed these two nagging each other and their baby at a store pulling everything off the shelves while they ignored it and the salespeople were like wtf. they should really give the baby up for adoption before it turns into a troll like them

  3. Lets see... you're so famous that the paps present an endangerment to your child.
Uh huh...you beating on your baby daddy *ON CAMERA* has absolutely nothing to do with it.
    Where I'm from, that's abuse.
And if you're unstable enough to beat on an adult, who *is* capable of defending himself but won't, what's goes on when the cameras aren't there and the only available target for your rage is your innocent child?
I don't know that the child has suffered at your hands, however given the presented evidence, the involvement of CPS is a godsend because only too often, they arrive too damn late.
Take most of that money you're being paid and put it aside for your daughter's therapy.
    She's going to need it.

  4. It is absolutely sickening that these "teen moms" are becoming celebrities and gossip sites are writing about them.

    The end.

  8. Not only does she beat Gary but her home is a disgusting mess - and she doesn't work or go to school - she just lays around all day. On one show she didn't feel like dealing with her daughter who was crying so she thew her in her crib and slammed the door :(

She shouldn't have any kids if that is how she is treating her baby.

  10. Can I sign up to be a foster parent to Maddox and the rest of the Jolie-Pitt clan? If the press attention this girl gets is enough to have CPS take her kid, I'm sure the Pitt kids must need my help!

  11. Does anyone know if Gary returned the $21.47 ring back to Wal-mart? He did ask about the refund policy when he bought it - best clip ever! It even made The Soup!

  13. @Mandy - Wow. Nice parenting.

Someone should make these two the poster children for why not to have sex.

  14. Forgetting Sarah Marshall really was a great movie. I didn't live Get Him to the Greek. I think Diddy ruined the experience for me.

I LOVE Kristen Bell. She seems like a very smart cookie in the interviews I've seen & a really cool girl.
