Dr. Drew Gets His Own Show

Instead of a rerun of Nancy Grace every night on Headline News, Dr. Drew will have his own show in that time slot. I think this is pretty much Dr. Drew's goal in life. He has his very own show which he does not have to share with Adam Corolla or a bunch of rehabbing F listers. Nope, now Dr. Drew gets his very own show on CNN where he can attempt to save the world. I imagine in his world he would hope that a different celebrity gets arrested or goes to rehab everyday because that is what he will want to discuss. He says it will focus on the news events of the day and how they fit in to his expertise of addiction and relationships.

  3. Sure is a slow newsday compared to the Monday after T-Day in '09.

  4. I don't care how many 'credentials' this fool has, he is a fame whore He had the audacity to write a book on the sick celebrity culture.

He could have helped ordinary peeps, like A&E Intervention does, but no he wants scripted drama with sick-ass people.

I guess he worked really hard to get this, since celeb rehab is on its way out the door.

  5. I like Dr. Drew some people think he is a celebrity F'er. But I think his intent is good.

And I like Nancy, even though she can beat a dead horse after awhile.

I think they would make a nice companion shows.

  8. dr. drew is a douchebag. on 'teen mom', he told maci 'ryan loves you very much' and pretty much told her it was her fault they weren't together.

i've never liked this guy but that was the end for me.

  12. What Mooshki said. I think he had good intentions in the beginning, but this show sounds like an excuse just to be on tv.

  17. I was all 'rah rah rah, Dr. Drew' in the beginning...and then I saw a few seasons of Celebrity Rehab and saw his interactions with Kari Ann Peniche.

Dude's a fuckin' leech. Total bloodsucker. When that tech snatched Kari by her nappy ass weave, I clapped and say "Welcome to the real world, sugartits". And his crew is full of shit, too. You know good & well that Shelly Sprague is stoned as motherfucker when she goes in. She is wayyyyy too calm. Cute as hell, but waaaaaaayyyyyyy too calm for someone who works in that industry.

  18. I defy any other gossip website to show they have readers who can paraphrase William Blake while mocking celebrities! Booyah!

  19. I wish Dr. Drew the best. I suspect he'll do quite well. Corolla was on morning radio here for a short spell and I learned to loathe him. I'm glad Dr. Drew finally has his own forum.

  20. I remember 20 years ago living in LA when Dr. Drew was on the radio answering stupid teen sex questions! I liked him better then. I still think he is hot, even if he is a fame whore.

  21. I used to love Loveline. I don't know if it's still on because they took off the radio in my area. One of the many, many downfalls of living in the south - everyone is so damn uptight.

But, I will be watching his show on CNN.

  22. I wish they'd replace him with Jane Velez-Mitchell. She's horrendous. I'd actually be in a room strapped down with 5 Nancy Graces any day than having to hear that woman.
