Jeff Goldblum Sings With Biz Markie vs A 15 Story Hotel Completed In 6 Days

Did you know Jeff Goldblum could play the piano? He can and sings too. To show off his skills he sang with Biz Markie on Jimmy Fallon. Great.

A 15 story hotel was completed in 6 days. I have had heartburn that has lasted longer than six days. This is incredible.

  2. There is no way I would step foot in that building. 6 days seems shady as hell.

  4. Never been a huge fan of Jeff Goldblum but I gotta say I LOVE him in L&O: Criminal Intent, and I was afraid I would hate the show sans Donofrio. My only beef: Not enough episodes!

@ Sue Ellen - Absofuckinlutely would I not go into that building! That's some scary shit. Most of the crappily made stuff I buy in Wal-Mart (and just about everywhere else) is Made in China. Why would I assume that this hotel is built to what I would hope to be safe regulations? Allow me to digress: My brother is a rocket scientist/engineer and he told me this: Notice how our rocket and shuttle launch sites are built near water? The Chinese built a launch site inland near a city. And when the rocket (or satellite or whatever) EXPLODED, it did so over a city teeming with people. The government's response? FIND THOSE ROCKET PARTS! Not, rescue our citizens!

  7. the thought of a 15-story structure up in 6 days is disturbing...did they allot for building codes?

  8. @Mango

My boyfriend is a structural engineer and I cannot wait to see the look of horror on his face when I show him this video. Also, I am not surprised by the Chinese wanting those rocket parts back. Everything is so fucking secret.

Pardon the curse, but it works.

  9. Yep, I'm with Sue Ellen and Mango on NOT stepping foot in the building.

HOWEVER, I will say that if a U.S. trained structural engineer tested such a building for U.S. codes and it passed--Wouldn't it be awesome if someone could build 10 of these (not 15 stories, but say 5-6 stories) in Haiti? It doesn't sound like the building's interior (plumbing and electrical) was complete after six days, but they'd have to be put all the pipes and lines through, so it couldn't have taken much longer.

  11. I remember when a multi-million dollar road widening project was complete in my town on schedule. I was very surprised.

There really is no reason why a project like that building couldn't be completed at that speed if all safety regulations/precautions are in place, and people are working 'round the clock. I'm quite sure that projects are draagggged out for the purpose of padding the pocket.

  12. I never liked Jeff G. before L&O Criminal Intent either. And then yesterday he stopped by the Today Show and he was darned funny and cute. I'm really liking him now - especially with this new video.

  15. Not an original thought, but Jeff Goldblum is and has always been stunningly sexy, intelligent and interesting. I remember being confused and floored by how I attractive I found him when I as a teenager. He could still get it!
