Random Photos Part Three

Yeah, the woman from Project Runway who should not have won but did which has caused me to not watch the finale episode because someone who told me who won but in the back of my mind I say if I watch it perhaps the outcome will be different. You know, like in Click.
Who is the owner of these very large fake breasts?
Halle Berry.
The 50th anniversary of the Walk of Fame is bringing out a bunch of people from the past. Barbara Eden.
Nancy Sinatra.
Shirley Jones & Pat Boone.
Nichelle Nichols. She can still do the fingers!!
Terry Moore & Jane Russell.
Not really old Hollywood, although Juliette Lewis has been around for a long time. Here she is with Kate Mara.
Jerry Seinfeld and Jon Stewart fighting to see who can look less like a comedian.
Johnny Weir has some kind of growth around his neck. Might want to get that looked at. Kind of seems to be doing the whole Dana Carvey church lady thing.
Apparently there are people in this world who could not wait to see the Dash store opening. Police were called and arrests were made and none of the arrests were for making really bad television.

  1. Dear Johnny,

Legendary columnist Cindy Adams wants her "Saturday at the salon getting her hair washed and set" outfit back.

  2. God bless the old Hollywood crowd, they all look pretty great considering they have been around since forever!

  4. Actual Johnny quotes (of many on the same topic in the same vein):

“I’m an easy person to pick on because I’m very open I like fur and I like things that come from dead animals."

"I love animals to an extent, but how many starving people are there? Help people that need to be helped."

Cause you can't do both? Um, ok. He is an incredibly selfish person. Fake fur. Look into it.

  5. re: Project Runway

Was it not really weird that ALL the judges praised Mondo week after week and then Nina and Kors turned on him in the finale? Someone please explain that. I'm not one of the Gretchen haters, but still, i don't understand why she won.

  6. re: The Kardashians.

The little one looks like an alien, the big looks like a trannie, and Kim just looks like a hooker. So I guess she wins.

  7. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I'm out of town and Project Runway finale was waiting for me on my DVR and thanks SO MUCH for spoiling it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(

  8. I was shocked and disappointed when they announced Gretchen as the winner.
I found nothing exciting or attractive about her line. Even the fabrics bored me.
No way NO WAY should she have won over Mondo or Andy. No way.

  9. nunaurbiz, I was spoiled before I watched it, and I thank god. If I'd found out she won after sitting through the whole two hour show, I would have smashed my tv. The worst part is, she said that she was misunderstood, and she's not a bitch, she's just a strong woman. Total bs - she's weak and has horrible self esteem; she just likes to complain about how awful her life is, and how awesome she is to have survived it.

  10. Whoever did Halle's prosthetics, they did a great job of making her look like one of the many plastic surgery disasters.

  11. PR fan here---yes, Mondo was ROBBED.
Hopefully he can get a lil' 1/2 hour show next year---god knows Lifetime needs original programming.

Mondo was a real, REAL, sweetheart and amazing talent!
He blew me away every week! Nina & Michael were mad b/c he went with the bubble dress in his show even though they had told him last week they didn't like it. I seriously think they were being bitches and trying to not be predictable, b/c Mondo has been a heavy, heavy favorite since about episode 6. I think they were trying to put Mondo 'in his place', and I definitely think Michael Cors is jealous of Mondo's raw talent. Cors is great, Cors is rich, but he's getting old and he NEVER had such talent with youth and color and pattern. I have watched the show since season 1, and this season was full of "We'll show them" moments from the judges---like naming Michael C winner every time he was bullied, etc.

I'm an ol' thrift-store shopper, and I could make up Gretchen's entire collection from 80's castoffs from the Goodwill. Terrible, and NOT NEW. So funny she made fun of Michael C in an early episode for merely 'copying old classics.'

Mondo is a great person and great talent. If I could make a hat for him, it would have an arrow pointing out and say "Watch This Space." Go MONDO!!!

  12. BTW, The reason Cors LOVED Christian Siriano and didn't punish him for his raw talent the way he punished Mondo---Christian knew how to bat his eyes and flirt with ol' MC.
Cors so OBVIOUSLY had a crush on Christian when he was on the show.
I liked Christian, and understand that being adorable is a skill he has used & cultivated and I don't blame him at all for it.
But I think Mondo is too straight-up for that, and he seems like the type who is naive enough to think 'professionals' like MC & NG would judge on the fashion alone.
    But Mondo will go far.

Can you tell I'm obsessed w/ PR for 8 seasons?

  13. I too was disappointed with PR. Like, very.

Why does Nancy Sinatra look so short?

  14. Ugg, I hadn't seen the PR finale. We had to disconnect our TV last week because we got carpet in. I was going to watch it on the web. Now that I know Gretchen won, I'm not sure I want to watch. I loved Mondo before the judges did. I would have been ok with an Andy win, but not that bitch Gretchen.

  15. The finale of Project Runway made me so stinkin' angry. I HATE Gretchen. Or Wretchen as we called her in my house. All she did in every interview was talk poorly about others, belittle people, and talk about how hard her life was and how little money she and her family had.

Then when the moms showed up and hers came in like 2 minutes later and she was sobbing because "I thought you weren't going to be able to make it"

    Give me a break.

UGH. She's a vile human being. (Ivy too)

    MONDO rocks my socks.

  16. Count me as another one who couldn't watch the last episode of Project Runway.

Lots of great pics! Nice to see Jane Russel out and about.

  17. Kvetchin' Gretchen. The worst PR winner ever. I have sworn that I will never watch PR again.

I would have been okay with Andy winning, I didn't much like his attitude but then I saw his incredibly humble beginnings (the fish farm that Tim freaked out about, lol).

Wretchin should have been auf'd weeks ago. Even before that vile Poison Ivy.

  18. I agree that Gretchen's final line was hoooorible. Mondo had it in the bag, and I agree that they were trying to be "unpredictable." I also liked Cassanova, and while I found out that I dress like an old lady at my garage sale, when the elderly were fighting over my clothes, I thought that some of his stuff was great when they called it "old people clothes."

    Sigh. It's over now.

  19. oh, yeah, and the fucking jumping at the end of the runway by Gretchen when her line was done made me barf. It was JUST.LIKE.HER: predictable, unimaginative, trying-to-hard. YECH!!!

  20. Nichelle still looks awesome! All of Old Hollywood is MAGNIFICENT! Love to see them. They are truly the last of the glamourous Hollywood, unlike cutters like Angelina.

  21. Wretchen stole it from Mondo. I watched the whole show, even though I knew that Mondo hadn't won (saw it on his FB page), but COULD NOT BELIEVE that Wretchen's hippie-dippie natural-elly clothes won. They look like something I'd wear, because I'm a hippie dippie natural-elly--but not something that anyone who wants to be fashionable would wear. And as my partner said, "So is everyone going to be wearing those hot pants now? I don't want to see some 40 year old woman with hot pants on the bottom and twill on the top."

Anyway, I thought that Heidi had it right. She kept saying, "So we're going to select someone who has a ready-to-wear line?" Even NPR commented on it today--that PR's shunning of Mondo is indicative of our society's desire to sell out true artistic talent for products that are humdrum but commercially viable.

I too am obsessed with PR, as you can probably tell. I wouldn't wear anythign couture, ever, but I love watching the personalities and the raw artistic talent. Mondo has class and a huge following. He's kind, he's been doing shows with Michael C., and he has talent enough to make it with or without PR's help. He'll go far.

Wretchen will stay in Portland and be making macrame plant hangers in no time.

  22. ive never seen people all totally agree with the results of a reality show like they (we) are agreeing about the PR finale. enty said it perfectly.

  25. OMG, someone needs to sit down with Jane Russell and get her talking into a tape recorder.
You wanna know Old Hollywood dirt?
    She's the one who'll tell.
