Shocker!! Russell Crowe Is Volatile
Who would have guessed that Russell Crowe could be volatile? Even his wife thinks so. Danielle Spencer gave an interview to Women's Weekly magazine and says that Russell is not an angry man as the media has portrayed him. Nooooo. He is all innocent and light. "He's quite a volatile person, sure, but he also has a very warm and soft and funny side to him, too. He's multi-faceted, as most people are, but the media doesn't allow for shades of grey."
When your wife says that you are volatile then I am guessing the rest of us would probably say he is way more than that. Hell, after he read this interview who wants to bet that he got a little volatile at Danielle?
Russell is an Aries. I think Danielle is telling the truth.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for volatility at ALL when it comes to dealing with people in my work or personal life. Or tempers. I find that shit distasteful and base. If you can't control your shit, find someone else to deal with you.
ReplyDeleteI think he is a drama queen. Save it for the movies Russell.
ReplyDeletehere is a better link to the article...

Danielle has hung on to him since 1990. She has been in the battles and wasn't going to quit the war until she got a ring on her finger.
ReplyDeleteAustralians are just diffrent then americans. I work with a lot of Austalians and they are loud, rude, obnoxious and crazy. But they are truly some the nicest most loving people I have ever met.
What we take as volitale to Australians is just a bad day to them.
It's a country built on prisoners and the exiled.
He's a douche but a charmer. And I do miss his Gladiator body. He is so pudgy now it's funny.
Too bad he's such an ass, I think he could have been a big, big star. Now, he's just chubby and mean looking.
ReplyDelete@timebob, I have dual citizenship in the US and AUS. I lived there for several years and you are right. Their culture is very different from the US. We were founded by puritans and they were founded by convicts. It makes quite the difference. I wouldn't say they are all rude, but they are boisterous for sure.
ReplyDeleteI find it really interesting when American's have the temerity to call Australian's out for being loud and rude... It's a huge generalisation and if I said that about a race of people I would rightfully be called out for it. I could also quote dozens of stories of a similar experience with American's when I was travelling through Europe for 2 years, but I recognise that the more obnoxious people are always highly visible, because they make themselves so.
ReplyDeleteWho isn't volitile in the right situation?
ReplyDeleteyawn
@sunnyside & Jaded.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to say they are loud & rude in a mean way. It was meant in a loving funny way.
Australians are cool cats no doubt.
{We were founded by puritans and they were founded by convicts.}
ReplyDeleteSo true!!!!!! I do not have anger probs, and I am rarely temperamental.
However, I DON'T trust people who are NEVER angry or who smile ALL the time.
But then you have people who take all of their aggression out on message boards. LOL.
When you're so volatile you're throwing cell phones at people, there's a problem. Not everyone gets that "volatile".
ReplyDeleteI think he is more passionate, than volatile, but he does have a temper, and most people do. I don't, so I don't understand that. It scares people. I don't scare people, I 'friend' people.
ReplyDeleteLove the Aussie culture though. They are boisterous, and pride themselves on not being English.
thanks timebob - perhaps I am a little defensive ;)
ReplyDeletejust for the record though - Russell Crowe is actually a Kiwi... we (Aussies) stopped claiming him when he started to get all "volatile"
What's weird is that Meg Ryan went from being the adorable sweetheart to surly freakoid immediately after dating him. I'm guessing she was always secretly that way but boy did he give her permission to let it fly. (And look at that turned out for her.)
ReplyDeleteI understand his type- he's a man from a frontier area, simple as that. Where i grew up, bar brawls and the like behavior were not uncommon. It's a very pragmatic suck it up and deal with it attitude- if you grew up that way hollywood bs would be hard to take. However no excuse for the fit about the phone!
ReplyDeleteso if you grow up in a country with a convict background you are volatile and if you grow up in a country with a puritan background you are ignorant?
ReplyDeleteIt's Russell's volatility, along with that warm,soft, & funny side, that make him such a great actor and a wonderful person.
