The sexiest man alive is now a single man again. After about two years of marriage, Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds have called it quits. I am kind of shocked it lasted this long. With two huge egos like theirs I am surprised rooms did not explode when they entered. No room is too large for those egos.
Apparently the split is amicable. Considering they rarely saw each other, it probably took them a year to realize they were not even seeing each other.
"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated." Well, at least they are not kidding themselves about the privacy thing although they were never really big pap magnets anyway. Somewhere out there Alanis is having a nice laugh.

ReplyDeleteDo they fit any recent blinds? I could swear Enty or someone just had a blind about a month or so ago about a couple that would be publically splitting up soon. Most popular guess at the time was Xtina and her husband. Don't remember the exact blind.

I just want to thank Hollywood couples for supporting the economy through their marriages and subsequent divorces. Some might say that no one in Hollywood should be allowed to marry, but when you think about how many people/companies benefit financially from their marriages & divorces, I don't think our economy could take that kind of hit if we take that away.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like many in Hollywood decided it would be easier to break it off with their significant other than to try & buy a gift for someone they no longer can stand. Good for them.
I'm a little surprised. I thought they would have a better chance at making it considering they went out of their way to keep their relationship private and never being seen together....but then again, that may have been the problem since they're citing the "we never saw each other" excuse as being the problem.

From the beginning we all knew this was a stunt marriage to mask RR's gayness and Scar Jo's lesbianism not surprised at all that it would end just surprised that it did so soon.

I read an article documenting a fight they'd had in public. Apparently, her nickname for him is Ry Ry. Scarlett J or no, that would be my final straw.
