  2. I entered an Oscar pool this year (Lainey's) for the first time and am proud to say that other than the short films, makeup, documentary short, actress (I wanted so badly for Bening to win) and supporting actress (big mistake on my part, I thought Leo's self-promoting ads would hurt her - but she deserved to win), I got the rest right! 18 /24 ain't bad!

  3. Highly pissed off that "Exit Through The Gift Shop" didn't win.

I'll be pouting for the rest of the day.

  4. Pissed that I watched the show instead of just reading the list online instead. Worst Oscars ever.

Side note - never understood why people hated Anne Hathaway before. I thought she was self-depricating and a little goofy. Boy was I wrong. People are talking about how boring James Franco was, but watching her was like nails on chalkboard.

  5. Thank Ye Gods that The Social Network didn't win! I thought it was massively overrated.

I was honestly rooting for Black Swan, though I knew it didn't have that strong a chance.

  6. Loved Social Network...wish Armie Hammer had been nominated.

  7. Agree sunnyside - I knew it wouldn't win, but I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the Social Network more than any other nominated film this year.

  9. I was pretty happy with all the winners. Was glad to see The King's Speech rack up. I didn't realize Annette had been nominated 4 times and never won so I almost wished she'd won but Natalie was amazing so...

The speeches were pretty boring. My favorites were Tom Hooper and the dude who won & said he'd wished he'd gotten a haircut.
