Gabriel Aubru Hates When People Call Nahla Black

Today was TMZ's turn in the war between Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry. That of course means today is the day Gabriel gets to look bad. On Monday, Radar will probably take their turn and make Halle look bad. TMZ says that Gabriel goes absolutely nuts whenever anyone calls Nahla black. The report goes on to say that whenever Gabriel reads a report saying that Nahla is black he always wants Halle to do something about it and get a retraction and have the article refer to Nahla as white. Who cares if she is black or white or mixed? She is a gorgeous kid who should just be loved regardless of what color she is. If she is called black, who cares? Just love your child and move on.

  1. I just don't buy this stuff about him. If he was that racist would he really have been in a relationship and procreated with Halle, who is half black? Seems like a stretch.

  2. Calling BS on this. What are these celebrity racial offspring reports? When have you ever heard, Nahla, the Black child of Halle and Gabriel? Why would this suddenly be a problem? Sounds like Halle starting something.

  3. I call bullshit too. There is no way that there is even an ounce of truth to this.

I hope everyone sees right through Halle's crazyness.

This is not fair to Gabriel. I feel really bad for the guy.

  4. She is doing a wonderful job of making sure his modeling career goes down the toilet becuase who is going to hire a "racist" for an ad campaign. So now he won't be able to afford lawyers.

But I mean really, he is a racist but he had a child with a woman of mixed race. I mean if your gonna throw shit against the wall to see what sticks have some logic about it. This guy is going to have a very tough road against him.

  5. The only adjectives I've ever seen used to describe that child are "gorgeous, beautiful, precious... " etc, etc. Color? Never once. I've never even seen her referred to as 1/4 black - and it never would have entered my mind until this stuff hit the fan.

Someone is really stretching here... and that is SAD.

  6. And you believe this report, why? Enough already.

  7. I'm sooooo over this nonsense. To think all this came out of Gab trying to get back at Halle by dating Kim Kardashian. SMH.

  8. I have not once seen Nahla referred to as black...this is BULLSHIT...she's a probably the most beautiful of all the celebrity kids...

  9. Exactly, Sue.
When has anyone seen the child (or any child, anymore) referred to as the "black child" or even the "mixed-race child" or "mixed-race daughter"? If Nahla's mentioned anywhere, it's as "Halle Berry's daughter".

It's becoming clearer and clearer--Halle's delusional.

  10. I don't believe a word of it and Halle would serve her daughter a world of good by keeping her damn mouth shut. No one, including daddy, has ever said anything other than that child is gorgeous.

  11. Halle's peps need to STFU and let the courts work this out. This is getting beyond annoying.

  12. I'm still team "neither" until there's hard evidence of ANYTHING, but I do know that Gabriel is from Montreal, Canada, which is a pretty diverse city, culturally-speaking. The racism thing would surprise me.

  13. What a great game of He Said, She Said.

  14. I don't think this accusation is logical in the least. Makes my brain hurt.

  15. I can't buy this because I have never seen the child referred to as black in any publication, TV show, or on any blog.

And I can not imagine a circumstance where that wouldn't get a media outlet in trouble if they were to.

  16. sunny - I think it's more a case of she said, she said. I have yet to really hear him say an unkind word about her, just the situation as a whole. I could be wrong though.

  17. I don't know what to believe when it comes to the sh!t these 2 sling at each other, but I must say this. To those of you scoffing that Gabriel can't be a racist because he was in a relationship with Halle in the first place, racism is not nearly that black and white (pardon the pun). After all, Strom Thurmond, segregationist extraordinaire, fathered a Black child. Racism itself is irrational, so why would you expect any kind of logical consistency from a racist?

That's not to say the accusation isn't bullshit, because frankly how would any of us know. But it isn't not true for that reason alone.

  18. And to think this all started when he said the age difference was the reason for the break-up.....(stupid...never talk about a woman's age..especially an actress)..This needs to stop now...enough!

  19. surfer, I think you are right. She said, she said seems to be closer to the truth. I just hope the judge can see through this mud slinging.

  20. This has become such a ugly public battle. Halle should never have taken any of these allegations public. The only one who will suffer ultimately is Nahla and that's just inexcusable.

I don't know what's true or false but I'm having a very hard time believing Halle. Something is afoot and it stinks.

  21. I don't really appreciate that this was written as if the accusation were true. It probably isn't and there's absolutely nothing that backs it up. Looks to me like someone else has also picked sides.

  22. I find this all a little bit PRed so to speak.

Why would a racist ? marry a black woman... wouldn't that just go everything he 'supposedly' believed in...

I feel sorry for him. Halle doesn't strike me as lil Miss Sweetness and Nice...

And just because she's got a banging body (mag speak not mine - but I agree she has a fine figure) and is an actress means she's Mother Theresa !!!

  24. I don't believe it, but if it IS true, why put it out there in the public? Just keep between yourselves and your lawyers. Halle looks worse with each statement that comes from her camp.

  25. I agree with all of the above posters. I have never seen her referred to as "black." Magazines usually don't refer to children like that. Now...I do take issue when they constantly refer to children who were adopted as their "adopted child." I have adopted 3 children and I don't think of them as my "adopted children." They're just my kids. Period. Oh...and one of them is black/African American...but she prefers to be called "brown." LOL! I just call her my beautiful daughter.

  26. Halle stoops lower everyday. What a despicable woman.

  27. Why wouldn't he make his daughter's race into a big deal?

    She's mixed.
I don't think there is anything wrong with him wanting his daughter to be proud of both races.

    Racist?
    I don't know.
I can see people saying it to be really cruel.
I remember one of my sorority sisters used the N word to describe a guy she hated.
Let's just say you could hear a pin drop.

I never looked at her the same way.
Some people cut her some slack, but I never talked to her after that incident.

There are so many words you can use to describe someone you don't like.

  28. Anna Maria, I can't believe people here can't get that. It's not unbelievable, but we all don't know what the truth is on either side.

Many people have varying degrees of bigotry. The most external would be those in ethnic supremacist groups.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I agree, Enty, the second half of this makes it sound like you're giving credence to this bullshit. Regardless of what you think of Gabriel, I seriously doubt that any article has ever talked about her race. Why would they?

    ReplyDelete
  30. If Halle is making this up (and I suspect she is) she's the worst sort of person for creating a racial issue to cloud the waters of their custody tug of war.

I always found it rather amusing how she went out of her way to call herself black, and for winning the Oscar for black actresses everywhere, when she's half white. I saw a photo of her with her mother and thought, "Why is she being photographed with Dame Judy Dench?"

Anyway, she is doing her child a great disservice by this nasty war. I think HB grew up without a father; why is she wishing that on her own child?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ice Angel and I have not always seen eye to eye, but I have to agree with her on this one. I am so sick of seeing stories about stars and their "adopted" children. They are their children for God's sake. I don't get that.

As for this story, I agree with everyone here who thinks the mud-slinging should stop. All it's doing is creating a battery of future-issues for Nahla. Enough already.

  32. One thing...it's not even a case of he said/she said, but one of media outlets alleging he said/she said.
"Sources connected with the former couple" have provided this information. Who was that? Lawyer...publicist...landscaper?
So far it just looks like Halle's(alleged) word against Gabriel's (alleged) word.

  33. Halle is .... just mentally torturing this guy.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Halle absolutely has racial hangups herself, otherwise she wouldn't have gotten that nose job. She's biracial, herself.

She could be making this up but Gabriel is French Canadian...and...well...I feel like this makes it more possible. LOL.

Race is a tough thing. We pretty much all have racial/ethnicity hangups of one kind or another. Sucks they are letting it get so ugly.

Anyway. MY quarter black, half-Canadian out-of-wedlock daughter is gorgeouser than Nahla, beautiful as she is. Yeah, that's self-centered, but it's what I think about every time I see this crew. lol.

  35. It seems like Enty is drinking Halle's koolaid. If the guy was so racist, then why did he date her and have a child with her?

  36. Another day, another story from the Halle PR train.

    Still not on board Halle...
