John Travolta In One Of Those Sex Swing Things

One of the benefits of pushing 400 pounds is that you have a great excuse for not trying something like a sex swing. After it crashes to the ground when just an arm hits it, you pretty much are spared any further embarrassment. John Travolta weighs considerably less than me though so he left his hair on the clothes line and got himself into what looks like a sex swing. Oh sure, I guess it could be called a hammock, but when Tommy Lee was showing off his crib on Cribs, I seem to recall something that looks like this that he had next to his stripper pole and closet of toys.

  1. These hammocks are soooo comfortable. I'm old enough that if I get the opportunity, I don't care if someone says it looks like a sex swing. Younger people probably think it's gross to think of someone as old as I am - pushing 50 OMG! - would even have sex LOL

I saw a funny photo the other day of a real sex swing piled high with junk mail that really made me laugh. If I find it again, I'll post the link.

  2. i don't know what makes him creepier. Wigs or no wigs.

  3. I do not know what is funnier, that fact that he is in something that resembles something else, or the fact that he is more pissed after being caught without the dead cat rug thing on his head?!

  4. Personally I think he looks better without the toop. But then I'm bald, too.

  5. He should go all Bruce Willis, there's no shame in not having hair. @nunaurbiz I agree! those are sooo comfortable.

  6. That hair piece just says so much about who he is and what he thinks he has to pretend to be.

I would never have thought that was a sex thing. Outside in Hawaii i assume it's a hammock.

  7. The receding hairline doesn't bother me. I wish he would go au naturel rather than wear rugs. I'm with @jess in that I would rather see men with shaved heads than rugs or (gag!) combovers!

  8. I agree with looserdude - he looks good au naturel. Someone commented on the facebook Gawker feed "Now if he'll only lose his beard."

So what exactly does a sex swing suppose to do? Never heard of the contraption.

  10. My guy shaved it all when it started to go, it looks great...
    That said he looks awful...

  11. i feel so sorry for this guy, he was in Pulp Fiction for Christ's sake- he doesnt have to pretend $#it!
does he even know who he is :(

  12. I wonder how many auditing sessions it's gonna take to undo this.

Tony Manero, Vinnie Barbarino, & Danny Zuko all taken out in one fell swoop.

  13. You forgot Vincent Vega

  14. We have two of those chairs up at our cabin. Comfortable, but really hard to get out of. I can't imagine trying to have sex in them, it just wouldn't work. And I think Travolta looks good here. He should ditch the toupee.

  15. My husband has a nice buzz cut, a high & tight (yes, he is active duty) and it does look good.
I am DYING over the comment about when is he going to lose the beard....

  16. Sex swings are a little lower and fun! :) Sylvia, basically you are somewhat airborne while being pummeled by your man or a woman with a dildo. LOL. It also preserves your energy somewhat.

  17. He should definitely lose the wig.. He looks great without it.And he should be true to himself.. Nobody really cares if he is gay.

  18. I agree about the wig thing. And people already think he's gay so what's the big deal at this point?

I also liked the "lose the beard comment too" ...

  19. This is the first time I have ever seen him without the piece. He looks better without. And agree that this looks like one of those hammock chairs.

  20. Wow, I never would have thought "sex swing" looking at that photo. You learn something from this site every day!

  21. Please call Elton John for his hair replacement doctor. Please!

  22. Love the "lose his beard" comment and thinks John looks great without the rug... Poor baby to be so insecure at his age and so fearful...

  23. loserdude, hair is greatly over-rated. Wear your baldness proudly like John T should always do. You prolly look much better than going for the dead squirrel effect anyway.

  24. It's not a sex swing.
    Trust me.

And he looks surprisingly okay without the rug.

Thanks rebellious for the info LOL

  26. I think he looks fine without the rug, def. better than with.

But the real question to ME is:

Once you get to the level of Scientology that JT (and a few other unnamed actors. ahem.) you're not supposed to be able to go bald. Or you should at least be able to use your Scio power to stop it.
Scis are told that once they have spent enough money, they will be almost super-human in their abilities, like gods on earth. I regretfully wonder aloud if JT found Jett when he was still alive, and his BULLSHIT 'powers' failed him. Probably really shook his faith.

  28. I really like John Travolta. Everything I have seen from him and heard about him indicates that he's a super nice guy. I'm sure he thinks that $cientology is responsible for his success, but I get the sense that it has been costly to his emotional well being. There have been rumors that he has been close to leaving the Church in the past. I'm rooting for him. I prefer him gay, bald and covered in body thetans.

  29. I stared at the picture for a few minutes trying to figure out why it looked different, before I realized that he wasn't wearing his hairpiece!

I think he looks fine without it.

  30. I liked him in the movie he did with Denzel and he was bald. Lose the hairpiece and the beard.

  31. That hammock does look super comfy. That pic of him, though, gives me the sads.

    @shakey - Love it!

  32. he looks like a member of the Royal family of Monacco now.

  33. I much prefer all bald to toupee. I wish people would embrace middle age instead of trying to look younger. It doesn't work.
