A Julia Roberts Project I Can Embrace

It is about time that Julia Roberts stepped away from what she has been doing for the last 25 years and she is finally doing it. Julia is scheduled to play the evil queen in Snow White. I was thinking Angelina Jolie would have been good for the role, but Julia is right up there. It is just so out of the norm for her and I think she could play evil really well. I think she has a lot of inner evil that probably needs to escape. Throw on a bunch of makeup and give her a good looking co-star she can have sex with and I think Julia is perfect for this.

  2. is she really that bad about sleeping with co-stars? I had never heard that until a few weeks ago and now it seems like I hear it all the time.

  3. I loathe her, except as Shelby in Steel Magnolias and of course Viv babe in Pretty Woman.

"My colors are blush and bashful."

I truly believe she gets down with married male co-stars all ze time.

  4. I see Angelina Jolie more as the evil queen in Sleeping Beauty that can turn into a dragon. Even Angelina's evil is greater than Julia Roberts.

  9. @BigMama

From the early part of her career: Liam Neeson from Satisfaction, Dylan McDermot from Steel Magnolias, can't remember if she did Richard Gere during Pretty Woman, Kiefer Sutherland from Flatliners then his best friend Jason Patric, Matthew Perry after she guested on Friends.

  11. I found this on the old gossip site the A List, so it was written a few years ago:

Roberts, Julia. Has well-earned reputation for falling in love with, and just as quickly dumping, her costars, even/especially when they're married. Drunkard and drug user. Difficult to work with. Very difficult to work for and drive. Has been acting badly toward fans, too. (Of course, some fans have written in and said how nicely she acted toward them). Does not shave her armpits. Very bad tipper (shame on you, Julia!). Plays both sides of the field. Size queen and likes that back-door loving. Linked with Ben Bratt, George Clooney (who she cheated on Ben Bratt with--and who among us would not?), Daniel Day Lewis, Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Lyle Lovett (who she married, then divorced, thereby breaking the poor boy's heart), Dylan McDermott, Liam Neeson, Jason Patric, Matthew Perry, Susan Sarandon, Kiefer Sutherland (who she left on the eve of their wedding), and Bruce Willis.

  13. I always thought she would be the perfect choice to portray 'The Queen of Mean', Leona Helmsley.
I doubt it would be a stretch for her!

  14. So, Javier should be up on that list too, yes? what about Brad Pitt or Mad Max?

I can't stand this woman. Never thought of her as a Pretty Woman even though everybody thinks she is. Just because she got married and has 2 or 3 kids does not mean she is a Lady.

  16. I have to admit, some of those things make me say, "and this is supposed to make me dislike her?" or why are they even relevant? Like why would it matter if she shaved her armpits or liked "back-door loving." The only thing that would show is that she obviously gets her back-door loving from trashy talkative guys or that she doesn't give a fuck and talks about it herself. And why does it matter if she swings both ways or if she falls in love easily. Lots of artists do. I'll admit, not always with married men, but that's about one of the only things I don't like about her. As for the "not tipping, mean to fans" things, that kinda seems like the same things that are said about Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, etc. Maybe they are giant bitches, maybe they aren't but it seems like actresses have to be "on" at all times or else they are labeled a bitch.

  17. The A List was hard on almost everyone. I think it was the first place I read any celeb gossip.

  20. Paisley!!!!The A list was awesome. My first gossip site. It morphed into the awful hollywoodalist which was an over-moderated mess.

  22. I like Dove's suggestion of her playing Leona Helmsley. Nice one.

I can picture her being the evil queen. Is this Snow White live action or an animated remake?

Her horse laugh drives me bonkers

  24. I've never understood the not shaving the pits thing.

I never heard about her being linked to Sarandon!

I have to admit, I do enjoy most of her movies, even though IRL she sounds like a horrid person.
