A Partial Lindsay Lohan Theft History

With Lindsay Lohan staring down that felony grand theft charge today, Kneepads of all magazines decided to put an intern to work and compile a history of Lindsay Lohan theft accusations. It has to be an intern. That way if Lindsay does climb her way back to the top and Kneepads wants a cover story they can blame it on some college kid who was the relative of someone who no longer works there. Also, because they cannot get to crazy, Kneepads has decided to omit all the people who have accused Lindsay of stealing things from their apartments or hotel rooms. Still though it is a nice effort from the intern.

• A student alleged that Lohan swiped her $11,000 mink coat from 1Oak club in New York in Jan. 2008 after Lohan was photographed wearing it. The coat was quietly returned to Markova, and Lohan reportedly reached a financial settlement with her a year later.

• Lauren Hastings accused Lohan of stealing thousands of dollars' worth of clothing from two of her closets after Hastings's housesitter threw an unauthorized party. Citing eyewitnesses, Hastings claimed "they saw Lindsay Lohan basically in my closet, handing a bag of clothes to her bodyguard."

• In June 2009, $400,000 in Dior jewelry went missing from an Elle photoshoot with Lohan in London. This one was the big one. I still cannot believe she got away with this one. Elle must own her soul at this point.

• Lohan was questioned by L.A. sheriffs in April 2010 over a missing $35,000 Rolex watch, but its owner eventually asked police to stop investigating. The watch reportedly belonged to a friend who accidentally left it at Lohan's home. Detectives never determined if a theft was committed.

  1. Check her fingernails in pics where she's wearing the flowered dress. You know she's back on drugs!

  2. If she had any brains at all, she'd just buy the darn things. Instead of stealing, denying, then quietly paying off her victims.

On the other hand, paying off some victims seem to work, if they don't want to testify against her.

  3. So today's arraigment was kind of a lifetime achievement felony grand theft award.

Lindsay is probably really freaked out right about now. She seems to have been impervious to jail at this point, so is this the time it will actually happen? She will have a nervous breakdown if she gets convicted and has to serve actual time.

  6. sooo, by being arrested and charged does she violate her probation or does she need to be convicted first?

  7. Please, she has no soul.

  8. What about the Paris jewelry store last year or whatever?

  9. If I remember correctly, there was also a shoot a couple years ago that she did for Louis Vuitton where several pricey items including clothes, handbags, and jewelry turned up missing. Louis Vuitton has not worked with her since.

  10. I hope the Judge lets all that be brought up in court. she has a history of stealing, so it should matter.

  11. She's been getting by with this so long - buying people off, returning the items, settling quietly... at this point she pretty much thinks she's invincible. She can do whatever she wants because no one is there to make her face the consequences. The smug look on her face in all her photos is proof of that. And what does she do the night before her court date? Get her hair and nails done, so she looks good for the cameras.

Just once, if someone were to make her pay the piper... but I have a feeling she will skate here just like she always does. And Dina will be shouting from the street corners "Justice!"

  13. I have heard about Lohan and Vuiton, but this is the only alleged theft I think *didn't* happen. She never had a contract with them and I don't recall any Lohan/Vuitton photo shoot (and certainly never a runway appearance!) (Sorry, I have like a 3 foot stack of Lohan in magazines in my closet; used to worship her.)

J.Lo did rob Vuitton blind though, and that's why they dumped her from campaigns (2002-3 ish.)

Lindsay does get photographed with a lot of Vuitton; who knows where she gets it.

  16. Yeah, there have definitely been more incidents than these listed. And these are just the instances where it's gotten OUT because people were fed up and willing to go public. I imagine she's got a shitload of stuff that she stole successfully.

It's not about money for her, it's entitlement. She's a lost cause.

  19. Guess her people didn't point out that Martha Stewart stopped on her way to court *every morning* during her trial to be blown out, made up and dressed by her stylists. Look how well that worked out for her.

  20. it obviously isn't the fact that she doesn't want to pay for these things. She is addicted to the rush of stealing and getting away with it. She is an addict in more ways than one. It costs her way more to pay the people off when she does get caught than to just buy the stuff outright. So clearly it is a game to her.

  21. And what gets me - is this long line of paps and video cameras waiting at the courthouse for her... and she's going to make this big public entrance like she's walking a red carpet. And I'm thinking - she's going to COURT because she's brought up on THEFT CHARGES - isn't she the slightest bit embarrassed or ashamed? This is not a movie premier... Anyone with a shred of decency would not want this kind of publicity at all but to her - it's another opportunity to get papped and get in the news. It just totally blows my mind. There is not an ounce of humility in this girl at all. Just total entitlement.

  22. The good news for LiLo haters is that theft charges are usually what end up getting addicts thrown in jail. There's no rehab for stealing that she can pretend to attend to get out of this one.

  23. At this point all of this screams child star headed in the direction of all of these other child starts that can't get their shit together. Not saying that it is easy or enviable to be a child star but at some point don't you think people would look at those before them and try to be different. We have seen this happen so many times before. It's pathetic...

  24. Dina has been so unusually quiet during this round. Did Lindsay steal her tongue?! Sorry, guys ... go ahead and gong me.

  25. Dear, dear Sweet Baby jesus,

Please please let Lindsay go to jail, just like us regular, normal people would if we stole thousand and thousands of dollars worth of stuff.

And throw her parents in jail for good measure.

    Thank you.

  26. So, is she a kleptomaniac? Or just an entitled bitch?

The Dior thing is mind blowing to me. I cannot comprehend ANYONE letting her get away with this.

So if they throw her in jail, won't she get out in a few weeks just like all the other times?
