Radio
Today is the last day for the donation drive and that little button on the upper left. I want to thank everyone who has contributed or sent words of encouragement. Over the next three weeks I will be passing along more information about the show. Thanks to everyone who has offered to help on the show too. All of you are wonderful. Today, for the last day of the drive, I thought I would reveal a blind item for every $100 received. So, if it were like the other day, there would be 15 blind items that I would reveal on Monday morning. The goal though is more modest. $1000 and 10 blind items is the goal. That would bring the total for the week to $3000. Thank you again!!!
Shoot, I will cut you a check for $1000 if you tell us 1. Who MV is? and 2. Who is the pop singer that is HIV Positive, although that one I think we all thought was Winohouse.

ReplyDeleteMilli Vanilli were famous back in the 80's (?) and it turned out they didn't really sing their songs, someone else did. MV is the name of a blind item about a current star who also doesn't really sing her songs. I think most guesses were that it was JLo. Correct me if I'm wrong, going from memory. I'd pay big bucks for that reveal too!
ReplyDeleteMV stands for MIlli Vanilli and is the name given to a long running BI on this site about a famous singer who does not sing on her records she actually is paying another woman to sing ala Milli Vanilli
ReplyDeleteHow can you sue someone you don't know exists?? It's a BI Blog it would take a lot of detective work and money to locate and find out who Enty really is.

If I had to choose, I'd prefer knowing Coke mom over MV. Coke mom is a horrible person, and I want to be able to trash her openly ;)

ReplyDeleteIn the MV blind there are supposedly only 3 or 4 people who know about the it (Enty, MV, the backup singer and the producer/agent).
Just search the label MV on CDAN and you'll find all the blinds.

ReplyDeleteI love you, Enty, but I'm hesitant to donate after the last time I donated and was promised something that I didn't receive. It's not the missing material item that bugs me, it's the fact that there was no explanation or follow-through.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I'm really unhappy that the readers are constantly be asked for donations. I was a legal secretary for over 30 years, in both big and small cities in Southern California, and the "cheapest" attorney I worked for billed at $250.00 an hour. If Enty is a entertainment attorney in Los Angeles, he's got to be billing at least $1,000.00 an hour. Supposedly he lives in his parents' basement, so what is he doing with all the money? I'm guessing that the majority of the readers of this site are on fixed incomes, making minimum wage, or students, who don't have extra money to spend on someone else. I'd really like to hear from Enty as to why he can't pay his own bills.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I would love to donate but I am going to have to hire a plummer to fix big problem. My tax rebate will be spent on that. I vote Coke Mom or at least a hint closer to her...ie she's a red head.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I missed some post along the way. Why does Enty need the money? For "himself" or a charity? I have never bought that 'he' is really a lawyer, a fat slob, or even possibly a male. I don't doubt some sort of industry ties. That said, why the hell not get ads on the website. Why charge the readers? Especially if you are a lawyer making good money. Something is fishy all about this...Not to mention we have no idea how much he is truly raising.

ReplyDeleteIf Enty really wants to get the money for realizing that radio show, he could cut back on the pictures he's posting every day. Especially those countless pictures of women in their gowns at some red carpet event like the SAGs. I can go to other sites to look at those. I come here for the gossip, the mostly tasteful way Enty comments on celebrities and their shenanigans without using the typical sexist slurs and the commenters.
I, for one, don't need three parts of pictures every day. Just saying.
Elizabeth, the donations are for startup costs for a new weekly radio show for Enty. (Just offering an explanation - I don't care if you donate or not. :) )

ReplyDeleteSee now, I was sure MV is Brit. I remember one of the blinds saying that its a surprise because MV can really sing. Brit sings live but the voice is completely different from her concerts or albums.
ReplyDeleteIm also almost positive Ent isnt a fatty or living in his parents basement. That said, a web site of this caliber is a full time job, maybe for even more than one person. Ive always had the impression that a woman also works on the site.
