I love Thandie Newton's dress. Julianne Moore's dress looked much prettier in the videos than it does in that picture. The only outfit out of that bunch that is even close to bad might be Minnie Driver's. It's not really awful, but the bustline is sitting too low. It reminds me of a casino dress, for some reason.
I am obsessed with Colin Firths' wifes' dress though. Wow, it is stunning and elegant!! It is not pictured above, but I am sure it will make it on this page in the second round of photos.

Watched part of this on BBC America late last night. Helena's speech was quirky and all over the place and completely endearing. Love her, she's such a pleasant little nut.
Am I the only person disappointed that Helena Bonham Carter looked relatively... normal? I love her usual crazy-and-don't-give-a-fuck looks, this was way conservative for her, lol
Cancan, I think it's just the angle. I saw other pictures last night and she didn't look pregnant. I love that dress. I find it quite stunning. Beautiful colour. Having said that, I too wonder why she belongs on a red carpet for an awards show.
