Anna Kournikova On Biggest Loser?

In one of the strangest reports I have read in a long time, apparently Anna Kournikova is going to join the cast of Biggest Loser as one of the trainers. Huh? Is she going to have everyone out there running down tennis balls? I know she is in excellent shape but just because you are in excellent shape does not mean you can translate that into helping others get into good shape. I mean, I can eat a ton of food, but that does not mean I can get people to also eat as much food as I do.

  1. I can't imagine Anna training anyone. She is such a narcissist it would be impossible for her to focus, even momentarily, on anyone but herself.

  2. she is so overrated. Her body is gorgeous, but she is a butterface, and a shitty tennis player.

  3. Female trainers seem to have a tough time following Jillian. The blonde got kicked to curb when Jillian came back a few years ago and the young girl from this season, Kara, is cute and sweet but I don't think she has what the show needs over the long haul.

WTH, I'll give Anna a shot.

Known eye candy and ratings tactic.

  5. I think she would be great. She has been on the show in the past as a guest trainer, and I think she did a good job.

  7. I don't know why I love that show so much, but I do. Jillian is a tough act to follow.

  8. Why is she doing this? Is Enrique making her pay rent or something?

  9. At Mango, that was funny as Hell. LMAO. All I could think was WTF when I read the story.

  10. With all the reports about how many former contestants gain back so much of the weight they lose on the show because their metabolism re-adjusts when they get back to the real world (where they have to work and can't exercise for 4 hours a day), I can't watch this show any more. Same thing for Extreme Home Makeover, knowing how many have had to walk away from giant houses that are newly taxed and too expensive to maintain. Reality TV is becoming a very horrible hurtful thing in this country.

  11. I don't know why I love this show so much either lanasyogamama, but I do!
I will miss Jillian, I know lots of people don't like her, but I love her!

Totally agree about Cara. She's great, but something's just not there. Not sure about the new guy either.
I think Anna will be alright, I liked her on the show before too.

  12. I dunno, she's been playing tennis forever and knows a lot about staying fit/healthy outside tennis. I believe she put out a fitness DVD too? Not that any of that makes her an expert, but I guess they are trying to change things up.

Maybe Enrique's greatest hits will appear on next season's workout CD.

She is a smoker! I like the occasional social cig myself, but I hardly think she is a role model for people looking to live a healthier lifestyle... not only does she smoke, she has been dangerously thin in the past as well - I am guessing she is a handful!
