Leighton Meester Beat Her Mom With A Bottle

Over the weekend when I read that Leighton Meester was suing her mom for diverting funds which were supposed to go to Leighton's sick brother, I was tempted to write about it, but I think we already know Leighton's mom is not the nicest mom around. I need to dig out my Leighton Meester mom blinds because she is in about four of them. Let us just say she will sell anything at all related to her daughter.

So, since Leighton sued her mom, Leighton's mom had to get back at Leighton right? She says that first of all, yes Leighton sent her $7,500 a month but it was not for the sick brother, but because she helped earn all that money for Leighton. Uh huh. She also claims that on December 11, 2010, at 2am, Leighton threw her mom to the ground, got on top of her and repeatedly hit her with a bottle until the sick brother had to pull Leighton off their mom.

Sounds like quite the holiday party. Do you think this goes back to the whole being born in jail thing?

  1. I'm not sure I believe one word Mom has to say.

Bottom line - Leighton did send $7,500 each month for her brother. I think that says a lot about her.

  5. I don't believe a word her mother says, I read somewhere Leighton was born while her mother was in jail...
Whatever, this is a case of the mother being jealous of her own child.
So I say Leighton hold your ground and divorce
you mother, cut ties. Try to get custody of your brother....don't let her use him to get to you.
    End it now.

  6. I hope this doesn't come across as too harsh but I think there are a whole lot of mothers out there in the world that could use a bottle beating..

off topic: that dress is awesome!

  8. Also don't believe a word her mother says. I believe most all of Leighton's family, aunts, mother, etc. all did jail time. She was amazing to make the life for herself that she did, and kudos for her for TRYING to take care of her younger brother.
You can't choose your parents, unfortunately.

  10. Leighton can't be too high rolling with just GG money. that's a lot of dough for her to pay out.

  11. I hope Leighton is claiming her brother as a dependant, at least. Her mother is shady, period. And on the hitting/bottle incident? Wasn't this around the time Meester discovered mother was stealing from her and fired her as manager? Maybe the mother attacked her first with the bottle and Meester got it away from her. Interesting there's no police report.

  13. Who's that in the picture with her?

I think she's about the most gorgeous actress working right now. And I really liked her in Country Strong. Goopster, not so much.

  14. Wow, I had no clue her mom was that bad! I knew about the prison thing but not everything else. Poor Leighton! I wonder if she can gain custody of her brother and just get him out of that situation? How awful!

  17. Adorable siblings. And I totally agree her $7500 means a lot; she's not making big bank!

I think there was also a blind about a mom selling tabloids info...

  18. I adore Leighton. When this story first came out the other day I thought that I can't wait for Christmas to see what it will be like at the Leighton house. It'll be like a UFC championship event. I guess that isn't going to happen now. Instead of a water bottle (which wouldn't do much damage anyway) next time Leighton could beat her mom with a Christmas turkey drumstick or a can of hairspray. Now that could cause some damage. And if you don't think hairspray could cause any serious permanent damage I have 4 words for you: John Travolta In Drag.

    I rest my case.

  20. No matter how rich and famous you are it is tough trying to leave a rotten childhood behind.

  21. I hope her brother can get a care giver that CARES for HIM and his WELFARE.

    Bye bye scuzzy Mom.

  22. might want to change the headline to read "says" vs stating it as fact? Enty?

  23. I'm going to take whatever the mother says with a grain of salt. She doesn't seem like a very credible person.

  24. I really really like this girl. I've never seen her show but I've seen her in a couple of other things, and she's pretty talented. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous. I don't believe the mom at all. Here's hoping Leighton keeps that good head on her shoulders & soldiers on & Has a wonderful, successful life - without mom (or with mom if they can have a civil relationship. No matter how bad your mom is it can't be easy not having them in your life.)

  25. I'm pretty sure you're a civil attorney and not a criminal one, Enty, but you really ought to put "allegedly" in that headline. And yes, I believe Leighton over her mom, and hope the former can get custody of her brother, or that he can declare himself an emancipated minor.

  26. I think I read somewhere that the brother had cancer. He might have recovered by now. Leighton is willing to pay his ongoing insurance and school bills.
