Hmm. $6k a month actually doesn't get you that much in NYC. I've lived in absolute shitholes for $2,500 a month, so depending on the neighborhood, $6,000 would be relatively modest. Perhaps it's someone lesser-known, or at least not with as much cash as we'd think. Someone who hasn't done much lately?
