Today's Blind Item

This top 3 finisher on American Idol thought she had it all figured out. Go public with the failed marriage thing and show off the new guy she met on location who said he was in love with her. One tiny problem. The new guy dumped her, but she already told her significant other. Now she does not know what to do, except show off what looks like some really bad looking plastic surgery.

    When I Googled American Idol plastic surgery, the only Idol finalist that came up was Kellie Picker.

    Kellie went out at #6 during Season 5.

    Katharine McPhee and Crystal Bowersox got married after their time on the show. So did Carrie Underwood. But Carrie isn't sporting any weird looks and Crystal isn't popular enough for most folks to care about her marriage woes. This is Katharine, more than likely.

    Female Top 3 finalists who are known to be married include:
    Nikki McKibben (season 1)
    Carrie Underwood (season 4)
    Katharine McPhee (season 5)
    Crystal Bowersox (season 9)

    Of those the only one i could see being "on location" i.e. acting, is Katharine McPhee.

    Katherine is getting a series mid-season on NBC called Smash.

    It was promoted during the end of The Voice.

    I think it's Kat ... when we saw her on the Voice promoting her new show, my husband (not the most observant guy on the more subtle nuances of plastic surgery) said: "THAT'S Katherine McPhee? What did she do to herself???".

    So, I think it's her.
