BuzzFoto Blind Item

This young, hot celebrity couple who met on the set of their film have been dating since their film came out, but a source tells us that they finally slept together for the first time, only last month. Their relationship started out as a genuine friendship and they decided to take things slow in part, because they thought it would help their onscreen chemistry.

  2. I like Vicki's guess the best, and I've only read three answers. :-)

This is the only Buzzfoto blind I've read in forever that I actually believe, because it's so OBVIOUS: Mila and Justin.

God, she could do sooooooo much better. Why not Gosling!?!?!? Why can't she hook up with HIM?!

  3. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield from the new Spidey?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh, nevermind! I just saw that their film HAD come out already! Sorry!
I go with Justin and Mila too.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm going to guess Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. It's already been rumored they're more than just friends on the set of the new Spidey movie... Right?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't think it's Emma and Andrew because they're being *kinda* public with their relationship. Justin and Mila have been rumored to be boinking forEVER -- if she made him wait that long, good for her! I still think she could do better, though.

I'm going to hijack this thread with a Lainey blind, because Enty refuses to post them and I love them:

"She learns for him, will not leave him

So much speculation and it’s been going on for years that she will finally leave him because he simply won’t, ever, change. But do you know the lengths she went through to get him, and keep him? Did you know she enrolled in classes at university, not because she was interested for herself, but because she wanted to be able to talk to him about...things? She wanted to be able to keep up. She wanted HIM to know/believe/think she could keep up. She worships his brain. She wanted to make sure that he was finding her brain adequately stimulating.

They say that he’s been trying to get out of there. He hasn’t tried. There has been no attempt. It’s kinda futile. First because, even if he were to want to bail, everyone in his life would be against it, and has warned him of the consequences, but also because she has told him straight up, on several occasions, “I will never leave you”. This one doesn’t get enough credit for her tenacity."

Yeah. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Right?

Boy, am I sick of those two, honestly.

    Anyway, carry on, carry on...

  7. Mila and Justin for sure. And I say good for her for making him wait, mostly because I'm totally hot for Justin, too. Sure he was an asshole with Jessica, but I think he definitely has the potential to be a good boyfriend as he was with Britney and Cammie.

Hmm Ida - I would have said Jessica and Eric for that blind, but the "years" doesn't fit. Ben and Jen work I guess...but is Ben really THAT intelligent? How about Naomi and Liev Schreiber?

    ReplyDelete
  8. @Ida - It definitely could be Ben/Jen. For some reason I am getting a Katie/Tom vibe. Whoever it is, I am wondering how she took college classes unnoticed. Online maybe?

My vote for the Buzzfoto blind also goes to JT/MK

  9. About the Lainey blind: Do you guys really think Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise are so intellectual that a woman would need to brain up to catch him?!?! I don't!

Who is the younger generation William Hurt?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I don't think the Lainey blind is Eric and Jessica -- but that's a great guess. For one thing, I KNOW the dude went to Yale, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's a great conversationalist with a superior intellect. Plenty of people who've graduated from Ivy League schools are just dullards who are great at rote memorization, and Eric strikes me as one of those types -- the fact that he could play football well surely enhanced his chances of getting into Yale in the first place -- not his superior academic record or whatever.

And Jessica would NOT take classes at a university. I just can't see it. I see her as the type who's content with being the Sweet, Dumb Arm Candy in the relationship who's content to be a trophy and nothing more.

Affleck, though, has always struck me as an enormously intelligent guy -- he gives extremely eloquent interviews and is well-read on literature, cinema, politics, the environment, etc. And Garner really DOES gush about how smart he is during every interview. And they've been dogged by divorce rumors for over five years now, probably -- soon after Violet was born, if not before.

She's not stupid, either. It's almost as if she's threatening him by saying she'll NEVER leave him -- she knows it might hurt his career to have that family man image bust up. And can't you see Matt Damon, Ben's mom, etc., saying the same thing?

Anyway. I know SO many blinds are supposedly about those two, but I think it's Bennifer V.2 for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @nunaurbiz -- Affleck attended Harvard -- and more impressively, he won an Oscar for screenwriting while still in his twenties. That really IS pretty badass. The dude might be a tool in many aspects, but his brain is working pretty well.

    ReplyDelete
  12. How about Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I mean for the Lainey blind!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Ida - okay, you've convinced me ;) Jen and Ben ftw.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ida -- just for what it's worth -- Ben and Matt said they "felt like Milli Vanilli" when they won their Oscar for a BIG reason....not to say they're not intelligent, but their script differed VASTLY from what ended up winning.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @swedishfish -- Really?! That's pretty interesting, and I believe it. I've got a few friends who work as screenwriters, and they always talk about the agony of having their words comPLETEly retooled by other people to make content more marketable. I would imagine that two college kids from Boston never stood a chance once Hollywood got ahold of their script.

They also say that if tons of writers are attached to a project, that project is bound to suck -- too many voices = less continuity. I can see it.

Still, though -- the general idea for Good Will Hunting came from Matt and Ben, and I find that impressive (though I honestly didn't really like the movie all that much). I've only taken one or two classes in screenwriting, and it's HARD. Believable dialogue is super tough, and Ben really *is* skilled with it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think Ben has really come into his own as a director. But everything you say is correct - screenwriting is super hard, tons of people get their mitts into most scripts, water them down, etc. In B&M's case they were young and inexperienced and had a much-too-long-and-unfocused script, and it's one of the cases where the rewriting made it better. Sadly the new writer(s) didn't get credit. Miramax took this on because the "young Harvard friends starring in their own movie" angle was too good to resist.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ben is very smart...I hope this isn't them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Matt Damon attended Harvard. If Ben Affleck went there, it was to pick up girls and get drunk. He did go to school in Boston though.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Actually make that New England, not Boston.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jen Garner's already a college graduate (Univ. of West Virginia?) Ben, not. He's no dummy but I think she's more educated than he is.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, I know for sure Matt is SMART. He was doing a rally for teachers with his mom and was just extremely eloquent and verryyyy loquacious and I thought it was sorta common knowledge/a joke that Matt really wrote most of the script. BUT Ben is a fab director and he did help write The Town....hmmmm.

Either way, what a fucking sad marriage. I havent been there but I just dont understand those kind of relationships- where one person holds on soooo tight to the other who just isnt as invested emotionally. Can Jen Garner REALLY be happy living that life? And she had such a sweetheart too in Scott Foley. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  23. After using the foolproof sleuthing tool known as Wiki, I found out that Ben attended school in the Boston area with Ben growing up, but he went to Occidental College, as well as the University of Vermont. He majored in Middle Eastern Studies -- not exactly an easy field.

I don't think Garner's an idiot, either -- but I think "education" means more than just having a degree. It means constantly teaching yourself new things and being openly curious about the world. I know folks who are super "educated" who never set once set foot in a university classroom.

That's something I've only noticed about a few celebrities -- Affleck and Damon each seem intelligent in that way, and so does Angelina, honestly. You can hate on Ange all you want, but the woman comes across as razor-sharp in interviews. Most stars talk about their diets, their upcoming projects, dealing with paparazzi, blah blah blah. Those actors actually sound as if they read a newspaper every once in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ^Agree. I defend Angie a lot on these boards, but I have a genuine appreciation of her knowledge and her desire to learn as much about the world (and expose her children to it) as she can. She's more than a pretty face when it comes to her UN duties.

  25. My fantasy Frieda Pinto and Dev Patel.

    Lucky Sonofabitch.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @JBE -- I hate to tell you this, but Dev has surely seen Frieda naked a few hundred times by now. They've been a couple for YEARS.

I can understand your jealousy, however. That woman *can't* be 100%human.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I read O magazine and they feature celebrities talking about books that changed them. Normally they talk to a writer, Ben Affleck is the only one who has actually written his responses. They were very eloquent. He is intelligent and widely knowledgeable. He is also one of my crushes, but I don't think he is good husband material.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hmm, about the Lainey blind -- could it be Woody Allen and Soon-Yee Previn? If he were to divorce her the resulting scandal may be too much for him to recover from, not to mention what tales Soon Yee may have to tell.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Please make it Garfield and Watson. That couple would be so hot! and cute and funny.

I will now barf at my own cheesiness.

    But yeah, Garfield and Emma.
    What's his first name again?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I know I defend Jen G a lot but I don't think she would have had a lot of time to take more college classes while she was filming Alias, Daredevil/Electra and dating Michael Vartan who she supposedly cheated on for Ben. She had to work out a lot back then as well for all the stunts she did on Alias.

This one doesn't sound like them.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Rita - it's Andrew. And I think you mean Emma Stone, not Watson.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Rose -- I don't see why they still don't fit that Lainey blind, though.

I LOVE Jennifer Garner, actually. I adored Alias, and I liked her arc on Felicity (whatthefuckever, that show was GOOD), and she's obviously a doting and unpretentious mom. On a shallow note, I love her dimples and she cleans up gloriously.

It makes me sad, though, because I think she's in denial about the sustainability of her marriage. Ben always just looks miserable with her, and I don't understand why he *immediately* married her right after J-Lo. I know that Jennifer was pregnant, though (and, uh, what IS it with celebrities not using protection?!) But anyway -- that's kind of how I thought he had something going on with Blake, because he looked SO happy in candid on-set pictures with her. Never, EVer that happy with J and his girls.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Ida: Just because someone goes to Harvard doesn't mean they are an intellectual. I know Harvard grads who don't speak to their education.

And yah, Benny got the Oscar with Damon for writing "f*ck" a thousand different ways. I was shocked they got the Oscar for that movie.

    Doesn't mean he's smart.

Just my opinion, and no offense to you, Ida, because I enjoy your posts. I just disagree on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Not sure who the blind is or the lainey blind but I just wanted to note whenever Ben Affleck is pictured with the girls and Jennifer Garner (which doesn't seem to be often) I agree that he does look totally miserable....

But maybe it's because strange people are photographing him and his family

  35. Isn't William Goldman widely thought to be the screenwriter behind Good Will Hunting?

I got nuthin' re the blinds.

    ReplyDelete
  36. RocketQueen - yep I meant Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield for this blind.

    ReplyDelete
  37. What about Paltrow & Martin for the Lainey blind? She's always talking about how Paltrow will never divorce. Martin seems like he _thinks_ he's brilliant.

I have my doubts on but Paltrow called him a musical genius not long ago. Might explain the guitar lessons?

    ReplyDelete
  38. God, Ben Affleck has gotten so far with this Harvard rumor. He's from Boston but did NOT attend Harvard - that was Matt Damon (who didn't graduate by the way...still, he got in.) Affleck went to UVA.

And yes, WIlliam Goldman did a SERIOUS rewrite on GWH...doesn't mean Affleck and Damon weren't the original passionate forces behind it, just that WGA didn't arbitrate in Goldman's favor.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Since nobody has brought this up re Jen and Ben, i'm now pretty sure i hallucinated it. BUT has anybody else heard that he has big political aspirations [as in presidential]; she "shares the dream" and intends to stick with him through thick and thin; and he won't divorce her since it might endanger his chances with voters?

    ReplyDelete
  40. How about RDJ for the Lainey blind?

    ReplyDelete
  41. OOh I love that elspeth. I saw an interview the other day where someone endorced matt d for president... who was that??

    ReplyDelete
  42. @nunuarbiz -- oh, TRUST me -- I definitely don't think that an Ivy League education makes a person automatically brilliant. In fact, I tried to kind of indicate that in a few of my ramblings up there. :-) No offense taken -- but I DO think Affleck is a smarter dude than many of his peers.

@hunter -- Affleck didn't go to UVA. He went to to University of Vermont -- a waaaaaaay different atmosphere. Give me Burlington over C-Ville ANYday, sorry.

  44. But Mila and Justin aren't dating. It's a young hot celebrity COUPLE. I'm going to have to go with RPats and KStew.

    ReplyDelete
  45. As been stated in previous posts, GWH was a major rewrite. I don't find Affleck all that intelligent. He is not up there with David Duchovy. David D is a few pages shy of his Phd in literature from an Ivy League. I agree about degrees don't mean as much, but David D comes over very sharp in interviews and in print. He blows Affleck out of the water.

As far as screenwriting goes, that's where I began, and it is a very collabrative process. I think Damon and Affleck were just the better faces for GWH. Yes, it was their "idea" but an "idea" and a script are different beasts.

After all that, I think this blind is Kunis and Timberlake.
