Russell Armstrong And His Gay Lover

The National Enquirer found someone who says that he had a year long gay fling with Russell Armstrong. The person does not want to be named but is the assistant for a celebrity. Uh huh. An assistant to one of the Real Housewives? The assistant said he met Russell at a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills party. Hmmmm. Kyle's assistant? Apparently you have to read the magazine to get the details about the affair so if someone is in the store today and standing in the checkout line, let us know if we are missing anything juicy. I don't think a revelation like this would cause Russell to commit suicide. I think it was the wife beating thing that pushed him over the edge.

  1. Exactly, Cedric is what I thought.

  2. Oh Jesus. Just what I need to send me into another tizzy - Enty and others speculating on potential events that supposedly "pushed" a person to suicide.
I'm done commenting on any thread to do with Russell, which I should have done after Enty insinuated the dead man had beat on his wife the day before she appeared with a cut on her forehead.
Slandering the dead when they can't defend themselves = not classy.
Speculating on causes for suicide = fucking arrogant.

  3. Cedric is probably the lover. This is so sad. Lord knows what Russell's reason for suicide were, but it's just horrible.

  4. Thank you RocketQueen. Well said.

  5. This will be the tip of the iceberg. I don't think we're going to hear any good stories about this.

  6. Cedric would easily take $$ to make up a story.

  7. Thank you Rocket Queen. I second well said.

  8. Well I can't argue too much about not slandering the dead when they are not here to defend themselves being a good ideology.

However, I notice that many of us are out here commenting on the Old Hollywood blinds, most of which address dead celebrities who also are unable to defend themselves.

IMHO this is all a slippery slope. If we desire to be classy people who are full of integrity, then we really can't be hanging out posting on gossip boards and speculating about celebrities dead or alive.

As I will fully admit, both of my classy and integrity cards have taken a hit posting on here. But I will own up to that and I will admit that I do enjoy others insights into these topics. I am not ashamed to admit that.

  9. Voice, I agree with that too..but to me there is something a little less unclassy guessing/commenting on a live person, where as there might be a better ending.
This one rubs me wrong because I feel everyone pretty much gets this guy was not necesaarily a very good person, and now has committed suicide, so what more mud rucking needs to be done? He can't redeem himself, like someone who is of the same that is still alive.
*please note I am not trying to be holier than thou*

  10. Enty runs a gossip site. If you're here for class and decorum, you're misguided. He's said time and again that his only real "won't go there" is outing people, and even with that he's teetered on the edge of naming certain people. I don't think anything should be a surprise or looked down on here.

The main reason people are probably upset by this particular story is because it's so soon after the guy's death. If it was a year or two later I don't think people would be up in arms.

What I don't get is that his ex had requested privacy and still I keep hearing gossip about her husband. Another thing that bugs me is that she was divorcing him and she is all drama queen making people believe she cared for the guy.

  12. Ugh...well, we knew this was coming.

I'm a little weirded out by the fact that all the housewives were "by Taylor's side" at the funeral...after spending the last season trashing him to his back. I don't know...sits a little uneasy w/ me.

  13. Cedric, especially since he wasn't allowed into the memorial service.

  14. There's gossip
    and then
there's ghoulish, opportunistic, post-morten character assassination. All in the service of profitting a stupid tv show.

This guy was pushed, it wasn't "the wife beating thing" (which is rank speculation at best given the source) or any other "thing" (again, please to consider the source). Dollars to doughnuts it was the relentless publicity of these claims for profit and personal gain by others; that's what pushed him. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what GREED looks like. It wears pretty clothes and makes sanctimonious pronouncements, all the while continuing to spew slime. About a dead guy. Who had no real chance to fight back while he was still alive, and definitely can't now.

And how kind of you to carry on and validate this conduct.

    Stop.
    It.

  15. I'm just here to say I completely support and agree with Rocket Queen.

    Carry on. I guess.

  16. It's Cedric. He asked to be allowed to attend the funeral, but was denied. What a fame whore...oh wait...all of the are.

  17. Holy crap, we don't need an announcement on who is reading what posts! Just skip over it and move on to something else. If content is so objectionable leave and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  18. I subscribe to all the gossip magazines! All of them.... my poor mailman. I did not get my Enquirer today though so I cannot dish on its contents, sorry. But a few weeks ago I did send Enty this little tid-bit of juiciness and he did not address it. But it came out of the Star Magazine (August 1, 2011, page 38-39) there is a story about Cedric and his kiss n tell book he is planning on releasing that will spill all the juice on the Housewives. "A source claims that RHWOBH star Taylor Armstrong's soon-to-be-ex husband, Russell, is helping him sell the book, though Russell insists, "I have nothing to do with it.""

The reason I brought this to Enty's attention was this juicy chapter entitled "Who's the Daddy?" -"in which he says one of the Housewives (Star has chosen not to name) discovered that her husband may have secretly fathered a child with their young maid. As she confided her heartbreak to Cedric, "She was white as a ghost," he writes "She was sick to her stomach and did not know what to do. It was such a delicate matter, and yet so Jerry Springer." Cedric claims that the housewife later stole her husband's phone and called one of his regularly dialed numbers. "I could tell by the look on her face that a woman had answered the call, and my heart broke for her," he writes. Accd to Cedric, after she confronted her husband, he admitted he had provided money to the maid, but only because anther man, not himself, had gotten her pregnant and abandoned her. Cedric writes that the Housewife never believed her husband- but learned to live with the lie."

This story connects Russell and Cedric?

All I can say is this points to Kyle and her husband and the psychic from that episode that revealed her husband was unfaithful! ding...ding...ding..??

  19. Lafaw...Kyle was the first to out Cedric as a pathological, money grubbing, lazy, free loading liar. She would be the last one to confide in Cedric. She NEVER liked him.
And given Cedric concocted that entire my-mother-the-whore-abandoned-me-at-7-years-old-at-a-pay-phone fable, who could believe a single thing he ever says again?
What a low life POS Cedric is.

  20. I'm with you Black Cat. Enough with the self-righteous comments, move along if it's not your thing.

  21. Russell, quite frankly, wasn't rich enough for Cedric. Cedric is a gorgeous but also pathological liar, not to mention lazy. His sugar daddy will have to be loaded. Still, while waiting for his ship to come in I can see him working with a ghost writer on some greatly embellished or manufactured tales about the housewives in order to pay the bills.

  22. Hmm, what pushed somebody over the edge into suicide???

Why dont we also all take a gander at what it feels like to be a walrus or what it might feel like to walk on Jupiter.

What I mean is suicide is literally comprised of myriad details and nuances intimate for the person going through it- to guesstimate why he did what he did is as foolish as any of those other examples I gave above.
Except its worse, because its like poking at pain.

And btw, any of us can comment on whatever the hell we'd like to. This blog is about gossip yes, but the life of the site is all of us sharing our viewpoints. So yeah.

  23. I don't think it was the abuse. He didn't deny it and this wasn't his first wife or girlfriend who he had alleged domestic problems with.
