Today's Blind Items
This B- list model is not used to actually having to do anything for the money she is paid. Oh, not for modeling, but for being a girlfriend. See, our model previously was the girlfriend for an A list rapper and he only wanted her by his side to look pretty so people would think he liked women. She loved the role. He finally got tired of paying though so she moved on to another rapper who did not have as much money or fame, but it beat trying to audition for modeling jobs. The thing is though her latest guy is straight and expects way more from the model other than to look pretty. At this point she cannot stand the guy but has no other options. Plus, she thinks she can get a reality show out of this.

ReplyDeletei'm on the amber train...but just out of curiosity...is/was she an actual model? i mean, has she done anything we'd recognize? i keep hearing she's a model but have never actually seen her do anything except some ghetto runway trunk show. idk...i may just be out of the loop.

ReplyDeleteShe did a Louis Vuitton campaign, which is pretty high brow, and she's been in a handful of music videos of well known artists (Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Nikki Minaj). I guess just based off the relationship with Kanye most ppl do now know who she is, but because of that, not because of her modeling.
Last I heard she was dating Wiz Khalifa so it all pretty much fits exactly.
Thx, Bnl1016. I kinda didn't believe she was actually a working model because I never saw her in anything, she just seemed like a famewhoring hanger-on. Now I'm wondering why anyone would actually hire her as a model. Her body's not that great, and she's not a knockout either. Then again, what do I know...

ReplyDeleteAmber's rating was probably established when she was with Kanye. That relationship is the only reason she got the Louis Vuitton gig. Wiz Khalifa may be mentally stable, but dating him has no benefits other than she doesn't have to get a real job. But the money isn't nearly as good and I doubt she's getting on the front row of any fashion shows these days.

After she was being trotted around town with Kayne, Ford models picked her up, but dropped her a year later because...oh what's that?....right, she's not attractive enough to model! No way I'd call her B-list and I like the Selita guess but Selita is a VS model so she DOES work..a little bit.

ReplyDeleteThe transition from model to paid "girfriend" is a great gig if you can nab it -- you no longer have to get up early in the morning and shuttle yourself to shoots, you can party all night. And if you're bearding for someone as long as you don't get caught you can still do all your usual drugs and fuck anything that moves like usual. If you're not bearding, then unfortunately you usually have to fuck the fake boyfriend and quite often a lot of his "posse," but at least it's a steady gig instead of always having to hustle and get on a plane or whatever to work the next modeling gig.
