#2 - Some more co-stars who despise each other. Apparently the root of this feud is that the younger B- list actress said some very nasty things about this A list actress and the reasons why she split with her husband. The pair did the tiniest amount of press together for their movie, did not speak forever until the Emmy Awards and did not speak while being photographed.
#3 - Notice that this B- list movie actress looked a little harried and not quite 100%? It is because she had told her B+ television actor who sometimes masquerades as a really bad B- movie actor that she was not going to the show. She just wanted to stay at home because she does not get along with any of his cast. He talked her into it and she came grudgingly.
#4 - Remember Clueless? Turns out she is getting a clue and also it turns out her significant other may not have been immune to the charms of the other actress.

#4 I like the John Hamm and Jennifer Westfelt. Although to tell you the truth, I don't know if she's really getting a clue, for she seemed too clingy during the awards (although she is a director in her own rights), and he seems broody and wants to get away.
I agree with all these. The only one I had no guess for was #4.

ReplyDeleteI remember last night when Lowe presented for lead actress in a comedy and right after Melissa McCarthy won and everyone was being lead back stage the camera angled out and Lowe and Poehler were amicably chatting one on one as they followed everyone off....
So I highly doubt it is them.
Jon Hamm and his gf, on the other hand, make TOTAL sense, in interviews last night, he did seem aloof and she did seem clingy and when they kissed when Mad Men won, it WAS awkward, like someone already said....his eyes remained open and he seemed totally nonresponsive...
ReplyDeleteSounds like this is supposed to be about Parks & Rec/Rob Lowe, but I don't think Amy P is the one in the pair. It doesn't say the female lead doesn't get along with this person (Rob); only that someone on the show was angry at him for trying to upstage Amy. The other person doesn't even have to be female - maybe it makes more sense if it's a guy because another guy took the spotlight. Could be anyone from the original cast who's upset that maybe they didn't get second-billing.

ReplyDeleteI have interviewed both Rob Lowe and the cast of The Office and collectively, they were all super nice. No bad vibes from anyone (although Rainn Wilson was not there).... and Rob Lowe is every bit as handsome and charming in person as I imagined him to be.

ReplyDeleteI think #1 is Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey. It's an open secret that they don't get on. And in her book (which is good btw) she is so super nice about him all the way through after a while I started to suspect she was being sarcastic.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, today, I wanted to call this something like, "If she only knew." Within the past five days this B+ movie actress who started on television and has hit the cusp of A list a few different times was on the red carpet with her nemesis. The thing is our B+ actress ("No Clue")has no clue about her nemesis. The nemesis ("Nemesis") is a C lister who has aspirations of higher lists but no one can stand her once they spend more than five minutes with her so that is probably not going to happen. Anyway, in the past the nemesis hit on No Clue's ex boyfriend who is also a B list movie actor who was in one of my favorite movies of all time. Hit on him hard. Hit on him so hard that they ended up f**king for three days straight at a hotel. No Clue knew about the cheating because he is a serial cheater but had no idea about Nemesis. Fast forward a few years and Nemesis has tried on two different occasions to hit on No Clue's husband who is also an actor. Nemesis has hit on him hard. Done everything possible, but so far he has resisted. The thing is, this is not a coincidence. Nemesis is bitter about a role that she thinks No Clue stole from her which made No Clue a star and Nemesis still clawing her way up the ladder.
No Clue thinks Nemesis is her friend. Nemesis wants it that way so she can stay close and keep trying to screw over No Clue anyway she can
how about Katie holmes/ Chris Klein for ex...Tom cruise for husband...oh wait Katie has no friends....clist or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteLate to the party, but for what it's worth, I met Rob Lowe a few years ago and he was the sweetest, down to earth, wanting to make others comfortable type of guy. And more cute in person than on screen! Not a hint of an out of control ego.
