Jessica Simpson Going To Be Face Of Weight Watchers - For $4M

Even though she has yet to give birth, Jessica Simpson is already planning on how to deal with the baby weight and has signed on to be the spokesperson for Weight Watchers to the tune of $4M. I was wondering why her boyfriend was looking so heavy the past few weeks. Maybe he wants some of that money too. According to US Weekly, Jessica was going to sign on before she got pregnant, but now is waiting until after the birth of her baby.

  1. And this is why I firmly believe Jessica Simpson is way smarter than we think.

  2. Sigh. I'd be willing to do it after I give birth for a fraction of that, Weight Watchers! And I need it more than Jessica does!

  3. Good for her! Like Susan said, Jessica is much smarter than we give her credit for.

And don't worry RQ, you're in your last trimester. Things will look up after giving birth, breastfeeding, and losing weight because you don't have time or sleep.

    Am I not encouraging today?

Thanks Reno - these kit kats and apple fritters have clearly started catching up with my thighs. I didn't even recognize these hamhocks in the mirror last weekend!

  10. I think I gained five pounds a week during my last month. Damn, those hot fudge sundaes were goooood.

$4 million ain't too shabby and along with all that shoe money Jessica must be sitting pretty. Whatever keeps her away from singing I'm all for it.

  14. On another note...Jessica has a rep as being a dip stick. Are y'all sure its her that's the smart one and not her manager/dad?

  15. @Sadie - it's smart to hire the right people for the right job! So whomever Jessica hired and brokered her deal, good for her.

  16. RQ - right or wrong, they are doing it....and I work for the insurance company! They pay a portion of my premium each year, and if everyone doesn't show the satisfactory progress toward a BMI of 28 during the year, the company won't pay that portion of the premium. So while it doesn't really RAISE the premium, it would raise the dollar amount out of my pocket significantly. It's the wave of future.

  18. Time for low carbs, calorie-counting, and annoying Leslie Sansone Walk at Home Dvds. The workout isn't annoying but Leslie is. And I don't mind telling you, I am on a piggy binge till Jan 1 - after that I'll be dieting the rest of my life!!!!

  20. i don't know that intelligence has anything to do with it. i do find it interesting, however, that this woman's life is nothing more than an advertisement.
