Today's Blind Items

#1 - This B- list actress from a hit almost network show has been married before. While she was married she had a little fling with a co-star, but has since moved on to another co-star. Well, that is what the public sees. What the public does not see is the cute female production assistant in her teens that our actress spends time with on a regular basis too.

#2 - This former A list actress and multiple nominee of some of the biggest awards out there is now a C lister on a good day. Well, she still has A list diva attitude though. When she was doing a premiere with some of the cast and was put in a hotel, she found out the director had a bigger room than hers. Our actress was not happy about it and asked him to switch rooms with her. He said no. She replied in a very loud voice in the middle of the lobby, "So help me, you are going to switch rooms with me or I will get on the phone to your wife and tell her all about those extras you f**ked." The director replied that he did no such thing, and the actress said, "It doesn't really matter what happened, she will believe it if I say it."

  1. 2) Why did Faye Dunaway cross my mind here?

  2. Faye Dunaway came to mind first for #2.

  3. another vote for Dunaway.

  4. #2 Jessica Lange? American Horror Story.

  5. i'm so embarassed by these stories. can't imagine being there even towitness these shenanigans.

  6. I looked at IMDB - Dunaway hasn't been in much lately (since 2010) and I don't see where Sigourney Weaver has multple nominations (but I could be wrong). I'm stumped.

  7. If #2 is Sigourney Weaver, the movie premiere could have been that Taylor Lautner bomb that was just out a couple of months ago. Wasn't Weaver in that movie "Ice Storm" back in the early 90s? That movie was all the rage with critics and got lots of nominations. Seems like their are a couple of other thinks she was nominated for. Did Alien or Aliens get any noms?

  8. Sigourney Weaver was nominated for two Oscars in one year -- best supporting actress (Working Girl) and best actress (Gorillas in the Mist), but I don't think this is her. Has anyone heard of her pulling this type of shit before?

Sharon Stone was my first guess, but she doesn't fit. She's only been nominated for one Oscar.

Faye Dunaway is a good second guess, but she's an Oscar winner (for Network).

I guess this makes Weaver look like the best fit.

  9. There are so many "don't you know who I am" (as if anyone has that good a memory) about Dunaway that I could see it. Stone, to the best of my knowledge was only Oscar nominated once (for Casino) but could be a contender. I don't think its Weaver because she generally has a professional reputation and she is still at least a B (in large part because she's getting all the roles that Dunaway and Stone aren't).

  10. How do these people have all this time and energy for so much sex????

  11. Agree with Dave B. Sigourney still gets regular work. She's not A anymore but she's a solid B at least with Avatar, etc.

  12. 1: no idea
    2: no idea

  13. Courtney Cox for the first guess????

  14. jessica lange is not C list. not her. sigourney weaver isn't known for being a diva, as far as i know. faye dunaway's supposed to be an enormous bitch but i don't know if it's her either. hmmmmm.....

  15. #2 For some reason Joan Collins popped in my head. Isnt she on Rules of Engagement?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was thinking Kelly Rutherford for #1.... I don't know who the first hook-up was, though; I think the current one is Matthew Settle (they were in the photos a while back and Enty made a telling comment about it...). Plus, I think Gossip Girl could be considered to be on an almost-network (CW)

  17. I don't think Weaver, she was in Avatar.
    I like the Dunaway guess.

  18. Norsemen - I immediately thought Kelly Rutherford, too, since her marriage ended and there were rumours about her and Settle. Only problem is I don't think GG is considered a "hit" anymore?

2 - I immediately thought S. Stone, but I'm not sure she would have sunk as low as a C??

  19. #2 Ellen Barkin? She was big back in the day

  20. I'm Team Dunaway on this one. IMO Weaver leads a stable, successful life and doesn't need to prove her success by bullying a director. Dunaway? She's gotten a lot of press recently about this sort of thing.

  21. For #2, I was thinking more of a Nicole Kidman-type guess. I know she is an Oscar winner, but I'm going with her FTW.

uh-oh. sounds like it's time for Celebrity Rehab.

  24. Does Lauren Bacall still work? She's a real piece of work.

  25. I'm on the Rutherford train as well.

  26. I like Kelly Rutherford for the first guess.

No clue on the second one. I don't think it's S Weaver, though. She's at least a B list.

  27. For some reason, I pictured Julia Roberts for #2. Definitely diva 'tude. And she really hasn't done much lately. However, she has an oscar (so help me!), so that could rule her out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. How about Jodie Foster for #2

    ReplyDelete
  29. I was sure this was Streisand (she's been a supporting actress in two Focker movies, for crying out loud) but the only movie in post-production has a female director.

    Unless that's the twist ...

  30. @brendalove hahahahahaha I'm dying! An excellent point!

  31. marissa tomei or mira sorvino? both won oscars and barely in anything anymore

    ReplyDelete
  32. 1. Kelly Rutherford was the first person I thought of, too.

    2. Jodie Foster is probably a permanent A-lister, IMO. The woman has been famous forever, practically, and she's so private. Would she really risk a tabloid item about her throwing a tantrum? And I'm with everyone else in that I just CAN'T see Sigourney pulling that kind of bullshit (I also love her, so I'm admittedly biased). But Faye Dunaway has won major awards and was a gigantic star in the seventies, and I've always gotten the feeling that *she* doesn't really realize how her fame has dwindled out.

I also love Jessica Lange, and cannot accept her as a C-lister. Sorry. She *has* won a bunch of awards, though. :-/ An Emmy, two Oscars, and a Tony, if I'm not mistaken.

And Streisand is A-list forever!!! Forever, forever, I say!

  33. The sweetest, gentlest Makeup artist on earth ( with the patience of a saint and never, ever one bad word to say even about some famously difficult stars) once told me the only person to ever push her to the brink of quitting was Faye Dunaway. The story she shared with me was so awful, of such nastiness and cruelty that even Enty would be stunned. So she definitely fits the M.O. But who knows. She may have turned over a new leaf. People can change.....I've seen that too.

  34. My first thought for #2 was Ellen Barkin and I see someone else thought of her, too. I also like the Faye Dunaway guess. Rumors are she's batsh*t and has been since Chinatown (maybe earlier). I could see her doing this, because it sounds like something someone from Old Hollywood would do. No way is it Weaver.

I have no idea who #1 is, but will jump on the Kelly Rutherford train.

  35. How about Andie MacDowell for #2? Just to be different.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hunter, do please post the story! I'm dying of curiosity now!

Sigourney Weaver was outed as a diva bitch years ago as "Sahara Moxie".

    Sigourney for the win.

  38. I really just want #1 to be Nina Dobrev. I haven't ever heard of her being married or anything, but she pings my gaydar for some reason.
