Angelina Jolie is doing nonstop publicity for her directorial debut and in an interview with Marie Claire she says that although there is nothing planned at the moment, that she "could get pregnant again." She also says that there is no way her kids are seeing her new movie until they are much older and that it was surreal writing the movie about rape and other horrible war atrocities and then she would hear 'Mommy, I need another story, I can't go to sleep,' and so I'd pause what I was doing and go tell happy stories about bunny villages."
I could see Brangelina having more kids. She obviously loves kids and despite being as busy as they both are, they do seem to always take time to do something with their children as much as possible. I actually really love the picture above which was taken in their shoot of her. It might be my favorite of her just because she looks normal.
but I thought she wrote the movie while she was quarantined in her attic with the flu for 3 days?

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this picture of her too, for the same reasons. She's also so super serious. I was watching her the other day on TV in something and obviously, she's a great dramatic actress, but I wondered why she'd never delved into the world of comedy at any point.
I don't care what she does with her uterus, but I kinda hope she adopts again.
I feel so sorry for her kids. Seems like everyone here is under her spell today because she took a good picture when truthfully it looks like she is legless and has fake prop legs propped up against her chair. But whatever.
ReplyDeleteHave her kids every stayed in one place long enough to complete a full school year? I remember seeing her dragging them out of a school in New York once, then a month later, enrolling them in school in France. Then a short time later they were in N.O. and then L.A.
Those kids will never have a sense of home or stability.
I still can't get over the fact that she couldn't figure out amazon.

And Jessica, I completely agree with you and have always wondered why no professional has ever talked about how damaging it is to drag children around the world constantly. They have no stability and consistency, not to mention at least one insane parent who is likely on synthetic opiates.

Has anyone asked her about the some journo's claim that he had this story years ago and Angelina copied it? What happened there. Also, yes this picture is charming, but it would be difficult to find a celebrity who didn't look charming making silly faces at the camera in PJs. Maybe Charlie Sheen. And I'm pretty sure Angelina doesn't even have to finish the word "pregnant" for pretty much every gossip mag to start foaming at the mouth.

ReplyDeleteI really hope she doesn't have any more. Children need routine stability and the Brange is not interested in giving it to them. Zahara and Pax seem miserable in most of the pictures I've seen of them lately, probably because of all the flashes going off in their faces. Why not give them some much needed privacy instead of pushing them out in front of the cameras for all these photo ops? It must be such a horrendous culture shock for them to go from being dirt poor in a third world orphange to this.

I agree that dragging those kids around the world every couple of months can't instill a sense of stability, but Angie probably thinks she's doing them a favor by exposing them to exotic locales. Like a 5 year old is impressed by living in the South of France or Czech Republic. Remember when Maddox was like 2 or 3 and Angelina announced that Maddox wanted a baby sister from Africa? Riiiight. Like he even knew what Africa was, other than watching The Lion King on DVD.

I've watched interviews with her and every word seems calculated, though I think in a way she is sincere with what she says she believes. Having said that, I LOVES this pic!

ReplyDeleteI do worry that they do not have a real home and the older ones don't seem to be getting an education. I think the real problem is not having one place to call home at least for a good part of their childhood and teenage years. It's very important.

As for the kids I agree with everyone. It's been said that Maddox has anger issues I'm guessing that's just the the beginning.
This picture is so out of character for her. I think it looks too contrived, like she's trying to project this fun, carefree pose but it's just SO not her.......i miss the old Angelina- she was still crazy but she was honest & didn't care so much what the world thought. Now she's just so manufactured to me, like everyone else in Hollywood. Brad taught her too well.
ReplyDeletethe kids are so little, paxis the oldest and he's what, 9? so like 4th grade? they have each other to play with, and the grandparents and nanny folk to help and offer a sense of home. but i would think that in the next couple of years the kids would start to say that they were tired of traveling all the time. when one of them has a bff and is going to miss a slumber party because of some opening or a save-the-village campaign, THAT will start the hissy fits that get them a home base of some kind.
