Kelly Osbourne Falls Out Of Bed - Breaks Hand

I'm not sure if we are getting the entire story from Kelly Osbourne. She Tweeted that she fell out of bed and broke her hand in three places. When is the last time you fell out of bed during the night? I'm talking about sleeping, not having sex or playing Wii. I bet you don't even remember because it has not happened since you were a kid. So, what do we think really happened? I would say she fell off the wagon, but when I pass out drunk, I don't even move so doubt I would fall off the bed. Kelly is accident prone because last month she suffered a head injury and was knocked unconscious.

  1. She does seem to suffer injuries often. Hope it's not an abusive boyfriend.

  2. Maybe it was a sex-related bed injury and she just had the good judgement not to overshare.

  3. I agree something else had to have happened. I too hope her bf isn't abusive and that it was just a sex injury.

  4. Domestic violence. Classic excuses.

  5. Kelly, get out of that situation, asap. She really has awful taste in men, doesn't she?

  6. Does she also tweet when she's constipated and in need of an enema?

  7. Holy crap! Not sure what the deal is here but I hope like hell she has excellent health insurance!

  8. Funny Mina! Thanks for the Monday laugh (much needed).

  9. Well, I'm on the fence. My 17-year-old fell out of bed not too long ago, but no injuries. Her alarm went off for school and her leg was asleep (unknown to her) and she thought she'd pop out of bed and shut it off and face planted! She at least was able to laugh about it once she realized why she was on the floor.

  10. Actually it happens to me. Our bed is about 3 feet off the ground, and because I'm short I need a small stool to get in and out of it and I have fallen several times because my feet do not touch the ground while sitting on it and if I lose my balance, its down I go. So if its the middle of the night and you wake up suddenly I could totally see it.

  11. Count me in on falling out of bed. I've done it more times than I can count. Bed is very high, I'm short, and I have 3 dogs that always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time if you know what I mean.

  12. Not quite the same, but just a couple of years ago I sleepwalked at a friend's house, slid down the stairs on my ass and broke my toe at the bottom. :-P so it can happen.

  13. I've fallen and while asleep I guess I was thinking I was toward the middle of the bed but really I was sleeping right on the edge and I rolled over and right onto the floor. Never broke anything tho.

  15. I can see this. My husband is an active sleeper and now sleeps against the wall. We devised this system after he rolled/fell out of bed his third time this year. He tried to jump over me the other night in his sleep because he had to "put out a fire." Yeah. . . I can see this.

  16. Haven't fallen out of bed in years but when I had a single bed in college dorms that was right against the wall I rolled over really fast one night and smoked my face in to the wall, not pleasant!
And we've been looking at new beds and while I love the super tall ones I'm only 5'2" and some of the previous comments now have me rethinking the style of bed we should get!

  17. I sprained my wrist in my sleep once and nobody believed me except my doctor (who was the one who told me that was how I must have done it). I just woke up one day and it hurt like hell for no reason at all. So I guess Kelly could have broken her hand falling out of bed. She certainly has seemed to have had a lot of "accidents" lately though so it does seem a bit funny. I personally figure it's drunken accidents rather than an abusive boyfriend.

  18. I have night terrors and sleepwalking. Haven't broken anything yet but I do wake my husband up screaming once or twice a week and often find myself on the other side of my bedroom.

  19. Usually I think Enty is trying to stir us up but this one sounds fishy. Like maybe she fell out of bed but she was hanging from a swing and a bolt came out or she was just finishing off a bottle of rum when the bed jumped up and tripped her.

Thank God she tweeted about it. I'm surprised she didn't mention anyone famous. Maybe if she doesn't get enough attention.

  21. It happens. My mother leaned over in the dark to get something on her night table, misjudged, fell out of bed and broke her foot.

I also fell out of bed (I was six) - I leaned over to put something on my desk which was supposed to be next to my bed (and wasn't), fell and cracked my head open on the bottom of the desk.

They say most accidents happen in the home. I really think this is true.

  22. Love Kelly. Not going to say a bad thing about her... And, yes, I think the pot is trying to be stirred!

  23. Yeah, likely story. Wasn't it just last month that she fell and cracked her head open?

  24. @ParkerNosey - That made me laugh b/c I have a friend whose hubby is also an active sleeper.

She's quite accident prone, isn't she?

  25. I fall out of bed frequently. Granted, I sleep right on the edge, so any movement usually does it.
