Thomas Haden Church was also there and
one of the funniest actors around, Michael Higgins.

A green room photo from Jimmy Kimmel last night with the group from X Factor.

  1. That dress on Elle looks like it's from granny's chest.

And that card near Sean's zip looks funny

  2. As annoying as Sean Penn is, credit for still being in Haiti. Seriously. Unless he flew in for the Oprah photo op.

    Loving the reader photos!

I kind of like Elle's dress. Her shoes are another matter.

Zac is a hot piece. I shouldn't be thinking about his young self, though!

  4. OMG! That dog is the cutest JRT! I love it!!!!

Michael Higgins rocks. "Best In Show" is one of my fav movies ever!

  5. Cute pooch!
The Tis seems to be channeling Brittany Murphy there.

  6. Actually, his name is John Michael Higgins.

  7. I like Scarlett's dress.

  8. John Michael Higgins is brilliant. The US version of Kath & Kim was horrible but every scene with him in it was fantastic.

Reader #2 I need your shirt!

  10. Awww, nice to see our readers are pet lovers!

  11. Kinda OT - does anyone know what happened to our old commenter/friend Looser Dude? He hasn't posted in ages. Hope he's okay.

  12. Oh look, a camera went to Haiti so Sean Penn ran back down there and pretended like he's doing something. What on Earth would he have done if Oprah wanted to go film while he was running around Malibu with Scarlet? LOL
Bet he's already back in L.A.

  13. @Jessica - Sean Penn has spent an inordinate amount of time in Haiti since the earthquake - he's partner in a company that is doing a lot of good work there.

  14. I was thinking about him too, surfer.

  15. Zaquesha looks like John Stamos' son in that pic. They really should do a movie as father and son. Heck, Stamos should get a paternity test to see if that guy is one of his.

  16. Hello, readers.

They bought a zoo this Christmas.
I'm buying a ticket to Girl With the Dragon Tattoo this Christmas.

Paula doesn't know how a pool cue works. Someone just handed it to her and she just waved it around making lightsaber noises.

Kim Kardashian went to Haiti too. Haven't those poor people suffered enough?

Him and Ida and The Nightmare Child. I wonder about them, especially TNC, who commented some strange things.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @renoblondee & chop chop - I know. TNC used to talk about death & suicide a lot.

I went back looking for old Looser Dude posts, and couldn't find any. I wonder if he shut down his account. But he submitted his pic for last New Year's Day reveals (reader's photos). Here's the link:

  19. @reno - Ida used to post under "amotefloat," so maybe she's posting under a new name.

I think it's great when posters are in touch (off-site), so someone will always know how to contact you.

Don't want to sound morbid, but a few months ago I related a story about another group that I follow. Everyone was wondering where one of the posters was, and after a little digging, it was discovered he had died in a house fire hours after his last post.

In any case, I hope they're all okay.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I was thinking about Nightmare Child too. Probably reads the site but doesn't post.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I looooooove seeing the pictures of everyone. I miss Ida too but she got mad and swore off the site, came back for a bit and I don't think she's been back after that. Too bad. You get used to everyone's voice and contribution and start to feel like they are friends. And then you hear about losng a member of the group and it's very sad. But on a good note: Happy Holi's to everyone. Can't wait to see more pics!

  22. I love Sean Penn's politics and that he is well-informed. Too bad he is a skeezy dick where women are concerned. :(

    ReplyDelete
  23. Zac Efron might be one of the few guys who would actually become more famous if he'd come out of the closet. According to the blinds allegedly about him, he's really not hiding it. I sort of like him for that.

  24. @Reader #1 - Love your pic & your sweet pup!

@Reader #2 - Love your shirt and I am super jealous of your triple monitor set up!

I looked at Elle's dress in other pics and it just kicks out oddly...pointy. Odd.

  25. @surfer - I wondered the same about Looser Dude. He always made me laugh.

@Sherry, what did Ida get mad at? I figured it was something like that since she wasn't around. I've done that on a few sites (Celebitchy although my comment got deleted).

Thomas Haden Church got some work done. It looks bad.

Last night I saw ScarletJo's perfume ad (can't remember the brand). If she didn't have that body, I don't think she would have gained the success she did. She can't act but she's not all that pretty or likeable. Just my opinion. Maybe it's because I had just seen Charlize Theron's Dior ad. I'm a heterosexual woman but got-damn, that woman is incredible looking.

  27. @Lelaina - I know - his posts were so funny. I'd always crack up reading his stuff.

  28. Huggles to the readers!

  29. Looserdude hasn't posted since May. I wondered about him immediately, since he was usually one of the first to post on each story. That day that we "celebrated" how ever many thousand posts this blog has had, when people started wondering where others were, I wondered if anyone was going to mention Looserdude, but no one did. (That was before I had finally broken years of lurking to finally post too.) Anyway, I'm glad to see others are wondering about him. I hope we find something out. (I wonder about Drcocks too; since she once posted a scary story about a domestic abuse incident but never stated whether she was out of the relationship.)

On another blog, the mods posted yesterday about the death of a 49-year-old commenter named Rosie (but did not say what happened). It was sad, but at least no one will be wondering where she is when she no longer posts there. :(

  30. Sometimes people get overwhelmed and take breaks until they catch up. Hopefully that is all it is.

    ReplyDelete
  31. i have been wondering about all of those commenters too. looser dude was totally funny!
(BTW this is delilah...have a new email account, i am the one with the reporter boyfriend "gustavo" who did those 2 reviews a few years back-but i am not always the "unknown" poster tho...just the one who curses a lot).
i think some people have left that got all, "this is not enty anymore" and freaked that the blog has changed...

  32. This comment has been removed by the author.

  33. @Surfer, Looserdude's comments are still there; it is just awhile back. The last ones I can find are on May 19--perfectly ordinary posts: snark about Maria and Arnold's divorce, disbelief at Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen, and perceptive remarks about Jeff Conaway's fatal addiction. Then (as far as I can see) no more comments that day, and none since.

  34. Reader #2 here. Altho it doesn't show up well in the fuzzy photo, the inscription under the unicorns is "winning." I don't want to promote it without Enty's permission so I'll make it a blind instead:

I bought this shirt from one of CDaN's long time celebrity friends whom I've gotten to know thru Facebook. I should have said "gotten to know as well as you can get to know anyone thru Facebook." Said celebrity is one of the nicest, most positive and upbeat people I've ever met and I'm completely confused as to how they fit in Hollywood.

You like the way I kept the celebrity's gender secret? It's because I read Enty every day and because I'm edumacated.

  35. @WUWT - thanks. You were more thorough than I was in the search for Looser Dude. So it appears he's been AWOL for seven months. I really do hope he's okay.

Hi Delilah! You're probably right about some people being pissed, although LD didn't strike me as one of those. He seemed too laid back.

    Good work, Jerry!

    ReplyDelete
  36. NO kidding Jerry - I would love to have that shirt. I have a 3 year old girly girl who loves dinosaurs. It fits my image of her completely. I tell my husband all the time, she is going to be the only one at the digs with a pink pith helmet.

  37. Maybe the culture just feels it needs to say 'the blog has changed' but as a reader for the last 4 years, it really hasn't changed. If you go back to 2006 posts and read the 'voice' of Enty, it's the exact same halted prose. Just sometimes Enty gets dorky/pms-ish/kinda cruel but trying to be funny, and then other times he's cute affable Enty. He's moody. (not to say that he doesn't have guest posters, he totally does.) ;)

  38. I know some people get bored or pissed and leave the sites. I remember Looserdude, he had good snark and was from TX. Not everyone reads and posts from home. Earlier this year filters were set on my internet that now prevent me from accessing DListed (I cry every night!) and Radar and others. These sites are now considered either inappropriate or porn. This is always why I say do NOT bring back FFF. This could be all that happened.

Once a site gets onto one of these lists it's very hard to get off. The block lists are used by a wide variety of internets. I can imagine even libraries would use them. Sad but true.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Unknown/delilah - Good! I had wondered where you were as well!

@Jerry - I have no guesses on the celebrity friend, but thanks for posting your pic! :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. @__-__=__ - I can understand businesses (or libraries) blocking certain websites so their employees cannot access them during work hours, but how is it possible for the Internet (Internet providers) to block certain sites? I mean, this isn't a communist country.

Are you blocked at work or at home?

    ReplyDelete
  41. @AnitaMark: I think Ida felt like everyone picked on her for something she said and she stated she had had enough. That's all I remember.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Surfer, it wasn't actually being "thorough;" it's just a good memory. I wasn't posting back then, but I've been reading for a long time, and, like I said, I noticed right away when Looserdude went missing because his comments were usually first. I remembered it as "roughly May 18" so it didn't take long to find out it was actually May 19. Still a mystery.

Speaking of noticing right away, RQ hasn't posted yesterday (Tues)or today, has she? Not that I'm worried about someone after 2 days because that could be anything, just that it stands out to me when a regular voice is absent.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @WUWT? - I don't think you should be worried just yet - maybe she's away.
