Today's Blind Items

This now B list television actress on a very hit network comedy is accusing one of her co-stars of sexual assault. She says that he is constantly taking advantage of their closeness in scenes to constantly grope her breasts and other parts of her body. She has complained to the producers and threatened to walk off the show if the guy is not fired. Look for his replacement soon. I wonder how they will get rid of his character since he is prominently featured.

  1. Sofia Vergara and Ed O'Neill? I hope not because I like both of them!

  2. Hope it isn't Jeremy Sisto from suburgatory.

  3. Isn't Ed O'Neill considered to be a super nice guy? Argh. I hope your isn't right, La Pachuquita.

    Thinking....

  4. I seriously hope it's no one from Modern Family. It would be a damn shame to mess with that core cast.

  5. Maybe someone on The Office? James Spader being the guy? The girl who plays Erin? But I don't consider her B-list.

    Agree Litle Miss Smoke.

  6. Must be the Zoey Deschanel New Girl thing.

  7. Rita, Deschanel is the producer!

  8. She'd still need the other producers to back her up... No? Well, just a guess on Deschanels.

  9. I wouldn't consider New Girl a hit comedy yet. It's really funny though.

  10. Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans Jr from Happy Endings

  11. Would be funny though if it's Oleg (the kitchen guy) from 2 Broke Girls! Life imitating art:)

  12. Sofia Vergara went with Ed O'Neill and Katey Segal to his ceremony to get a star on the Walk of Fame. Would you do that if the guy was sexually harassing you?

  13. Pleeeeaaaase don't let it be anyone on Modern Family!!!

  14. I thought Big Bang too, but aren't her and Johnny Galecki broke up on the show right now?

  15. Timebob, it's funny that you say that. I don't think it's him, but I think the chemistry with the actress who plays his daughter has some underlying sexual tension.

  16. ...with regard to the father and daughter on Suburgatory.

  17. Conchata Farrell and Ashton Kutcher for the win.

  18. Wouldn't you all think the show would be newer or the actress new-ish if she's just now threatening to leave? I just don't want it to be The Office or Modern Family!

  19. It must be a major show with lots of familiarity, because sometimes the accuser is fired if the star is that recognizable and germane to the show.

  20. My first thought was Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel :-/ I really hope I'm incredibly off-base.

  21. If it was a "star" on the comedy, they'd let him get away with this crap as long as the ratings were there. So, it's got to be someone who is a secondary character but whom you see a lot of. And she has to be one of the stars if she has enough power to call this shot.
Mike and Molly - maybe the guy who plays the Mom's boyfriend?

  22. 30 Rock. Kenneth and Jenna Moroney

  23. Christina Applegate and Will Arnett from Up All Night (but I hope that I'm wrong).

  24. @not on my dollar - Christina Applegate has had a double-masectomy. Sad =( So I think your guess might be wrong.

  25. I'm thinking it's Kaley Cuoco of "Big Bang," with the groped being either Raj or Howard. It's the number two comedy on TV.

  26. I meant "groper," but my iPod keeps helpfully fixing it for me.

  27. I was thinking someone from an ensemble show. Parks & Rec came to mind first, either Rashida Jones or Aubrey Plaza, who has been EVERYWHERE lately.

The dude would be Aziz Ansari or Chris Pratt.

  28. Whoever this is, I'm looking forward to finding out! Juicy!

  29. If anyone's messing with my girls Maya & Rashida, somebody's lookin' for a bag of doodie on his doorstep!

  30. Could "prominently featured" also be a play on words? Like, maybe he has a big nose...or something. :-)

  31. Tina Fey/Alec Baldwin

  32. HBO let Martin Lawrence get away with this on his show for a long time (well, that's their corporate policy) until Tisha Campbell's husband stepped in. Suddenly Campbell and Lawrence weren't shooting any scenes together any more. The show ended shortly after and it emerged that Lawrence has serious mental problems.
