I wish more stores would that run "special sales" all the freaking time would do the same and just lower their prices to the "sale" price and leave them there until they are ready to be clearanced. I'm looking at you Kohl's.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I think Tom And Katie split right before she went to NY to do All My Sons. Remember how she looked like death warmed over and that the original story was that he was moving with her, then she went alone.
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot of sidewalk photo ops, and the whole Happy Family Thanksgiving with the Beckhams. Shes slowly regained her youth and looks now that they only have monthly togetherness photo ops.
RJ, there used to be a Canadian dept store that followed that business model (Eatons). It didn't have sales but instead its regular prices were lower. When it's biggest competitor (The Bay) would have sales on the weekend, Eatons still had better prices. Unfortunately people salivate at a sale. They'd come in with flyers from The Bay saying that the item was 40% off there and they wanted 40% off. We'd try to explain that the item was still cheaper at regular price but they wouldn't see it.

Eatons went out of business.
I have never seen Vera show so much skin. Remember when her daily uniform was black turtle neck and black slacks? I know I've asked before, but is she still married?

That picture of Vera is from a photoshoot of her new house, and it was really weird because she was obviously photoshopped into all the pictures. I hope someday reality comes back into fashion - I'm sick of all the obviously fake everything.

Tori had the baby. Her husband is holding it. Remember when he famously tweeted a photo of it and "accidently" included her breast in the photo (she had been nursing)? It would be very unlikely (not impossible) for her to be pregnant already again. I think she is finally at a healthy weight and people are so used to her being scary-skinny that it looks "big" to them. I hope she will feel comfortable at a normal weight, but she won't if people keep assuming she must be pregnant, still or again.

ReplyDeleteVera does look amazing. Last time I saw her on TV she was wearing black tights and a short skirt. I hope to look half that good at her age. You can only do so much with Photoshop.
