Sienna & Savannah Miller Quit Their Fashion Label

As much grief as I give Sienna Miller, she and her sister Savannah actually did a really good job with their clothing label Twenty8Twelve. People seemed to like it and the pair were taken seriously by people in the industry that actually matter. The other day I was having a discussion with someone about what celebrities have actually done well with their fashion lines. I am not including perfume in the discussion. I think Jessica Simpson, the Olsen twins, Gwen Stefani and the Millers would be at the top of the list. I know Nicole Richie would like to be included but I don't think she is there yet. Paris Hilton and the Kardashians would also like to be included, but that is not happening.

The Millers said they want to explore other things so they are stepping down while the team that is currently there will take over.

  1. Jovovich-Hawk was an awesome line too.

  2. Savannah doesn't look skanky like her sister.

Jessica Simpson has been successful and her purses and shoes are cute but the clothes are very cheaply made. The material is thin and the cut is skimpy. I am very curvy like JS, but much smaller and I barely fit into her clothes and they are usually found on the markdown rack where I live.

  3. Nicole Richie is just so yuck. Her hippy shit doesn't look good on anyone.
And I guess I'm the only one that didn't even know Sienna Miller had a fashion line.

  4. Maybe she wants to do different things now that she's going to be a mom. Or not.

  5. I shop at couture discount sites like Outnet.com and there is always LOTS of Twenty8Twelve stuff on sale. Lots and lots. Embarrassingly much.

  6. jessica & her advisors are genius. she licenses her name to top guns like vince camuto...no sh*t it's going to do well.

and enty, idk where you got that the sienna sisters' line is respected by those that count b/c it's rather h&m-ish...in that the quality ranges from fantastic to forever 21...and it didn't move well, nor get glowing reviews (other than what's manufactured by pr peeps who plant, and plant well)...i got comped some of it about 3 seasons ago and honestly, 'twas nothing to write home about. plus it was ugly.

  11. I'm sorry. Look at how Sienna's dressed here. What the hell is on her legs? The shoes just suck. Sienna/fashion line - that's an oxymoron to me.

  13. How many of these celebrities acutally do any of the design work for their lines? How many even know the business end of a sewing machine?

  16. Victoria Beckham, the olsen twins, gwen stefani and nicole richie have actually attractive lines.

Sienna Miller's wasnt too bad, but I wouldn't say they were very successful.

Lauren Conrad's was boring and overpriced for what it was, but still not tooo bad

Jessica's made zillions of dollars, but was all knocked off versions of ACTUAL designer merch. Gross, cheap, crap.

Don't even get me started on Paris or Kim.... You can't turn a porn-star into a fashion designer....well, at least not those two. Their sh*t was vomit inducing.

  17. Ummmmmmmm, all the left over Issac Mizrahi is at Goodwill. Seriously.

Congrats to the Millers for creating jobs for "the team". That's a good thing.
