Sophia Bush And Austin Nichols "Split"

There are stories out there that Austin Nichols and Sophia Bush are splitting after six years together. Umm, six years together as friends? Because they are sure not a couple. I think they both know One Tree Hill is mercifully ending after 23 years on the air and that keeping up the charade is much harder if you are not together 24/7 for many months of the year so they probably announced a "split." Maybe Austin and Hayden Christensen can swap partners. Austin can be with Rachel Bilson for a few years and Hayden can be with Sophia.

  1. Oh boy! Isn't he everyone's favorite guess for Toothy-Tile's sweetie pie?

  2. One Tree Hill is still on the air?! Jesus, I thought the Simpsons were around for a long time.

    These people are famous?

  5. NO! Not AN with Hayden--he's Grey Goose and belongs with Toothy!

  6. Remember when you claimed you never, ever out people?

  7. I don't think this is outing anyone. Lots of people in Hollywood have fake relationships for publicity sake, not because they're gay. But then again I think gossip is gossip and I'm okay with any of it.

  8. @Ida I thought the same thing.

  9. @Ida,
    OLDenty never outed anyone.

    However,
NEWenty does it all of the time.

  10. I looked at it as just snarky gossip.

  11. It's one thing to outright say "Hey! So-and-So is gay!" and another to drop hints, esp. hints that refer back to various & sundry blind items both here and elsewhere, that let you put 2 + 2 together. Since pretty much everyone knows that Jake & Austin are supposedly Toothy Tile & Grey Goose (I forget what Hayden's nickname is in TedLand), I wouldn't call it outing. Just my $.02, mind you...

  12. Hey I'll be his new beard! I don't need to have sex with him or kiss him, I just want to look at him, maybe stroke his stubble once in awhile. Boy is HOT.

  13. This is not "outing" him - jeez! Sure, Austin happens to be gay but MANY fake relationships in Hollywood are for promotion purposes, gay and straight. Like when Jennifer Aniston "dates" all of her co-stars. It's PR!

  14. maybe him and jake will finally go public

  15. Ditto Ida. It's pretty clear what the writer/new enty/old enty is trying to say with the comparison to Hayden C.

It's also cowardly and hypocritical. Enty says he doesn't out people, so if he is going to he should at least have the balls to say what he is actually saying. Instead he hides behind a round about way of saying it so he doesn't feel like a bad guy.

I love the site but I don't love these outing posts. This isn't the first time he has done this towards an actor.

  16. Lila, just keep him away from Rachel. I'm calling dibs on her.

  17. Lol Enty! Please, there is no reveal here. Everyone knows this about Hayden and Austin.

  18. Seriously everyone get off your high horse today....

You can't come on these gossip sites and participate in negative things and be so snoopy about other people and then choose to all of a sudden get offended when he mildly outs someone on the site.

Also since they are choosing to have a profession in the public eye than you are opening up every aspect of your life for people to discuss.

Plus Enty whether it's old or new is simply making statements and you are then making assumptions and placing your own opinions on his/her statements.

Either stay on here and take it with a grain of salt or don't be on here at all. Half these comments are funny and light and most of them are just complaining all the time it's getting old!

  19. I doubt there is anyone who reads this column who didn't already know that Austin is gay, so OF COURSE we know what Enty is saying. If we didn't already know things about Austin, it would be a lot more subtle. I'm fine with this post.

  20. Don't know who Hayden's real boyfriend is, but Austin is Jake G.'s boytoy. But Rachel is a pretty good and long lasting beard. Maybe Sophia could take some lessons from her before her next bearding gig. Acutally, Taylor Swift should take some lessons from Rachel also. Taylor's bearded for more men then Sophia and Rachael put together, but she's horrible and whiney at it.

  21. Long ago Enty outed Hayden (revealed a blind in which he was furniture shopping with his "girlfriend" not for their place but for his place with his boyfriend). I was very surprised later when Enty wrote that it's "always" been his policy that he "never" outs people.

  22. I think there's a difference between the way Perez Hilton aggressively outs people, and the way Ted C. suggests people are gay in a ridiculous way. In TedSpeak, this Austin guy is Grey Goose, right? I guess I could believe that he's Jake's BF, but according to Ted, EVERYBODY IS GAY, so it's hard for me -- personally -- to take this theory seriously.

Who knows who's actually gay? And who cares? These are human beings whose careers depend on portraying other people -- gay, straight, asexual, whatever.

I wish that we lived in a culture that views sexual orientation as some innocuous thing, but we don't. I honestly wish celebs weren't hounded about this shit.

I guess I just think it's hypocritical to have a post like this if you've claimed in the past to not engage in the same tactics used by other celeb bloggers. That's all.

  23. You guys are aware that these are just RUMORS made up by gossip columnists, right? Why did our world get smart enough to stop believing tabloids only to become stupid enough to start believing gossip blogs? Ted C. is a bitter queen (like Perez H.) who wants to ruin other people's careers because he doesn't have a decent one of his own. Do you people think anyone genuinely wants to be a no name writer whose claim to fame is making up lies? These people are basically paid to be jealous and bitter. This is as good as their careers will get.

None of you "know" who's gay and who's not in Hollywood. Your gaydar means nothing when it comes to professional actors. These people are paid millions to be other people. If you get an inkling that someone is gay, it's because they wanted you to get that vibe so you would keep guessing and stay interested. John Travolta has only had like 3-5 hit films in the last two decades but remains relevant because people are always wondering about his sexuality. Don't you think other actors have figured this out and are following his successful formula?

You would all be very disappointed to find out the truth. It isn't nearly as juicy as you all wish it was. And do you know who these so called "sources" are who give these gossip columnists all these tips? THEMSELVES! They create the whole illusion. Most of these columnists write their own questions so they can come up with so-called "clever" and sassy replies. Not everyone is gay. Not every relationship is fake. Just because you see that two people have zero chemistry from the outside doesn't mean they figure it out right away from the inside.

How would some of your relationships play out in front of the media? Heaven forbid you date someone you're not compatible with. Everyone would be crying out "fake!!" and "showmance!!!" Most of you people in comment sections are beyond rude and don't have a shred of human decency. What ever happened to being nice? Jesus...

Why are you even on this site reading if it's so lame? And why do so many of these BIs turn out to be true? If you are so high and mighty an above all this then stop wasting your time reading these comments and sites.

  25. Thinking about the feelings and well-being of others makes me high and mighty? You are exactly the kind of person these gossip sites are making a fortune off of - the immature, juvenile, mean-spirited reader who WANTS all of these bad things to be true because it makes you feel better about your life.

Blind vices are created around the negative perceptions of celebrities that already exist. Anyone can create a blind vice:

Hey gorgeous readers. I've got some (not so) surprising scoop to dish out, so sit back and get ready to swallow. Guess which notorious party girl can't seem to part ways with the white powder? My sources are telling me that this 'freaky,' 'mean girl' who's become more famous for her brushes with the law than for her film career (or lack there of) is still hanging out in all the wrong places and with all the wrong people. You can bet this hard pAArtier will be back in rehab by the end of the year.

Gee, that was hard. Now let's see if MY sources are right.

Do you really think it took much effort for Ted Casablanca to create a story around Jake Gyllenhaal's sexuality or Chris Brown's mood swings - two topics people were ALREADY discussing before he turned it into information from a "close source?" I don't get why people enjoy being mean and I never will. Gossip columnists are mean and the people who are addicted to it are mean for helping them make a profit. "But it can be fun," say the girls and the gays. Yeah, it's fun because it isn't about you. There's a word for people who think about the feelings of others. It's called empathy. We should all try it more often.

  26. You still haven't answered my question as to why you are commenting and reading the site to begin with if it so horrible and mean?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I never knew it existed until less than 12 hours ago. I got linked to this story from another site. Don't worry, you won't be seeing me around. I'm just subscribed to this topic because I'm hoping someone will genuinely explain to me the appeal of being mean for absolutely no reason. I find it psychologically fascinating when people who are hidden behind a computer screen randomly become mean to every one. If we could remain anonymous in our day to day lives, would we take this venom out into the real world and feel free to say whatever we like no matter who it hurts?

  29. Robert Scott Bean sounds like the same person who was defending Debra Messing's rep to the nth degree a while back...He was extremely curious as to why we think Debra is Coke Mom...anyone remember that?
