Ted C Blind Item

Just in case you were wondering if Sock-It-To-You Sleazewad likes to get his fists up for somebody other than his partner, we have the first-hand answer for you: Yes.

That sure is a shocker! What really is a surprise is the public venue Sock-It chose for his latest display of cave-man-like taunting:

The dumbo good-looking dude actually chose the set of his latest picture, The Brooklyn Effect, to let people know just how much he loves talking with his fists, not just his mouth.

Sleazewad's handsome—and younger and fitter—Brooklyn costar is probably considered more of a method actor than is Sock-It, who is more out-there with his emotion. Mr. Costar is a bit more cerebral, keeps to himself, has been Oscar-nominated for his coolness, both personally and professionally. Which apparently drives Sock-It absolutely cuckoo!

"You think you're better than me?," Sock-It shouted to his fellow actor on set recently. "You have a problem with me?"

And while Sock-It was blasting the poor dude with questions (not giving him a chance to answer), Sleazewad kept slamming his fist into the palm of his hand, over and over, and then he kept striking the air wildly, as if a human target was going to be next in a matter of seconds.

But, even though Sock-It kept escalating his voice, and pounding his fists even harder, Mr Costar held steady, never quavered or said a word. Damn, that boy's got not just abs of steel, but, nerves, too!

Meanwhile, film's producers were terrified and ran to the hair and makeup trailers for cover.

All we have to say is that Sock-It's poor woman at home must have ear plugs permanently imbedded in her ears. Now, if only she'd dump this jerk!

And It Ain't: Jensen Ackles, Chris Brown, Robert Pattinson

  1. The co-star sounds like could be Ryan Gosling. What's he working on right now...anything with Sean Penn?

  2. ...or Russell Crowe?

  3. Oh, look: Ryan Gosling just finished filming the Gangster Squad with both Sean Penn and Josh Brolin.

I vote Josh Brolin as Sock-It.

  4. The previous blind pointed to Josh Brolin, who is filming Gangster Squad with Ryan Gosling.

  5. Great minds think alike ecua :)

  6. Ray Liotta - movie being The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling?

  7. Yeah, I like the popular guess at AT of Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling during Gangster Squad.
What about the Russell Crowe/Henry Cavill on Superman one also. Is Russell already a BV star?

  8. Gosling's not an Oscar nom, is he?

  9. @Stephanie: He was nominated once before I believe.

  10. And I have to say I would hate if this were Josh Brolin, cause that would mean Diane Lane was married to an abusive creep.

  11. Yep, I second the Ryan Gosling/Josh Brolin guess. However, if Sean had a woman at home, I'd switch Brolin out for Penn.

  12. Sock-It- Josh B
    Mr. Costar- Ryan G
Who is Sleazewad? "handsome—and younger and fitter"

  13. @NernersHuman Josh Brolin is a confirmed abuser, already had one case against him

  14. Ah see, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info, @Chris.

@SNAP, I think Sock It and Sleazewad are the same person, Ted just interchanged the names periodically.

  15. Oh Okay....Then Josh and Ryan G!!!! Thanks NernersHuman!

  16. brolin, blah blah blabbity blah.

  17. I got this one!
    Sock-it Sleazewad is Christian Bale
    Mr Costar is Ryan Gosling
    Film is Lawless

  18. Diane Lane has called the cops on Josh Brolin before for DV but she might have dropped the charges.

  19. Gosling for sure is the co star, I think Josh Brolin fits "dumbo good looking" pretty well. Penn is single right now, and I know about Bale's extreme temper and shouting, but never heard of him beating his wife.

RG was nominated for Half Nelson in 2007 - Oscar, SAG and a few others.

  21. @Snap Sock-it IS Sleazewad.

@Dex I thought so too but Lawless is in PRE-production. It doesn't start filming until the fall so it can't be the both of them although I could see Bale being Sleazewad but his 2 latest films are still listed as Pre-Production and only 1 of them has a male co-star listed, Lawless.

  22. Hmmm, the blind doesn't necesarily say he's physically abusive, just verbally so I wouldn't discount Bale just yet. He mentioned earplugs and him being a general a$$ but not clear on physical abuse. I'm more conflicted now. . .

  23. Isn't Henry Cavill playing Superman? The "abs of steel" fits with him.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Brolin/Gosling

Gosling has been nominated for an Oscar twice.

Diane Lane pressed and dropped abuse charges against Brolin.

I don't think this is Penn because it reads as if Sock-It is married or living with someone.

  25. I'm aboard the Brolin/Gosling train.

It's not Bale/Gosling because Lawless won't start shooting until this coming Fall. Also, it said that the co-star is more method than Sock-it and Bale is definitely more method than Gosling.

  26. just to be different: Fassbender?Didn't he beat up his girlfriend?

  27. i agree with msgirl on the abs of steel thing i say henry cavill and bruce willis cause i dont think of josh brolin as the super good looking i think bruce willis is more known for his looks than brolin

    1. No way can I see Brucey Boy as better looking than Brolin. And while BB plays tough guys Brolin has a history of violence.IMHO.

  28. Brolin/Gosling on Gangster Squad's set

Cavill never was nod for Oscar so it's not Man Of Steel set
it's not Bale/Gosling because LAWLESS will be only in pre-production and Bale is more method than Gosling

  29. IMDb's synopsis for GANGSTER SQUAD:

A chronicle of the LAPD's fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s.

  30. Bale has never been accused of any domestic battery against his wife as far as Im aware.

I like the Brolin/Gosling guess. Gosling trains MMA so I think hed be capable of protecting himself.

    ReplyDelete
  31. My first thought was Sean Penn, then Gosling for the young guy, and sure enough, they've made a movie together. However, I like the Brolin guess better. Though both Penn and Brolin have reputations for being hot-headed women abusers, Brolin seems a little more neanderthal than Penn for some reason. Poor Diane Lane!

  33. Brolin/Gosling.

It's not Bale, because he is DEFINITELY a big time method actor. Remember him eating nothing but apples and dropping to 120 lbs for the Machinist? Cavill's never been oscar nominated, and Bruce Willis has never been known for his looks, but as an action star. Josh Brolin was a teen idol in the 80's. Tons of girls had his picture on their wall in the mid 80's, and with his history of suspected domestic abuse, he totally fits.

  34. Brooklyn refers to Gosling's Oscar nom for "Half Nielsen" which takes place in Brooklyn.

  35. I read this blind and had NO IDEA except pictured Gosling as the co-star. Then I come here and see I am on point with you guys.

Love the mental image of Gosling holding his cool in the face of a raging douchebag, good for him. : )

  36. Also - quick note: it calls the guy "dumbo" and Sean Penn may be many things but "dumb" is not one of them.
