You’ll never see this C list television actress in a sleeveless shirt or a tank top. She tells people that she covers up her arms for religious reasons, but it’s because she’s a cutter and has been for years. She has many scars on the insides of her arms.

ReplyDeleteOn "Smash" last night Katherine McPhee was the only dancer in a long-sleeved shirt -- and a major plot point was that the room where they were working was overheated. But she had a sleeveless dress in the bar mitzvah scene (don't ask - oy) last week. So what do I know?

ReplyDeleteMayim is B at least, I would think. (She's really an A in my book, but that's neither here nor there.) And she seems to be very happy, healthy, and together, so I doubt it's her.

ReplyDeleteMayim, as much as I love her (and have since 1991 when Blossom premiered...and probably before since she expertly played a young Bette Midler in Beaches) is not B list. I mean, she probably should be, but she's not.
ReplyDeleteWhoever it is should own up to it and get help. Shes not the only one by far with this problem, and shld try getting help. Its nothing to be ashamed of- Bette Midler said it best',"we all have a fried egg on our heads!"

ReplyDeleteMayim Bialik always wears sleeves bc she is an observant jew. But she'll wear cap sleeves etc, just always sleeves.

I hope it's not Marie Osmond (because of the Mormon underwear thing). She's had so many issues. Has she gone sleeveless or tank top? I know a lot of her TV costumes had that nude backing that made it look revealing when it wasn't.
ReplyDeletei agree with @auntliddy whoever this is she shouldn't be ashamed of it. I hope this person does get help. (Though i understand that a lot of people will judge her without understanding what makes someone a cutter.)
