Four For Friday - Kindness

I thought today would be a good day to write about a kindness. I also want to tell you that if you do not know by now, that on Saturdays I do a reveal from my archives of blinds. Also, if you have Twitter and want to follow me you can just click that button over there-------> somewhere. On Twitter, I talk more about my life and also post blind items that I don't post here.

There has been so much drama about horrible actors here this week, that I thought I would tell you about one of the good ones. Oh, he has his faults, but he definitely makes an effort to help others. He is an A lister on television on a very hit show and was in one of the best and most popular movies of the year last year.

Anyway, without any publicity on his part, our actor has made arrangements to purchase 25 tickets to each Lakers and Clippers game to give a chance for impoverished children and their families to attend games which they would otherwise be unable to do. He and his partner also founded an organization which provides after school activities in the arts like music, ballet and drama classes for kids after school. They pay for all the salaries of the instructors and any supplies needed by the kids are also paid for through their efforts.

They have made sure these kids and families have school supplies, Christmas presents and have even paid for birthdays for over a hundred children. The great thing about this, is they have done it all quietly without asking or seeking any attention for their actions.

  3. oops Transformers was just popular ...not the best haha

    ReplyDelete
  4. Jon Hamm? TV - Madmen, Movie - Bridesmaids.

    ReplyDelete
  5. BTW, thank you for a kindness blind!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Jon Hamm is a great guess!!! Change my vote to that!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Jon Hamm - Bridesmaids

    Bryan Cranston - Drive

    ReplyDelete
  8. I agree with tigercat that's a great guess and he seems like the kind of guy who would do something like that

    ReplyDelete
  9. Anonymous1:30 PM

    I vote for Hamm too.

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is def Jon Hamm. He is spotted at Lakers games all the time

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thank you for the kindness blind Enty, it's been a tough week on the blind front.

Can I just add that I really hope all the furore over the last couple of weeks doesn't fundamentally change the funny but respectful type of people who are drawn to CDAN.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I like the Jon Hamm guess because "partner" immediately made me think of Jennifer Westfeldt (unless it means business partner, in which case never mind).

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, Hamm fits all the clues and is known to be super nice.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jon Hamm popped into my mind too, but he doesn't have any faults! I'm certain he's perfect! I kid. I do think it's Jon Hamm though. Love him!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Neil Patrick Harris.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jon was also a high school drama teacher (ladies, can you IMAGINE? *fans self*) back in the day, so I think he's got loyalty towards people who teach the arts. This one is totally about him and Jennifer Westfeldt.

Doesn't surprise me. One of the reasons why I have such a ladyboner for him is b/c of his awesome rep.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother)? He was in some movies last year.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I just read about the missing actress. How sad on the heals of yesterday's topics. Thanks for posting this kindness. I feel clean again.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Erin -- Jon H. supposedly loves booze the way Don D. definitely loves...booze.

So that might be the "fault" Enty was referring to -- but I agree. Homeboy is still flawless in my eyes. :-)

  20. Anonymous1:37 PM

    jon hamn, Mad Men, Bridesmaids

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jon Hamm. Because I love him, he's super-nice, and what Ida said.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Grey I didn't know he frequented Lakers games but if he does, that seals it for me. There are a few other t.v. men I can think of with 2011 movies but none I would consider A-List and their movies weren't as popular as Bridesmaids.

    ReplyDelete
  23. and yes, Enty bless you for the Kindness Blind...let's have more of them!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm happy that the week ended with a kindness. And I agree that it is Jon Hamm. He seems like the very rare real good guy.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I like the Jon Hamm guess; stayng with JH, I'll add Josh Holloway- Lost and Mis. Impossible

    ReplyDelete
  26. Jon Hamm is my best guess. Mad Men for the hit tv show, and Bridesmaids pulverised the 2011 Box office.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hey guys, just saw this on Jezebel.http://jezebel.com/5893876/celebrity-tattletale-is-not-robert-downey-jr-says-robert-downey-jr

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm guessing NPH too.

In other news, I totally missed out on Himmmm's postings yesterday and now they've been removed.

    I'm totally devastated. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  29. Another vote for Jon Hamm and his awesomeness.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yup. Jumping on the Jon Hamm train (I wish literally).

    ReplyDelete
  31. I too would like to jump on John Hamm and vote for NPH cuz of that partner thang mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  32. This is really great and all, and I have to admit I'm not the best at math but ....

Where's the other 3 of the "Four for"? :-(

    ReplyDelete
  33. Jon Hamm...without reading the comments above. I'm sure everyone else got it!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thanks Amy, Jeff and the Kimchis. Quick find.

For the rest of you, the nutshell version:

We contacted Robert Downey Jr.'s rep who said, "Not only does [Robert Downey Jr.] not have anything to do with this, he was not even aware that it was going on." Perhaps what's funniest about this whole thing is that RDJ is not bothered by the fact that people would think he was an internet gossip, but that the imposter would go about it so poorly. "Robert's a much better writer than that," his rep said.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jon Hamm -- also because of the "partner" clue.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ nunaurbiz I also thought that then ... i realised 1. Jon Hamm 2. His partner - Jennifer Westveld
    3. His TV show Mad men and 4. His movie that was a huge hit last year Bridesmaid ... and TA DA

    ReplyDelete
  37. gotta love the good guys (and gals)

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Twinkle: Ah ... thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hunter
Himmmm's posts were reposted on page 5 of the comments, somewhere in the upper 800's. He needed to make an edit and remove the phone number he had posted.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Did I miss something or is there only one for Friday instead of Four?

    ReplyDelete
  41. ITA with others plus after all the darkness of this truly crazy week, thanks for the kindness!

OT: @Tigercat: thanks for the nutshell (but if RDJ wanted to stay semi-anon what's his rep supposed to say?)

  43. I love that this definitely sounds like my man Jon Hamm!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jon Hamm is a great guess and fits all the clues. Plus, he and his partner aren't married, so that falls into place as well.

I didn't comment yesterday, but no way do I think Himmm is RDJ. I mean, I doubt RDJ has time for such pursuits and wouldn't out himself so blatantly if he did.

That being said, well done Enty and Himmm!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thanks for the kindness, enty! Agree with previous posters - much needed after the drama llama that was this week in internet gossip!

I would never have guessed Jon Hamm, because I never guess any blind items correctly...*L*

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm with @Dana and want to jump on Hamm. I mean, the Hamm train.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hamm totally fits, but my first guess was going to be Jason Segel (if partner means business partner).

    ReplyDelete
  48. On the OT Topic... :D I'm not going to vote either way, but I find it interesting the rep said it couldnt be RDJ because it was so poorly written... If anything Himmmm does not seem to write poorly[?!] -- more than most other blogs, I think we are a little picky about our grammar.

    ReplyDelete
  49. PS Glad to see you back RQ hope the little one is letting you get some sleep!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Agree that it is Jon Hamm. I enjoy these Kind Blinds and would love to see more of them.

Himmmm, please come back! Love your posts.

All CDAN readers, y'all are just wonderful people. Hope y'all have a good weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Really glad for the good news, ditto on Jon Hamm.
To @ RocketQueen, I shouldn't have asked the babies name, sorry. A little thinking would have led me to RocketGirl. Hope you're well on the mend.

    ReplyDelete
  52. PS, although I'm a bit skeptical of all of this Himmmmm stuff lately I guess it is important to note that Jon Hamm is listed on Himmmm's list of 36 celebrities who are great people

So is NPH but I still think it's Hamm

I'm Robert Downey Jr.! Look at me!

  55. Ooooo, IdaBlankenship--

I am totally stealing "ladyboner" from you.

Just disclosing this fact up front...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Anonymous2:40 PM

Someone posted yesterday re: Himmmm's identity saying something like "He was in Sixteen Candles" and she knew he was destined for greatness... WTF was that all about? Anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  57. As if any of us can't write better than we do here in (ahem) GOSSIP BLOG comments.

    And...WTH, Marisa?

I second the thanks to Enty for a Kindness. I didn't want to go into the weekend feeling so mad and sad.

Of course the Japan tsunami is going to have some impact of its own... But I live in Hurricane Alley so we unfortunately tend to get jaded on the destruction stuff, just very rarely any deaths associated with it all. Prayers for them all over there in the land of the rising sun. May it continue to rise.

    Love y'all!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I missed himmm's blind yesterday!

I feel like he could be Emilio Estevez or someone like that.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Anonymous2:52 PM

Surely NPH Smurfs was an excellent film :)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I just had a little vision of all these commenters popping up like in "Spartacus"; "I'm Robert Downey Jr! I'M Robert Downey Jr!".

Perhaps mentioning Spartacus was in poor taste. But that's what I'm all about, you guys.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Love the kindness posts.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I read the Jezebel article (thanks for the tip/link, A, J, and the Kimchis) and we've been called suckahs before, here on CDAN.

Maybe we are idiots but I was entertained as hell this past week! Beats watching TV for me!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thank you for the kindness blind.

I don't care who it is, bless him for doing this. Reassuring to know that there are people who care about others in this world and crazy society we live in today.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Seriously tearing up over here. More kindness blinds, celebrities! Go out there and do good so Enty can brag on you to us!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Jon Hamm was a drama teacher at John Burroughs in St. Louis, so it does fit.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Can anyone help me get to Himmmm's posts from yesterday?
In the BI Pregnancies thread, I saw his first post stating he'd be back in a couple hours, but can't find any further postings.
For some reason, even though it says there are over 1000 comments on that thread, I can only view the first 200.
Any help would really be appreciated!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Im content thinking Himmmm was, well, HIM.

I dont need the bitchy commentators who trolled here yesterday to try to make me feel stupid. Its obviously someone who is in the know.

Glad it seems to be the regulars again in the comments
I know im new to actually posting, but i have been reading this site for years. Im just glad no one has attacked me yet! Lol!

    And Jon Hamm is yummy!

    ReplyDelete
  70. @ Miaspeople - go to Jezebel, they have screenshots of the posts.

And, for the newbies on this blog, yes, Four for Friday usually means there are four people involved in the blinds. Perhaps Enty just made a mistake on this headline.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Add me to the list of people who are grateful for a Kindness blind after all the sickness we've read about lately.

    ReplyDelete
  72. What about Steve Carell and his wife? He was in Crazy, Stupid Love last year and was on the Office.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm with Mutiny. I'd love to know the identity(ies) of Himmmm but will be fine if we never find out. I just relish reading his posts and hope they continue tbqh. I get the feeling that what gets disclosed generally is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of perfidy and exploitation around big business, whether it's entertainment or anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I said the other day I didn't think he was RDJ. I was convinced he was yesterday, I admit. Even dug out my copy of "Two Girls And A Guy" and watched a bit of it last night. There is a commentary on there between RDJ and NGW and they knew each other from back in the early 90's. Been digging out some old magazine interviews with RDJ from old Premiere mags and others, Himmmm's writing style doesn't match with RDJ's persona. I'd love for Himmmm to come back and clear some of this up.

I see it got even crazier when I left yesterday. LoL. Oh, the theories were certainly flying. One or two commenters thought I might even be Rita. LOL. I don't know what to say to that. Unless Rita is a 29 year old single male that has nightly fantasies about Frieda Pinto and Megan Fox I can assure you readers that I'm not her.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Oh, and also I love kindness blinds and agree with the Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westveldt guess. Good on them!

    ReplyDelete
  76. LOL @ Ida "ladyboner!" Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yay a kindness blind! This is so cool of him. I hope he has a successful future whoever it is. I hope it's John Hamm.

We need to start paying more attention to good celebrities.

    ReplyDelete
  78. NPH at least I hope it is, just love him

    ReplyDelete
  79. 1) I love Jon Hamm
    2) How do I get the comments window to show more than 200 comments? Does anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Jon Hamm was also at Himmmm's nice people list.

    So was NPH.

Oh well, either of them, it's just one more reason to love them, awesome people.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I skipped right to the comments section, so sorry if I'm a repeat. BUT, I think this could be Hamm! I'm pretty positive he used to be an English Teacher. And he's not married, hence the partner.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Anonymous3:57 PM

NPH's biggest movie last year was Smurfs and it has a whopping 23% on Rotten Tomatoes, so it's not him.

I'll give this one to Jon Hamm although if Hangover II had of been better liked, I'd guess Ed Helms, he seems like a nice guy.

Regardless, that's a great thing to do. Have you ever been to an arena for a sporting event? $20 for a hot dog, (flat) soft drink and terrible fries. I don't know how families can afford it.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I choose to believe this is John Hamm *and* NPH. I know it has to be one or the other (or someone else entirely) but until this one is revealed I'm happy believing good of both of them / their partners. Kindness blinds are my favorites.

Re: himmmm, I'm going with "bellhop at Chateau Marmont" identity theory because that makes me smile. The skeptic in me says "long con" but something about himmmm's posts read sincere -- at least re: surviving addiction & wanting abusive assholes outed.

    ReplyDelete
  85. For all you John / Jon Favreau conspiracy theorists, I do know it's JON Hamm. My iPhone disagrees.

    ReplyDelete
  86. It's Ryan O'Neal, obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  87. these are the items that should not be BLIND. An A lister who does something like this needs to be known and given credit for it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I'm on the Jon Hamm bandwagon as well...

    *Sigh* I totally miss himmmm...

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks for the Kindness @Enty.

Got done reading the gigantic thread from yesterday - my goodness. Left comment #1073, lol. Mentioned a couple of you in it. I have a feeling this blog is about to blow up.

  92. Gary T., Enty always reveals the Kindness blinds; he just likes to give us a chance to guess, because he knows how much we like to play detective. I have no doubt that this will be revealed on July 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  93. For the people asking, there's an explanation on the top left of the page as to how to see more than 200 comments. Clicking the comments link will not be able to load all 1,000+ comments; it's some kind of Blogger glitch.

    ReplyDelete
  94. It has to be Jon Hamm - all the clues point that way at least. I don't usually comment but I have to say I stumbled across here a couple of years ago and was instantly hooked, you all are fantastic sleuths with great wit and generally just the right amount of snark when befitting. I will be happy when/if things get back to normal.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Dunno, seemed to me like NPH. Especially with the kids angle.
Mooshki, having been here from the beginning I can assure you he doesn't always reveal the kindness blinds. He checks with the people (or their reps) first and gauges the reaction. Some people honestly do want to keep their good deeds secret.

    ReplyDelete
  96. whomever it is, I'm thankful that they are out there. What a gift to those kids!

Longtime creeper, first time commenter (love you guys, btw—sometimes you steal the show from Enty!). It’s Jim Parsons. Big Bang is very hit indeed, and he had a well-received cameo in the Muppets movie. You’re welcome.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Either

John Hamm from Mad Men on TV and Bridesmaids on film.

    Or

Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother on TV and Smurfs movie on film

I don't think Smurfs was that big so maybe not NPH.

  100. Bex,
    Welcome!
I'm not convinced Jim Parsons could be called an A-lister, though. I had to look him up to see who he was, even though I've watched Big Bang Theory on occasion. I don't think he has the kind of name recognition you need to be considered A list...

    ReplyDelete
  101. Loving a kindness for today, Jon Hamm seems to fit and I am with selenakyle, this site has been way better than any television out there!

    ReplyDelete
  102. surfer is there any possible polite way I could ask you to delete that?
The only reason being that if we ever want himmmm to post again (no matter who he is) outing him will assure the opposite.
I have no idea who he is but I also have zero interest in implicating people he may (or may not) know with sharing on this site

    ReplyDelete
  103. Crap. I meant may (or may not) be.

    Screw it. It's Friday

    ReplyDelete
  104. Sounds like Jon Hamm to me.

    I love the Kindness blinds.

  108. I love the "ladyboner" comment.thanks for the laugh..and I too will miss himmmm if he stays away..Have been lurking for many years, I never can figure out who it is, but enjoy watching everyone else guess..

  109. The most recent Harold and Kumar movie was out last year. Did NPH reprise his role in that?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Love this so much! Thank you for a kindness after all the other not so kind blinds.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Re Jim Parsons - he's won 2 Emmys, was nominated for a third and has won a Golden Globe. Definitely A List when it comes to TV.

Don't know who this is, though. Wasn't Hamm listed among the good people in Hollywood?

I'd just like to add a thought here. After the revelations of the last little while, we should start being more selective about where and how we spend our entertainment dollars. Hollywood only understands the language of money, so let's send a message using (or *not* using) our wallets, as the case may be.

    1. I couldn't agree more, vega. In addition to boycotting certain movies/tv shows I think we should start to boycott "Nuero Water" and "Melissa Odabash" products. They are, afterall, products made by companies owned by Diana Jenkins. Ick. Seeing pix of Hayden P. disembarking a yacht after a Diana J. "party" with bruises all over her--clutching her"Nuero water" and "Melissa Odabash" swag bags was just gross. Eff ALL Diana Jenkins products/endeavours.

  112. For the people confused (or being sarcastic) about the 4 for friday. Sometimes its 5, sometimes its 3, today its one. Two if you want to guess the partner. We used to have full frontal Fridays too. Man I miss that.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Espartacus, Lol.

I think NPH is a great guy, but this doesn't fit for him. In no way was Smurfs one of the biggest movies of the years. I know, I saw it.

Ellie Kemper, the girl who plays Erin on The Office was one of Jon Hamm's students.

I find it so amusing that the rest of the internet seems to care so much about himmmm when for the last few years we've never cared. They can laugh at us all they want. We've got the better posters and the better blogger. Nobody knows who any of us are.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I've been an occasional reader/lurker. But don't you think it would be very strange if Himmmm was RDJ since he just had a newborn last month? Wouldn't he be busy helping to take care of the baby and his wife? Having a child, no matter how famous you are equals sleepless nights, no time to yourself. Especially not on a gossip site! Just saying...I think Himmmm is probably very much an insider in the business, but decided to run with it when everyone started guessing RDJ and just keep letting people think it was him. Especially with leaving hints.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Vega, great idea!!! We might end up having to do some kind of online petition about boycotting certain people as well, because the media sure focuses on the wrong part of this story.

Mykickapoo, that would be a very smart thing to do. And I bet RDJ would let the Himmmm team use his name for deflection, seeing as he saved young Corey Haim from his parents by letting Corey live with him and Sarah Jessica Parker for awhile. (And hello to Peter Weller.)

The idiots calling us idiots haven't been here for years interacting with Himmmm, and don't understand that there is a confirmed endgame (They're also terrible judges of character...if they think Herrrr was insincere, I've got some 2001 internet stock to sell them).

Corey Haim died on March 10, 2010 and his funeral was March 16, 2010. Pretty crazy week, kinda like the one we just had over the same dates, eh? What a weird and plausibly deniable coincidence.

Whoever the Himmmm team is comprised of, I do believe they were friends/costars/roommates of Corey Haim, who overdosed due to addictions that began after he was molested in Hollywood. I think the years of chess we've all been playing with Himmmms will lead to capturing the Queen: The "Hollywood mogul" who molested Corey when he was fourteen (and undoubtedly many more kids since.). Corey Feldman said he wasn't powerful enough to reveal "Hollywood's Biggest Secret" by himself, and whoever did would lose their career and endanger the safety of their family. But what if a team of pissed off creative types who grew up together throughout the 80s and 90s formed a justice league? One with interchangeable members who could switch writing tones, have different expertises, throw suspicions off... Hmmmmm... Would that be enough deniable plausibility to bring down Hollywood's supervillain and stop further hydras from growing? It would be a huge risk and take some brave and bold heroes. But it would change Hollywood forever.

No I don't know any of the awesome himmmm superteam members...I'm just a longtime CDaN reader, comic book junkie, and amateur seamus who is adding up their brilliant clues. I can't play chess for shit, but I'm gifted at seeing military strategies and gestalts. You have to be to run a movie set.

When our superheroes reopen this case, the interesting fallout of the himmmm team reveal will be who has been protecting and hiring this devil since the 1980s. Especially since so many people knew.

Oh hey, in other news, RDJ was fired from a movie yesterday afternoon without even the normal courtesy of a "creative differences" press quote in the trades. Hollywood Reporter 3/15/12 5:55pm. It was Spielberg's company, Dreamworks.

Anyone hear yet if RFO will be returning to BONES, or how Kirk Douglas slept last night? Sure would be refreshing if Gawker etc. focused on that.

Great googly moogley I haven't slept in days. I'm off to bed.

  116. And while I'm now registered and able to comment, Enty to me really sounds like he is a she. I guess just because of his moral compass, and also because it's just implausible that he really could be a 400 lb divorced man and actually make jokes about it. I mean, really, would a man make jokes at his own expense? I think Enty seems like someone in the entertainment field but not a lawyer. Most of the lawyers I know just don't have the time to post this much. I still think Enty's doing a great job, and I love the outing of total losers and scumbags in the industry. Idol worship really needs to stop! I love even more the kindness items!

  118. @mykickapoo: to be honest, newborns aren't a ton of work... they sleep SO much of the time, and when they're awake, they just hang out. I had twins, and for the first 3 months of their lives, I had PLENTY of free time (now that they're 2, not so much, lol).
Just had to pop on and post that, because I don't think RDJ having a newborn is a good enough reason for saying he couldn't be himmmm

  120. Kid sis, I would love for readers to figure out who the Queen evil molester is and eventually for him to get prosecuted for all of the horrible things he's done to people. It's so sad that the people who got abused were to scared to speak out and had to endure so much emotional turmoil. I really hate pedophiles/abusers more than anything else in the world (except maybe murderers).

My best friend was abused by her stepfather and even though she is successful, beautiful and always has a happy face his actions destroyed her self esteem and made her feel worthless her entire life. Her stepfather passed years ago and she is still haunted to the point of feeling so ashamed she confessed to me she had suicidal thoughts. I am so glad I was her shoulder to lean on. There's not that much more I can do besides be a friend and encourage her to go to counseling.

All these years and I never knew about it until recently. My husband never suspected anything about her, she puts on a happy face. And she is a great friend and she adores my daughter. I feel like her childhood experience really robbed her of the right building blocks for a successful relationship. I hope that she can meet someone that she can open up to and trust eventually.

    @Julie, when I had my daughter I didn't sleep for 2 yrs! And she's only 3 now and I still don't sleep much. :)

I don't care who this blind is about, I'm just happy to hear of someone from the entertainment industry having a generous heart and doing these things. I'd like to hear more blinds of this nature. Feel I've over-indulged in the smut and it's put me out of balance a bit!

  124. Is anyone still interested in the The Secret blind? Because I'm kind of obsessed with figuring out the B-list attacker, and I'd like some input.

I'm assuming JLH is the actress keeping the secret. I found a set of photos of her from the Project Runway Show at New York Fashion Week, Sept 9, 2011. She looks uncharacteristically upset or distracted in most of these photos. Going on the assumption that this is the "red carpet event" where she saw him unexpectedly, I searched on what other celebs were at this event. I only came up with one person who comes close to fitting the bill for the B-list attacker.... Thomas Jane.

    What do y'all think...??

  126. KidSis, I didn't know Peter Weller was such an ass.

Re Martin Weiss - remember that pedophiles seem to operate in a secret circle with other pedophiles, sharing victims, so it might be instructive to look at who he's affiliated with in business.

For instance, this article (http://articles.latimes.com/2011/dec/01/business/la-fi-ct-molest-arrest-20111201) mentions his connection to iCarly, which leads us right back to Dan Schneider.

  127. Kid Sis, thank you so much for your post. I read the links you attached and just really feel sick for what these kids have to endure. Corey Haim's Wiki page was just a horrible read and I kept wondering how many of these child stars have been through similar things. My guess is a huge percentage. This comment made me ill:

Watchers director Jon Hess recalled: "Certainly people knew about his addiction. To see somebody so young and with so much talent already be chased by those demons was hard."

Yeah, I bet. These Hollywood directors, producers, agents, etc...build these kids up and then when they ruin them or the kid is not useful anymore they just toss them aside and act like "oops the poor kid just couldn't hack it" F*uck all of them. After reading everything here this week and all of the links you provided, I am just completely disgusted.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Thanks for posting that article @vega. I've been trying to read up on him. He seems to get away with molesting so many kids because Disney and Nickelodeon don't want to lose any money.

@mykickapoo, I don't think anyone really believes that Enty is 400lbs and living in his parent's basement with 3 or 4 ex-wives. I could buy 2 exes but no basement and not 400lbs.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Honestly, it's my pleasure. Thank you for being a community that cares and wants to stop this once and for all. There are other commenters out there too on different sites...it's time for people to find their voices. Did you see Ali Landry found hers???

Ali Landry on leaving Mario Lopez:

And WTF, is this the Dan Schneider of SBTB running this Cosmoetica site and writing suspicious articles like this one? http://www.cosmoetica.com/B126-DES77.htm
I suspect it as as this person rampantly watches movies and dissects them like an insider. http://www.cosmoetica.com/Schneider%20Online.htm

Detectives, keep thinking about EVERYONE Himmms and Enty have mentioned...and how incest and pedophilia are conducted by rings of friends and families who perpetuate the cycle generation after generation. It's also really helpful to look at who committed suicide. Who was effed up on drugs and alcohol at a young age. Which women keep dating serial rapists and people who punch them. Is it because daddy or uncle did it too? Which women talk in the high voice of someone who has been molested and not developed past that age?

There are a lot of nuts on the web (avoid the boards with paranoid religious commenters who think Hollywood is full of witches and Free Masons). But you can also find people who are pretty convincing about having witnessed bad behavior on set and off and are sticking up for the lost boys.

If you work backwards starting with victims who have identified themselves like Tatum, Mackenzie Philips, and Corey Haim...Start adding in Brad Renfro's suicide with a dash of saved by the bell... A pinch of people who were hanging out with Roman Polanski regularly like the Anjelica and John Huston. Huston's friends and people he hired for his movies included several pedophiles and murderers (Man Ray, Steve Hodel, Fred Sexton) and even the NY Times has said if Huston wasn't involved in the Black Dahlia murder, he probably knew who did (Um...American Horror fans...check out this article about the abortionist doctor: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/05/18/books/la-confidential.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm).

And then there's Natalie. Circles of people who work together and groom each other's children in a very small industry.

Also, I LOVE men...but it is always wise to make sure men who happen to work with children (or in children's fields like animation) have been vetted.

Interesting whispers you can find without hardly digging at all:

I think you nailed it with the Corey Haim thing. That all started shaping up for me yesterday. Much as I loved them, I have to admit they don't sound like RDJ does when he speaks. They DO sound like, well, Corey Feldman, but he doesn't have a new baby.

Agree with you 100% on boycotting certain media. Sports figures are BANNED FROM THEIR INDUSTRY for taking steroids - which they do to themselves. These assholes who do horrible things to children should suffer the same punishment (after they get out of jail, that is).

  133. @Kid Sis, Remember when Andrew Koenig (Boner from Growing Pains) committed suicide? Well there is some controversy in the Lipstick Alley thread about CDAN/Hayden. It's a couple weeks old, I'm still trying to get through it. I guess back in 2009 someone name star child made accusations and though the time line is different, some think it was him changing the dates to stay anonymous. I'll copy a summary:

The person at the end of that thread said they were the son of a famous actor that nobody would believe is a pervert. They said their dad and his famous male friends would gather in their basement and gang sex a little girl, then make him and the girl have sex and they would watch. He wasn't even a teenager he said at the time. The men would also be allowed to have sex with him. His mother looked the other way like it wasn't happening. He was fearful of naming his dad and the other posters tried to guess who the dad was. He stopped posting suddenly and some speculated he had been killed because he said they would kill him if they knew he told the stories.

    Another summary:

Well i can explain the Starchild thing a bit cause I have been reading that thread over there since it was linked here.. So people basically put 2 and 2 together due to a couple of basic clues... He admitted to his father being an older star, that it would be surprising to people if they found out, he told a story about loving the nature and animals and the park, and he also said that he loved to run. The main discrepency was that he claimed to be in his mid 20s which Andrew was not. Now, I haven't made it all the way through the thread, I'm 2/3 the way, but starchild did say that if his father found out he was the one telling the secrets that he would surely be killed. Also, he says that if we hear about a former child star found dead up in the hills, it's probably him and it was more than likely for a reason. Lastly, Andrew was found in the park (that he apparently loved), and he had gone missing yet his atm cards were still being used up until the day he died... he also left a pair of running shoes on his front porch and many at the site believe that was his way of signaling that he was starchild since he had previously mentioned being a runner at length.. that's all I've deducted so far, but I totally believe starchild=andrew and eerily his father is the one that "found him" in the park.. yikes...

@Kid Sis @Vega @Rose thanks for posting and totally agree. I'm gonna watch where I spend my money. These actors were my childhood crushes and to think all this was going on behind the scenes and no one cared. That's what is most upsetting to me. No one stood up for them. So good for Himmmm for shining the light on this and making us all aware. That's the only way things will ever change.

I was so happy to see @enty post a positive blind today. Spirit lifting!!! Though I realized I must be the only person in the universe who doesn't watch Mad Men. Had no idea about Dreamy JH!

  135. I went back and read the explanation of the four people who comprised Himmmm (posted by Himmmm). Remembered him saying he had a pal from WAY old Hollywood - I immediately thought of Tony Goldwyn, born in 1960. Just noticed at the bottom of that post it says, 'thanks TG for taking one for the team'.

    ReplyDelete
  136. You guys are amazing. <3

Happy, exactly! I'm on IMDb looking at our suspects' resumes and they're still working!!

Rose, that Starchild info is chilling...I hadn't heard that, this is the only site I come to. Please keep us informed what they uncover at Lipstick Alley cause WOW. The father abuse thing sounds like eerily like a different story I ran across of a famous animator who babysat kids in the neighborhood and made them do things to each other while he filmed it, and the kids had parents in the biz. If I find the article again I'll post it.

Did I give you this article yet? Sorry, I can't remember. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/12/05/recent-charges-sexual-abuse-children-in-hollywood-just-tip-iceberg-experts-say/

Alison Arngrim (now of http://www.Protect.org), and Paul Peterson are childhood stars confirming the corruption. Known perpetrators Martin Weiss, Fernando Rivas, Jason James Murphy.

From the article: “This has been going on for a very long time,” concurs former “Little House on the Prairie” star Alison Arngrim. “It was the gossip back in the ‘80s. People said, ‘Oh yeah, the Coreys, everyone’s had them.’ People talked about it like it was not a big deal.”

Arngrim, 49, was referring to Feldman and his co-star in “The Lost Boys,” Corey Haim, who died in March 2010 after years of drug abuse.

“I literally heard that they were ‘passed around,’” Arngrim said. “The word was that they were given drugs and being used for sex. It was awful – these were kids, they weren’t 18 yet. There were all sorts of stories about everyone from their, quote, ‘set guardians’ on down that these two had been sexually abused and were totally being corrupted in every possible way.”

If that was a Party of Five Jennifer Love Hewitt blind a few days ago I wonder how that fits. The only links I found were a guest star on Boy Meets World (not sure, it was one of the shows that only met partial criteria) and a TV movie in 1994 acting with Howard Hessemen. She and Mario Lopez were both on Kids Incorporated, but not at the same time.

Maybe there's a producer that ends up linking more of the shows together...or maybe another agent or casting director.

Then there's Haim's film LUCAS, which is brought up in the Corey Haim/Feldman articles in the comments sections with people naming this producer David Nicksay: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0630090/

What's interesting about him is he's still producing big films (many of them kids films), and there were two other child stars on that film who are having a rough go of life: Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder. He's also produced films with young gun Emilio Estevez, Frankie Muniz, Hillary Duff, Christina Ricci, and Anjelica Huston.

  143. My mind is blown after the past couple of weeks. Gossip sites are my addiction- don't know why- am an inner-city school teacher- so is maybe an escape??? Stumbled onto CDAN awhile ago, and it has become a favorite. Being a teacher and mom, want to abolish pedophilia. Boycotting creeps hits them where it hurts and diminishes their power.

  144. Kudos to Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt. Since I work with the population they are helping, I can directly see how it can benefit kids who don't get many opportunities. The district I work for used to have an awesome outdoor camp where inner city kids went for a week to commune with nature, build relationships, and self-esteem. It was a blast. So sad all of that is now gone because of CA having NO $$ for education. It's really, really worse than anyone knows, here in the trenches. Any little bit of help goes such a long way. Makes you feel renewed faith in humanity!
On another note- shout out to my Canuck peeps- am an ex-pat "trapped" in CA for now; originally from Niagara Falls area... XXXOOO

  145. I'd love it to be Jon Hamm and his partner, but you know what? Even if it's someone I don't like it is still a wonderful thing to do, and it's lovely that they do it in private.

As for the continuing thread on Himmmm etc., I feel bad that I never took the opportunity to thank him (them) for what he is doing. And Enty, too, but putting the blinds up in the first place.

  146. Kid Sis, this is late in the thread so I'm not sure if you will see it. I'm not sure how long you've been a reader here, but after reading your link to the Nicole Eggert article and the other articles I was reminded of somethings from way back.
There is a few old blinds (maybe long ones) where Nicole Eggert was the popular guess. If I remember correctly the eluded to the fact that Enty knew her. Enty has posted often about his love for the Goonies and it being one of his favorite movies and he has discussed how he adores Martha Plimpton (also in the Goonies). Many people have speculated that Enty is "Chunk" just because of his writings about the Goonies and that guy is now an Entertainment Lawyer (although it has been refuted and I don't believe it since it would be way too easy to figure out and Enty has done a much better job of hiding himself). I'm not trying to be a conspiricy theorist, but all those articles kind of just reminded me of that stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Kid Sis, I ended reading that one because it was linked from LSA. In the article you had read about animator did it mention anything anything about him being part of the Bohemian Grove? I guess it's some group of elite men including presidents, artists, writers, and the wealthy. Star Child had said his Dad was a part of this. This article has a documentary embedded in it, I haven't had a chance to watch yet but I will soon.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I do not comment on here too often but really enjoying reading and the community aspect- this group is usually warm and funny and genuine to each other.

In any case, I just wanted to add to Kid Sis et al that Corey Feldman used to date Drew Barrymore...just as a tie-in to the blinds from the other day. I'm sure most of you know that but just a reminder.

    ReplyDelete
  149. And that Corey Haim used to date Robyn Lively who was a child actress, still a working actress, daughter of a casting director mom or something similar and also the sister of Blake Lively.

    ReplyDelete
  150. If you look at some of the first child stars like Judy Garland, Shirley Temple, Natalie Wood, and Elizabeth Taylor, you'll find plenty of sad info about how they were sexually abused at the studios from childhood on. Temple once talked about how they locked her in a dark, black box if she didn't perform a sequence correctly or was tired or cranky and didn't want to do something. Garland talked about her own mother dropping her off at the studio at night where the creepy producer/mogul types abused her. Wood was no doubt abused the same way. Liz Taylor's years of chronic and weird medical problems probably started from severe sexual abuse. And the excessive amount of marriages and sad dependency on very bad men stinks of childhood sexual trauma.

It's a systemic rot that carries up to the current day. Don't forget the boy banders being abused by that creepy guy, Perlman I think it was? Aaron Carter talked about this at one point with his mom in a TV show I believe.

Then you have the Disney kids who as soon as they reached puberty were whored out as sexy tart types - Britney, Christina A., Justin T. The only one still moderately functional at this point is Justin, who was sexually groomed by the predators early on but keeps his mouth shut and his bearded relationship intact because he has dreams of being a serious actor and won't piss anybody off. Addictions will no doubt set in sooner or later as the years of abuse come back to haunt him.

Poor, poor creatures. "Lost Boys" indeed.

Don't forget, in the political arena you have Sarah Palin, similarly abused by her father whose only "profession" was working as a substitute teacher or periodic school teacher. He made other money other ways. As of this very moment Todd Palin is still helping to run a prostitution ring. A woman named Shailey Tripp has recently published her story, complete with names, evidence, and details of corrupt policemen and government officials and more exploiting her and other women, often underaged, often trafficked across state lines, for paid sex. Check out her book Boys Will Be Boys: Media, Morality and the Cover Up of the Todd Palin Shailey Tripp Sex Scandal. She passed three different polygraphs proving she is telling the truth and has lots of record, documentation, cell phone numbers, emails from Todd, and more. And there is a complete mainstream media blackout surrounding her story at the moment. At one point the National Enquirer featured part of her story and were going to cover it more, but they were scared off before taking the story farther.

  153. @ mykickapoo - if you ever listened to his (very short) radio experiment, you would know that he is not, in fact, 400 lbs. He sounds quite thin, actually. Just a ruse to give us the giggle, methinks. My theory is that Enty is either a longtime PA or part of the crew, and a beloved one. Also with newborns, you're basically just waiting around for them to wake up - so he has plenty of time to post IF (big IF) it's RDJ. Plus, its not like he's a single dad with plenty of nanny options.

@ Jason Blue Eyes - how can people think you're Rita? I always though you were a 35 year old male (no offense for adding 10 years!). BUT, Rita got lambasted for being herself and disappeared. I actually thought she reinvented herself as Nola!! ;)

  154. @tracynator and mk

    from Corey Haims Wikipedia:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corey_Haim

"He made his feature film debut in 1984's thriller Firstborn, starring alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert Downey, Jr. as a boy whose family comes under threat from his mother's violent boyfriend, played by Peter Weller. The film was shot in Canada. Haim's first day of shooting was with Weller, and he went up to compliment the older actor on his performance. Weller collared Haim, throwing him up against a wall to warn him not to speak to him after a take, and it took three assistants to separate them. Haim later admitted that he was terrified by the experience."

  155. @Mother - It's kind of a funny situation but I think I can straighten it out.

During the Oscars Rita's name came up a few times. I said to another poster that if she spoke to Rita to tell her I said "Hello." Last week this poster emailed me with Rita's address. I told her I'd email Rita and try to convince her to pop back in here. I also mentioned an online project I was working on. This poster mentioned this in the long discussion the other day and I guess a few readers thought I was secretly Rita and was going to announce it. LoL. As I read the posts from that evening it got really intense here. I saw there was a newbie posting and everyone assumed she was Lainey. I'm not a fan of Lainey but I'm sure she had other things to do then hang out here and call us stupid. Apparently the confusion surrounding me/Rita is cleared up. I hope. LoL.

  164. Oh Jon Hamm how you make me smile. Like how this great, happy blind makes me smile.

The stuff we've read the past few weeks is not only atrocious and heartbreaking but makes me want to join an avengers league. However, I really have no voice in h- wood! I would love to be a super hero to these poor children, though.

One thing I'm going to do-- my son was in a movie about 2 years or so ago. It was a blip on the screen but his scene did take half a day to film. He was very young. Anywho, I am NOT a stage mom. A photographer took his baby pics and actually recommended him to some casting agent b/c he was so chill. She called me for current pics of my little man and the director picked him. It was crazy to me and cool!

All that to say, I've never pursued anything else and sometimes have wondered if I should have. I am thinking my love of Enty and cdan AND himmmm are confirmation that my son is great being just a normal, amazing little man--no movie career.

Sorry for the long--most likely boring--over share. I just feel like being an avenger from kid sis' post.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Lastly, b/c I know you guys care (my attempt at comment sarcasm) if RDJ gets dropped from a movie it ain't going be a hit. That man can crazy act. I adore him. For some reason his role in tropic thunder just kills me--as in doubled over laughing

"what do you mean you people?"

"what do YOU mean, you people!."

    Crying laughter.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Speaking of RDJ, I just watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and one of his lines is something like, if you took the US and shook it, all the damaged people would slide into LA and all the "normal" people would manage to keep hanging on where they were. Sounds about right.

@Happymostofthetime, I had the same thought about Tony Goldwyn, but I think there was a discrepancy about the number and gender of his kids vs Himmmm's info.

@mk, yes, now that you mention it, I remember that blind about Weller & Ward. Ugh.

@MLE, totally agree with a product boycott, and that should include not only Diana Jenkins products but also any Disney and Nickolodian tie-in merchandise.

@ Kid Sis, awesome info you've brought us! Very good starting points for CDAN detectives to get their teeth into.

@ Rose, about the whole starchild saga. Now, I know that this is going to sound weird but I have a suspicion that that thread has been edited without us realizing it. I read that thread quite a while back and I seem to remember that starchild described *his father* (not himself) as being an actor in a popular 80s sitcom. That wouldn't apply to Andrew Koenig, because his father became famous through his role on the original Star Trek, which was not a sitcom.

When I re-read parts of the thread not too long ago, the starchild posts seemed different from what I remembered; they almost seemed to have been retro-fitted to fall in with subsequent events.

Or maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

  168. Oh, one more comment I wanted to make ... it seems that whenever a site starts talking about child abuse in Hollywood, it starts to get an influx of posts about Satanism, black magic, etc. as the reason for the child abuse.

I think that this is done deliberately. I think it's meant to deflect the attention from the main issue, which is that there is a very large organized international group of truly sick f*cks who prey on children, even babies. I think they use misdirection to get people, especially Christians, up-in-arms about Satan's minions (or Reptilian aliens) in Hollywood, and overlook the fact that those behind this are just humans ... sick, perverted humans, but humans nonetheless.

Kid Sis, that article you linked to that a Dan Schneider wrote is very interesting because it exactly illustrates an argument used by pedophiles (NAMBLA!) to justify their abuse of children.

    Sick, sick, sick bastards!

  170. @kid sis thanks for all the detective work. I watched that documentary about the boys town scandal and wonder if they are all connected. Its called Conspiracy of Silence. Really upsetting and should have been aired - http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma22jxA5xZY

I wonder why all the survivors haven't banded together to bring it down. I mean it worked with the Catholic church. Why not in HW?

In no other industry would this behavior be allowed, right? Could you imagine interviewing for a job at the Gap or a nursing job or banking position with the "casting couch" and then having to do other horrible things to keep your job? Well I guess people do have yucky things but not at this level.

    Interesting to think about...

  171. I'm with the majority: it's Jon Hamm, and we needed a kindness blind.

  172. @Mooshki - thanks, I had no idea.

  173. @vega - I know what you mean and I agree. However with that said, I personally know a woman who was severely sexually abused as a child in a "satanic" cult (not in HW though, in KY of all places).

As hackneyed as it sounds, that stuff does happen, but it is more rare than alarmists would have us believe. It is NOT the root cause of child abuse. 99% of it, like the stuff we have been reading about here, is as you say: a bunch of "sick f*cks" with out of control egos and ZERO boundaries.

  174. @KidSis & @Vega

So I went back and clicked on the links, and OMG - tjat male survivor one? Holy crap! On one thread in particular, one director's name kept popping up; as one person said - everything fits the timeline. For now, I will say his initials are J.S.

If you guys feel I should go ahead and type out his name, let me know.

  176. @ DueDiligence,
I suppose I shouldn't have made it sound like I don't think satanic practices happen. I think they do. But I also think it's just a cover, or an excuse, if you will, for abuse and certain other things.

@pollywoggoo, my bad. You're right. The Clampetts didn't marry until 1955. But it sounded to me like the abuse started sometime WWII. The survivor said that his family moved to the area during the War and he was only 4 when it began. But you're right - if the dates are accurate, it couldn't have been RCSr. Thank you for clarifying that.

  179. @surfer, I finally got done reading and I was just going to say I found a name too. I'll just expand it to Joel Shoe and let people finish it. I don't want people to mock me for spelling it wrong. ;)

I saw Dan Schneider (since I have no doubt about him) has a twitter and his own you tube channel. I don't have a twitter account but I have a youtube one. I so angry that no one will stop this guy, so they can keep making money while kids keep coming in like lambs being sent to slaughter.

I'm going to start bringing up all the info I can find and posting it publicly on YT so more people can know what a sick depraved person he is. If anyone wants to do that on twitter they should.

  181. Is the name Joel Shumacher?

If so according to Wikipedia "he directed the films St. Elmo's Fire and The Lost Boys, considered to be archetypal movies of the 1980s, were two of Schumacher's biggest hits."

He also directed "two adaptations of the books of John Grisham, The Client (1994) and A Time to Kill (1996)." There are many other movies he directed as well on Wikipedia.

There is a quote from a book about him written by Liz Smith and the quote is... "In Liz Smith's memoir, Natural Blonde, she states that "He called himself 'A Sexual Outlaw'"....

BTW Brad Renfro "He made his film debut at the age of ten in the lead role of Joel Schumacher's
"The Client"... "He died from a heroin overdose on January 15, 2008" He was approx 26 years old...

    Go Figure...

  182. @ pollywoggoo, don't know if you'll be back to this thread or not, but if so, out of curiosity, was the other animator you found the one whose team didn't want to work with him again after a layoff?

I found 3 who lived in Newport Beach but none of them had a son with the right name. I couldn't find any residence details for the other one (apart from RC) who had a son with the right name.
