There is an actor that is still working today and will always be a B lister because of his acting talent, although he had a very long absence because of these two incidents. No one would hire the Academy Award winner/nominee despite his pedigree because of what he did. Apparently time heals a lot of wounds but when you do what he did, it takes a long time and forgiveness from the two women involved.
Back at the height of his fame which was not that long ago, he met up with this very underage teen who had just hit it big and was partying up a storm. When I say teen, I mean barely a teen, but still the biggest story out there. She was a wild child and was not above getting wasted out of her mind. Frequently. Daily even. No family who cared so she was on her own and this actor took advantage of that and had sex with her. She had sex previously but it was with guys just a little older than her, not a guy in his 30's/40's. He did it more than once. In fact he moved her in with him for about a month and then she got pregnant and he kicked her out and sent her back home to her family. What to do? The family sent her to get an abortion and also to rehab. Nothing really happened to the actor at that time. Later though he got into more trouble.
The actor was involved with a woman who is also an actress and is a good solid B-/C+ to this day. Talented. She is very talented. They had a consensual relationship, although any relationship with this actor was always fraught with verbal and physical abuse. He beat her and yelled at her. She too got pregnant and wanted her to have an abortion. She refused. He would beat her on a daily basis to get her to change her mind. She refused. So, he beat her some more until finally one day she lost the baby. Two days later she was gone and so were his job prospects. Both actresses had powerful friends and this A lister who was on the top of his game just faded away almost instantly.

Drew fits all the clues:
- Had the addiction problems and sexual liaisons with older guys as a pre/early teen.
- Went to rehab at 13, and then again at 14 (after a suicide attempt).
- Family did not take care or protect her.
- She had very powerful friends in Hollywood, starting with Steven Spielberg.
It's not just anybody who can stop an A-List Oscar winner/nominee from getting hired.
I don't think it's Lohan. She didn't have such powerful friends (Lorne and Fey are in New York, work in mainly in television and dodn't have that kind of clout).
Also, LL's partying reportedly started at 15, and she didn't become a big story until later, after F. Friday and M. Girls.
I would think in the context if this blind, that this was something shocking, the "barely a teen" would be on the young side, like 13, not 19. 19 year old starlets hooking up with middle-aged men is pretty run if the mill in Hollywood.

Regarding Jack Nicholson: Do I think he's probably banged a teen or two in his day? Yes. Does he fit the blind? No. His largest resume gap is late 90's, when he'd have been 60 years old. He was A list all the way through til recently, and some would probably say he still is.

We are NOT talking about anyone who is over 15 for the teen. This is definitely about someone who is between, I'd say, 11-14 at the time.
That being sad I highly doubt it is Lindsay Lohan. She seemed normal during her teen years and about the age in question she was dating Aaron Carter. Also while I don't think Momma or Papa Lohan really care about their daughter I don't think they would have allowed her to move in with someone at such a young age. Also if he did kick her out I would bet my life they would extort the crap out of the actor.
Also Chloe Moretz seems to be going down this path but it can't be her either, she is far too young, just 15 now. So she doens't match with the, "Not that long ago" she would be pretty damn recently.
On to Taylor Momsen. Not her either IMO. The blind states that the teen, "Just hit it big". I don't think she has ever "Hit it big" until recently and she would have been the right age around 2004-2006. She does have a work break there but "hit it big" and a break in work don't equate to me.

Pedigree also needs to be recognized (as mentioned above). Okay, off to search...
Ok one more since she is going to be constantly picked. Demi lovato. NOPE. In the age range we are looking at she was on Barney. Then a 2 year gap followed by somewhat steady work beginning in 2007. She would have been 15 at that point. So unless being on Barney is "Hit it big" it isn't here. Thankfully, cause she has enough issues.

There are other former "troubled" young actresses I could name: Melanie Griffith, Tatum O'Neal (who hit it big at the age of 10), Bijou Phillips... but none of them fit the clues so well.
I hate discussing the women in this, but how about Anna Paquin? She won an Oscar at 11 in 1993. What if someone took advantage of her within a year or two after that ( my skin is really crawling right now), then had the relationship with the second woman, say 95, 96 ish, then disappeared for 5 to 10 years, and is now back in the mix? So, if Paquin was 12-13, the guy was 30 ish, he would now be 50 ish. Is that too far back?

I want to know who this guy is, it's making me angry, but revealing him would lead us to the names of his victims and they may not be ready for that.
I know Nick Cage hasn't had any noticeable breaks in movie making, but I certainly perceive that there was a precipitous drop-off from high profile, A-list movies and promotion. He didn't register on most peoples radar for a long time.

Oh damn @MforMayham beat me to the Dunst guest. I'm thinking it could be her. "Interview with a Vampire" came out in 1994 when she was 12. Right age range and I'd say that was probably what got her career off to a start and it was a pretty big movie at the time. Not sure about anything else in the blind and also I have doubts about her because I'm assuming someone whose family made them get an abortion and go to rehab would have had a bit of a break in their career, which Dunst doesn't really have.

ReplyDeleteI don't think someone like Taylor Momsen or the Fannings fit because the time line is not right. The person has to have gone a good period of time without doing much acting. Going by the blind, he had the fling with the underage girl who had just hit it big. THEN he went a long period without doing much. Taylor has only been around for a couple years.

If it's one of the current tween/teens, the only one big enough to really qualify is Miley. Lohan wasn't wild at that age, and I would never in a million years call Taylor Momsen or even Demi Lovato the "biggest story out there."

Partly because Enty is basically describing her outright for us, but mostly because he says the actor was at the height of his fame NOT THAT LONG AGO, which implies to ME within the last 2-8 years. Barrymore et all doesn't fit.

I really do think it has to be Nicholson/Barrymore/Angelica Huston. Angelica's the daughter of John Huston and granddaughter to Walter Huston. That is a long Hollywood line. She and Nicholson broke up in 1989. I believe because she found out his much younger girlfriend was pregnant.

Talented current actress-I wonder if she announced the pregnancy and then lost it? I really am trying NOT to focus on the victims and guess to who the guy is.

I think it says a lot that after that experience, Jack Nicholson (another violent man and popular guess for the blind, but it's not him) seemed like prince charming to her (according to her sister).
