Your Turn

With all the celebrity naked photos on cell phones, how do you feel about sending naked photos? Have you done it? Had it backfire?

  1. I'm surprisingly prudish. I don't like group sex, not into scat, and don't photograph my junk and send it to people. I'm a strictly one-on-one, in-person sleazebag.

  2. Never done, never will. I think it is asking for trouble.

  3. I'm more of a lights-off type of gal, so no - I would never do that.

  4. Backfire? Well, back in the day my roommate's ex sent naked photos of her to Playboy. They called her, paid for her trip to the Chicago "mansion," took photos and offered her $10,000 and a possible centerfold. She eventually declined (after they said they wanted her to lose 5 pounds. Screw that, she said and never looked back -- the pictures they took were really good, though).

  6. Never ever ever, not with the way this shit gets spread around.
About 5 years ago, I let a guy take ONE picture of me - I was nekkid, but still had everything covered, including my face. LUCKILY, he was too classy to do anything with it once we broke up, but I won't even consider it anymore.

  7. I have way too much respect for my contacts to screw with thier brains by sending picture of myself nekkid. Besides, I don't think cell phone cameras come with a wide lense.

  8. I've done it but extremely, uh, personal shots have not included my face. There aren't many naked shots that could keep me completely annon because of my tattoos so the recipients have been very few.

  9. I'm by no means a prude but I've never done nude photos period. Much less on the internet or a cell phone. No thanks.

  11. No way.......not me, ever.

  12. I've done it but the key is to never have your face in the pic. Just bits and pieces of you. It is risky though.

  13. Funny you should ask. My husband and I just got new iPhones, which were a huge upgrade. We've been enjoying the awesome technology, maybe a little too much. For the first (and now only!) time in my life, I texted a topless photo of myself. Unfortunately, my husband's dad asked to use his phone before my husband had gotten the text. This just happened 2 days ago. I am still hot in the face. I never thought I would top the time I got drunk and walked out of the bathroom with my skirt tucked into my thong - in front of my husband's uncle and father.

Well, at my age and size, I doubt that anyone would want to see me naked anyway. I did once, some years back, let this doctor I was dating take a Polaroid of me naked, but with my head not in it. At this point I'd be happy to think that was floating around somewhere on the internet. LOL. But no, as a rule, it's not a great idea. Once you take the picture, it's like putting something in writing...it can come back and hurt you. Look at Anthony Wiener and Brett Favre.

  19. I'm as freaky as the next perv, but I have a rule: No film, no photo, no evidence. My Hubby of 15 years is always begging me to break it, I refuse. Intentional or not, that mess always gets out. God bless him for wanting to see it, but its only in the privacy of our home. Or a cheap hotel room. Or our car. Lol.

  20. As far as celebrities go, with the naked pictures and such, I think it's safe to say it's a recipe of narcisism and publicity. In the case of us plebes, it depends on how it's done. I've absolutely taken nude pictures of myself, in what I think is a completely healthy expression of curiosity. Did I blush and delete them immediately? Yes. I've also sent a long distance boyfriend a series of phone pics starting at my feet and ending with my smile over the course of a week. But what (I like to think) made them sexy was was the pics didn't show.

And, I like, totally have self-respect. And stuff.

The rest of it, like the Olivia Munn skitching trend, doesn't appeal to me personally, but I'm not going to slut shame anyone for it. It doesn't hurt anyone, it's safer then actual sex, and everyone has their right to their choice of sexual expression.

  21. You would think celebs would learn by now, which is why I think they did it on purpose and leaked the photos. I'm not even a celebrity, and I (not even for a million bucks) would allow a naked photo of myself to be taken on a cellphone or a camera.

  22. Absolutely not. Though I wouldn't be adverse to buying a copy of Playboy, scanning the photo of a beautiful gal, cropping off the head, and saying it was me.

  23. Wow.

Yes. Many times. With my significant other.

And nothing has ever happened. Still enjoy viewing them.

  24. My hubby has been working away this year, so yeah. Never with my face. It wasn't that big of a deal and it sure made him happy!

  25. No way, no how. I had a boyfriend ask for a picture of my pussy - I sent him one of my cat. That's as far as I go.

  26. wow Pogue Mahone - way to call your fellow CDANers out - judgemental much?
I have not taken any naked shots but would never judge others for their choices which do not affect anyone except themselves

  28. I've taken "sexily clad" photos of myself and sent them to my fiance. Just this past weekend we had blast taking pics of me with MY phone (his was dropped in the snow and wasn't working). I trust him completely.

  29. I have loads of self-respect and am not trashy. Yet, I have taken a few and had a few taken of me. It's not like I was selling them on a street corner. I was just comfortable doing it.

  30. I'm going to plead the 5th on this one. But IF I were to say take some pictures and send them they wouldn't have my face in them. ; - )

  31. I have a body that is perfect for radio. So, no.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Nope. Never have and probably never will.

  33. If I had a rockin' bod, it might be "iffy". But I don't, and I'm 48 and have some sense of compassion for my fellow human beings, so "NOOOOoooooo!!!" (in my best Elizabeth Taylor impression). I'm too scared to even take a nekkid pic of myself. It's a wonder I even get naked. I close the bathroom door when I pee or shower and I just live with my dog right now.

  34. I've sent and received naughty pics on my phone and by email, and it's never backfired. I urge celebs to keep doing it and keep getting hacked though, it's funny lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hell no! I don't want to receive them either.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well, I don't have a cell phone (I know, I must be the last person in North America to not have one), but...on one hand, I do have a bit of a show-offy streak at times, but only really when clothed, not to mention my parents would never get over it if the damn pictures ever got out, so... Oh, and I'm not exactly what's considered conventionally attractive at this point, so I'll take pity on anyone who might potentially see the damn shots and just not take 'em. :-)

  37. It's dumb, dumb, dumb. Any time I hear about a celeb getting hacked, at this point, I think they are doing it for attention. How dumb are they after hearing about so many celebrities having their private photos end up on the internet?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sure, I've done it. No faces though!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Can I photoshop them first like the celebs do?

  41. I heard a rumour that this is (edited now that I've looked around a bit more, why pour petrol on fires you don't want burnt) site so I am going to answer this one because it gives me a smile even tho it's an uncomfortable topic. Yes, a video with the father of my daughter, about 9 years ago. Yes, I regret it. My advice would simply be if you are not comfortable with other people seeing it then don't do it. Don't kid yourself with trust/partner issues
