I don't know if it is because I look at hundreds of photos of celebrities or write about them but they invade my dreams frequently. Bizarre dreams. They have entirely replaced my go to bizarre dreams and the ones where I get to fly. How about you? Celebrity dreams? Bizarre dreams?

ReplyDeleteI always have bizarre dreams - doesn't everyone? I don't dream about celebrities too often but Daniel Craig has been known to invade every now and then. It isn't as exciting as I would like, though - we are playing checkers or something benign like that.

ReplyDeleteAs far as celebrities, I sometimes dream about them if I see something about them right before I go to sleep. For instance, last week I watched the news which had something about Tim Tebow, went to sleep right after the news, and he did sort of a walk through of the dream I had. Or if I'm watching a movie and then go to sleep, one of the stars in the movie might show up.
ReplyDeleteI just had one last night with a cameo from Ghostface Killa. It was like a Nardwuar interview (I've recently been watching a lot of them) and I had booked him for some concert. He was using my house to prepare for the show, and had on the bathrobe with church socks. We were going through a bunch of old records listening to samples. There were girls there, nothing homo-erotic, just weird.

I had a dream where I was Sharon Tate the night she was murdered. But there was a scandal involved in my/Sharon's murder, more so than the murder itself. (I have been reading to much CDAN!) In my dream Roman Polanski was there the night of the murders and in my dream state I knew it would be such a scandal that Roman was at the house and not in Europe. In the Dream I was being chased by the Manson Girls and Roman and I ran into the pool house to escape. I had just got thru the door and Roman was a little bit ahead of me. I called for him to help me lock the door but he wouldn't. I wasn't strong enough to push the door closed behind the Manson Girls so they dragged me into the yard and stabbed me death. I did feel the stabbings and felt myself losing my ability to breathe.
ReplyDeleteI do know that Sharon's body was found in the house and not in the yard, but in the dream there were scandals surrounding the murder so this was just another scandal to add to it.
I had a dream not too long ago that Brad Pitt was hitting on me at someplace that had a boardwalk. In the dream I'm flirting back but telling him that I'm engaged.

ReplyDeleteI think I mentioned this in another You Turn recently, but I dream of Adrien Grenier on a fairly regular basis (a few times a year, for several years running). I've also had pretty hot sex dreams about Hugh Laurie. I've had make-out/boyfriend dreams about Skarsgard.

I have dreamt three times so far that I had to babysit Justin Bieber. Literally entire dreams of " Justin! Get over here and finish your lunch!" and " Justin, get in the car or we'll be late for your appointment! Don't make me call your mother!"

ReplyDeleteAfter Tom Cruise married Katie Holmes, I had a dream that I snuck into their house at Thanksgiving and tried to rescue her and her baby. I had to sneak past Martha Stewart because she was saying grace during the dinner and Tom called his ninja guards to chase us.
I woke up before we got away.
I had a dream the other night that I was having an affair with my favorite singer. It weirded me out, because I've never thought of him in that way...he's more like a favorite drunk uncle-type.

I only dream about celebrities when I have significant stress in my life. The strangest (although I completely understood what it meant) dream was in vignette form: 1st one had me best friends with Tom Hanks and he needed me to help him plan a camping parade in Portland, Oregon (I've never been to the west coast within the US); 2nd I was on a cruise with Tom Cruise and he was flirting with me (and hell no, he's not my type);in the last one, I went to the movies alone to see a Jackie Chan flick. There was noone else in the theatre but one guy sitting in the row ahead of me. Unfortunately, he was disturbing my enjoyment of the film because he was masturbating to the film. The strangest part was that it was actually Jackie Chan whacking off to his own film and getting loud about it. So I leaned over and smacked him in the head and said 'do you mind?' He sincerely apologized and stopped so I could enjoy the rest of his film.

I've had a ton of dreams with celebs in them. Most recently was 2 nights ago when I dreamed that Britney Spears decided the guy she would pull on stage for a lap dance was Justin friggin Timberlake! It was dream gold. Me & another reader of this site (who I follow on Twitter) discussed how hot it was. I also remember thinking in the dream, Jessica Biel is gonna be pissed, lol.

ReplyDeleteI dream repeatedly about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. These dreams are like follow-up episodes. Always a similar scenario - Brad requesting me to keep an eye on their penthouse, or accompany Jolie and the kids to a foreign destination etc. Never anything sexual. I always oblige and freaky things happen while I help out i.e a murder in their house or Jolie overdosing. Next time I'll refuse to help.

Once in a while Bono shows up. I try various things to spark his interest, but nothing ever happens. It's pathetic, I know. I can't even have him in MY OWN DREAMS!

ReplyDeleteI have had some very odd dreams over the years. I've had two different dreams where Avril Lavigne died. The first one I dreamed that I was in a desert type place, presumably Afghanistan or Iraq, and a car pulled up to a checkpoint, Avril got out of the passenger side and was shot 3 times in the chest by a guy somewhere behind me, then fell forward onto her knees then onto her face. I woke up at that point.
ReplyDeleteThe second one I dreamed that she'd died somehow related to the Japanese earthquake / tsunami (presumably in the dream there was a bigger impact on LA by the tsunami and she drowned). I think that dream came about though because I'd been listening to Goodbye Lullaby while reading about the tsunami.
Other weird dreams include one where I was in this tower type thing in a sort of abandoned factory and some men were getting themselves off by throwing each other and themselves through windows into a large swimming pool below. I was watching and pleasuring myself (I don't like heights so that's why I wasn't near the edge) Someone in the dream said that he'd heard of at least one death from someone missing the pool lol..

My bizarre dream happened during my first pregnancy. I was being chased by dragons along my childhood street. I hid in the neighbours house across the road, which then changed into a large dark city. There were people marching through the streets trying to find me, those people were in fact Nazi's??? My Pop, who passed away in '93, found my hidey hole and rescued me.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite celeb dream was when I was nine years old, and it was a day-long date with Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I had his poster next to my bed and was obsessed! Anyway, we went to the club, where we were the only two there. The dance floor was like an air-hockey table, so we were floating. Then, we went on a hot-air balloon ride. Lastly, we went to a Chinese festival. He cheated while playing Mahjong and was thrown into an on-site jail. He cried, held out his hand and told me he Loved me. Then I woke up.

I have celeb dreams all the time b/c I read CDAN so close to bed. My latest ones were about meeting Zac Efron, who was stripping on the side b/c acting wasn't paying the bills & another one where I met Brad & Angelina to help them with the "Make it Right" foundation. Last night I dreamed I was at an Alabama Shakes concert and there was a scene in a bathroom similar to Bridesmaids. I need to start writing mine down.
