Miss New Hampshire 2010 Arrested For Domestic Violence

Nicole Houde was Miss New Hampshire and a contestant in Miss USA. She is now the proud owner of a mugshot after she was arrested for kicking and scratching her boyfriend who was trying to look at her cell phone because he accused her of having an affair. The boyfriend refused to give her back the phone and Nicole went ballistic and at the end of it ended up in jail.

Nicole competed in Miss USA the same year as Rima Fakih who also has a mugshot.

  1. Not so sure this is so interesting, but it must be a slow news day. I actually am surprised I haven't seen anything yet about Adam Levine calling Jennifer Love Desperate "aggressive" and basically was ickified by her whole "let me love you forever, by me a ring right now, I want to burrow inside your skin and make a home inside you" type of love.

  2. Oh, the irony. Our Miss Americas are criminals. Let's try harder to live up to our "ugly American" stereotype. :/

  3. Her boyfriend had no business looking at her cell phone.

  4. She's got a major case of the crazy eyes.

  5. My takeaway here is that I should have been calling the cops on my parents all those years. This type of tomfoolery was SOP at my house. It took me many years to figure out that this wasn't how adults were supposed to behave!

  6. He had no business with her phone. She may have gond overboard, but he had no right to have it and even less to not give it back.

  7. sounds like a healthy relationship between two adults. Right? Right?

  8. Some of you may think that this is not important news, but a lot of people "poo poo" domestic violence when it is a woman against a man. If he did the same thing to her, everyone would be singing a different tune and calling for his head.

My husband's first wife would hit him all the time, with her hands, her heavy purse, whatever she could grab. He pushed her off him once to stop her from beating him, and from then on he was the "bad guy."

Let's cut the BS. Domestic violence is domestic violence, no matter who commits the act or why. It's time for people to stop giving a "pass" to women and time for the law and courts to hold women to the same accountability as men with the same punishments.

  9. Totally agree Lotus.

And wow I hadn't heard that about Adam Levine! Doesn't surprise me one bit coming from him though.

  13. I disagree whether or not he shuold have looked at her phone has anything to do with her becoming violent, if in fact she did. That is a very slippery slope.

  14. She's definitely guilty, but no one, especially someone who's just a boyfriend, has the right to go thru your personal things. I would have been furious too. The violence was unnecessary.

  15. NYer, I'm with you. Isn't this almost the same situation as Rihanna and Chris Brown? She was trying to look through his phone because he was cheating with other girls.

  16. From that mugshot, I would have thought she won Miss Tranny New Hampshire.

  18. @Sue - thanks, but I'm so good now. I've said it before here, but I'll say it again: I'm the happiest soccer mom ever. I know damn well how wonderful my life is :-).

  19. And how wonderful my hubby is. We both came from crazy and are very happily going for boring and normal.

  21. Fuck Adam Levine.
Calling a woman "aggressive" (like it's a four letter word or something)just because she expressed her opinion in wanting to date you?

His history with women has shown he's a sociopathic cheater, so why would I side with an obvious misogynist like him?

  22. This isn't the Miss America contestants-- it's Donald trump's pageant. Seems like everything he touches is somewhere on the arc of sleazy, sleazier and sleaziest.
