Cee Lo Green Had A Temper Problem

Cee Lo Green still has a temper, but unlike in 2001, when he got arrested for domestic violence, now he confines himself to throwing diva tantrums when his tea is not the perfect temperature or someone forgets to de-shed the cat. Star found out that Cee Lo had a criminal record that goes back to 2001. That year, Cee Lo and his wife got into an argument and Cee Lo decided to settle matters by smashing out all the windows of the family car. The police were called and Cee Lo was arrested and spent some time in jail. After he was released he failed to show up for his court hearing and was jailed again. This was a long time ago and I'm willing to cut him a break since he didn't actually hit anyone, just the car. Make sure you take his food and drink order correctly though or he will have you fired.

Um, if he didn't threaten or hit anyone, why was he arrested? It's not against the law to destroy your own property.

@Tex They can take you for the night if they think you're still a danger and fear that the situation might escalate or perhaps he was inebriated. Since Enty never includes any links to sources you have to go out and search for the whole story yourself.

I will cut him some slack too b/c he didn't hit anyone and as for the tea goes, there's a very good reason vocalists need their tea the way they ask for it. If he's getting people fired from public establishments for messing up that's petty and wrong. If he's fired assistants who weren't consistent or didn't get it right ever, he has every right. If it's in your job description and you fail to meet needs then that's on you.

  3. The best indication of future behavior is past behavior. That is all.

  4. What he destroyed was community property apparently, so it wasn't just his.

  5. He's an ANGRY sausage! ☻

  8. He comes across as such a mellow guy on The Voice. Creeps me out the way he always has the white cat on his lap.

  11. Yes! I am a mental health counselor and some of my clients have been given prescriptions for cats from their psychiatrists.

  15. Denise, thank you for going into the mental health field.

I was so shy & sensitive as a kid, even with sisters, I spent all my time alone. I truly think always having a cat has saved my sanity. Most of it. They do what they can, anyway.
Pets ARE great for stress though. And for shy kids.

  16. I don't even understand the purpose as to why this was posted. This is from 11 years ago?

  17. CeeLo Green is a "vocalist"??

  18. Indeed, bunnyrabbit. Is CLo running for President or something? (Not that he wouldn't be a dandy GOP candidate. So would Mr. Ed.)

  19. CeeLo is a very talented vocalist. Listen to the Gnarls Barkley albums. I think he also recorded some of the songs in one take, I think the often played "crazy" is a one taker. I love me some CeeLo, he let's his freak flag fly proudly.

  20. Completely OT, but I'm dying here! Have to make an Asshat Report - just heard on the radio that Kevin Costner is touring with his band - in your finer Oklaoma Tribal Casinos!! Isn't that awesome???

Just thought that needed to be mentioned on CDAN, where there's sooo much love for the man :-).

  21. *Oklahoma. Even though I live in OK, I still spell real good.

  22. He's another brat "entertainer" with self-control issues. Alert me when there is another amazing newsflash.

  23. 1) I love Cee-Lo and all his freakiness - truly hope he keeps it together.

    2) RE: Therapy pets - if it weren't for my dog, I might not have made it through that rainy day 2 summers ago. Looking into his big brown puppy-dog eyes in the rear-view mirror caused me to think real hard about trust, unconditional love, and responsibility. It motivated me to "keep passing the open windows."

  24. WTF about Kevin Costner?!? I work in OKC and actually have a few casino clients and I've heard NOTHING about this!!! Spill Frufra!

and I like Cee Lo but gosh if his hands aren't SO FREAKING SMALL compared to the rest of him. He freaks me out! And I think he had the best overall team on the Voice this season!

  25. @amh - yup, heard it on the radio today. July 19th at the Lucky Star in Concho. Isn't that just the best? Somewhere in the back of my mind, I had a vague memory that he fancied himself a musician.

Are you involved with bring musical talent to casinos? Because since I moved to OK two years ago, I've been fascinated with the bizarre mix of talent that makes the casino rounds here. I always wonder what artists are thinking as they're driven to, say, Thackerville or Concho. Do they love performing that much? Are they that much in debt? Seems like there would be some great back stories there.

  26. His abnormally short arms freak me out. How could he hit anyone more than 18 inches away from him?

  27. lol, and his tiny hands and feet. i'm fascinated with them.

  28. @ms_goddess Hugs to you and your pup. I live mine so much I bought her a blue velcro harness and ironed on SERVICE DOG patches so I can bring her everywhere. She's about as trained as a bumblebee.

  29. Ooh, thanks Frufra. I'm gonna plan a road trip! ;)

  31. @mikey - I agree about how mellow he seems on The Voice (and elsewhere). Kind of surprising to hear this.

  32. @mcspanky if you are serious about your dog, I hope you reconsider. People do this where I work all the time. I should not have to clean up after a dog in a retail shop. You're ruining it for everyone else. There is a reason dogs aren't allowed everywhere.

    I hope you are joking.

  33. Ummmm I'm more shocked to hear Cee Lo has a wife. Guess my gaydar is broke.

  34. Frufa, just work for an ad agency and have a couple of casino clients. Man, I may have to drive the two hours for this crap!

And I think many performers do casinos for smaller venues = higher ticket prices = bang for their buck. Don't have to worry about not selling out, too.
