Four For Friday - No More Please

It is Friday so it is announcement time. Unless of course you are in Australia right now and then it is Saturday afternoon and you can already see Sunday and the next work week on the horizon. Sorry. Speaking of Sunday's, I really liked posting all your links and commenting on them last Sunday so make sure if you see something interesting during the week to e-mail it my way and if I don't use it during the week, you can bet I will on Sundays. On Saturdays I reveal a blind item. I have one in mind for tomorrow, but it is going way way back so need to try and find it. Now you know how I will be spending my Friday night. It works best when I do it drunk. Please follow me on Twitter. The follow me thing is over there ----------> I think. Doing some remodeling so it may have been moved. On twitter I talk about a lot of stuff that is not always on the site and also have extra blind items.

So, this show was a favorite of a lot of people. It went off the air a few years ago, but not long enough where people don't remember it. Everyone remembers it. It was a comedy. Typical sit com stuff but designed for a younger audience and a big hit for lots and lots of years. Anyway, the female lead of the show has started opening up about her experience on the show and it is pretty revealing. Everyone who watched the show was in love with her and the actors on the show were no different. She was new to the whole experience and new to the attention that was being forced on her from every direction. She started the show as a minor but that didn't stop her from being hit in by everyone. She told me that 40 year old guys who were married with kids who worked on the show would hit on her and were always groping her. Always touching. When she talks about ti now she visibly shudders when she describes it. She says she can still feel their hands. They knew she would not do or say anything and she says sometimes four or five guys a day would be groping her. When she got older and began to really devlop she says it got way worse. Then, it was not just the groping but they also would ask her out or corner her. She said that she never really felt safe the whole time she was on the show and this was years. She did have a relationship with two of her co-stars, one of which took her virginity. Of course that actor told everyone so then the old men making moves on her grew more intense. She did admit to having a one season long relationship with a producer on the show who was married. She said he was so good looking and now she wouldn't have done it but she was 18 and didn't think about his wife and kids but only the fact that this boss saw her as attractive and didn't grope her so she went to lunch with him which turned into them getting hotel rooms and then it was over. She said that she almost died inside when he dumped her and also thought about killing herself. She didn't know how to deal with it. One of the actors she had sex with on the show later came out to her as gay even though he still has not to the rest of the world. She was miserable for years and when the producers wanted to do one more year of the show she told me she knew she would fall apart and never be the same and told them no more. They decided not to do another season. Her experience has left her so shattered she does not really do much anymore except live day to day and hang out with a few friends. She does not work, and has thought about acting from time to time, but just is afraid of what will happen.

  1. I was thinking Mila Kunis (w/ Ashton and Topher Grace) up until the end.

    Cosign Beth and Christina...

  5. I never watched Heroes & don't know who was on the show besides her, but Hayden Panettiere came to mind.

  6. I'm with Beth and Christina. Mila Kunis popped into my head as well

  7. Can't be Mila Kunis, this actress "does not work".

What other 90's sitcoms were there?

  10. I got nothing. I tried some googling with zero results. Can't wait to see what you guys figure out! It just seems like it shouldn't be that hard to figure out darnit!

  11. Damn this is a good one, but so sad for the actress. Off to research I go, lol

  12. Heroes was a drama, not a sitcom.

Based on the description, I can't tell if this is a kids show on Nick or Disney. It could go either way, especially as Enty doesn't say if it's network or not. Should we infer from that that is a cable show?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anonymous10:23 AM

    Heroes was not a comedy.

    Saved by the Bell?

    ReplyDelete
  14. I thought Hayden too, but she's worked since then. This sounds similar to another blind, so the name that popped into my head was Angela Watson. She played the middle sister on Step by Step. She hasn't done anything really since that show quit production.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Going way back, how about Erin Moran?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was thinking maybe Blossom, but she's done some work lately...

  17. "The female lead" makes me think this is not an ensemble show. Beyond that, got nothin.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Beth I think you're onto something. He says "designed for a younger audience" so that makes me think it was Disney or one of those Nick shows. I know almost nothing about those except that Miley and Demi were both on there. But they both work a lot don't they? Miley just did a movie.

  19. Oh wait the OC wasn't a sitcom and she died a season before the series finale

    ReplyDelete
  20. Step by step? The blonde girl? Family Matters, the sister Urkel likes?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I also thought Hillary Duff, but Lizzie McGuire went off the air in 2004 and she did a ton of things after that. I think she's not really working now because of the baby, not because of anything that happened while she was on LMcG.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Tiffany Brissette, Small Wonder?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Or Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly, Freddie as the gay co-star.

    ReplyDelete
  25. If it's a 90s sitcom, Justine Bateman? If this is true, where are the parents when this is happening?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why are we guessing so far back if it says the show went off the air a few years ago.

Thanks All, for the Heroes correction, I've never seen the show to know that it was a drama.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Step by step? The blonde girl? Family Matters, the sister Urkel likes?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ditto Beth...okay, I know enty twists things around at times, but could it possibly be Lisa Turtle aka Lark Voorhies? I thought the "star" was Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, but it was an ensemble show...She dated Mark Paul Gooselar for a while and recent pics that we saw - she looked like a train wreck! I have heard from close friends in the hotel business and hairstylists that Mario Lopez is gay. The friends do not know each other, and the hairstylist never dishes Hollywood gossip, unless we are talking about a Bachelor recap and even THAT is stretching celebrity..,

    ReplyDelete
  29. Tatiana Ali from Fresh Prince? Although I don't know if she would be considered a "lead"

    ReplyDelete
  30. Didn't look at guesses yet, but I am going to say Tapenga - can't remember her real name, from Boy Meets World.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The little girl from Reba? Didn't she have an eating disorder? May have been from the split with the producer.

    ReplyDelete
  32. It has to be someone that isn't working now and didn't start off as the lead. She became popular through the run of the show.

I originally thought Tatyana Ali from Fresh Prince, but I looked her up and she was only 17 when the show ended plus she has worked since, so can't be her...

Who ever it is she's not an actress anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Tiffani-Amber Theisen is a regular on White Collar. She had a baby a couple years ago, and she took her time losing the weight. She generally looks very pretty on the show at least.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Especially after saying "After she really started to develop", that girl has a large chest for someone so tiny.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Winnie Cooper -- good guess.. I'm thinking that "everyone remembers it" my take it out of the disney, nickelodeon strata -- something more on a big network?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Female lead means we need to think along the lines of Blossom , Clarissa explains it all, etc

My first thought was Alia Shawcat but she wasnt the lead

I like the Winnie Cooper guess

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hate to say it, but Danielle Fishell from Boy Meets World makes a lot of sense.

Oh, how I was in love with Rider Strong back in the day. Really hope I am wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Weren't there some other females on 70s show?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Here is a list of sitcoms geared toward younger crowds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_teen_situation_comedies

    ReplyDelete
  40. Jessi, that was my thought as well but Danielle Fishel (Topanga) has her own show on one of those networks, the Style Network or E or something.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Nikki Cox from Unhappily Ever After? She dated Kevin Connelly and Bobcat Goldthwaite

    ReplyDelete
  42. Blair from the Facts of Life could work, she quit acting after that show and was drop dead gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  43. i think Winnie Cooper is it, great guess -- didn't she fill out more as she got older, which is alluded to in the piece

    ReplyDelete
  44. actually it may be Nikki Cox _ "She did have a relationship with two of her co-stars, one of which took her virginity." Bobacat & E from Entourage - but she has worked some

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think it's Jamie Lynn Spears. She's the only female lead in a comedy who started as a minor, AND was rumored at the time to have had an affair with one of the producers, AND does not work anymore that I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't know about the Winnie guess. She went on to become a Mathematician and even wrote a book for teens about math. She's super intellegent, genious level I think. She has also done plenty of interviews and she seems really stable. She had a baby a year or so ago.
I'd hate it if it were her.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Danika McKellar (Winnie Cooper) still works and has worked a lot since Wonder Years if you look at her imdb page - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005211/

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think Snowstorms onto something, though it might be Tiffany Amber Thiessen...She really hasn't done much in years!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I don't think it's Winnie Cooper... she guest-starred on Fred Savage's short-lived "Working," which I don't think she would have done if this was her.

    ReplyDelete
  50. If it was Topanga from "Boy Meets World", she dated the actor who played Eric for a while. He could be the one who bragged about taking her virginity.

Ooooohhhh!! I think Karrots is on to something... Lisa Whelchel from Facts of Life with George Clooney being gay!!!!

    1. I like this guess too, but the only male co/stars when the girls were young was the headmaster. She was older when mckenzie astin, George Clooney, other boyfriends were on the show...

I am still on the Saved by the Bell kids. Mario is just a little too metrosexual.

  52. I follow Danielle Fishel on twitter. I doubt it's her. She had her show on Style Network, she's working now doing recaps for MSN, and being on twitter is a pretty puiblic thing. She's also studying to get a degree in psychology.

Danica McKeller, the woman who played Winnie Cooper, is a math whiz. She has published a book, has her Ph.D, and shows up from time to time to talk about teaching math and encouraging girls to study math more. She has also acted on a few shows from time to time, including a guest arc on West Wing. She is a very busy woman, from what I understand. I think she might even be a Uni professor somewhere in So Cal.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Nikki Cox did Las Vegas for many years.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I was thinking Winnie Cooper, too, until the end. She's not in acting anymore, but she's hardly doing 'not much'.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danica_McKellar

  55. I don't think anyone's got it yet, because based on this clue "She was miserable for years and when the producers wanted to do one more year of the show she told me she knew she would fall apart and never be the same and told them no more." It leads me to believe the show was centered around her, otherwise they would have written her character off the show and kept it going.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree. Not a supporting character and quite possibly the only lead.

      Delete
  56. Can't be Jamie Lynn Spears either. She was younger than 18 for the whole run of Zoey 101

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sparkwee, it just occurred to me that she was only 16 when she got pregnant and the show ended at that time, didn't it?

I'm marking her off my list, which has no one else on it yet!

      Delete
  57. There's some rumor that JL Spears' baby is by the producer, and they're just pretending it was by her boyfriend Casey. But the baby is why she isn't working anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  58. The Wonder Years was a drama.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Facts Of Life did not go off the air "a few years ago". Try again.

Course, full disclosure, I don't have a better guess.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The whole time I read this I thought it was so obviously Candice Cameron from Full House but no one else seems to have gotten that and I am usually not good at BI guesses.

But I thought CC as the actress because she started as a minor, developed on the show (didn't she get very busty as she got older?), she still acts but in nothing major and she certainly doesn't seem to be out there promoting herself and looking for fame the way the Olsens or Sweetin have done since the show ended.

John Stamos for one of the actors she slept with-- I always got the impression he used to be a player/douche until he got his heart broken by Rebecca Romijn and then he cleaned up his act.

Maybe Dave Coulier for the closeted actor she had a relationship with? Or one of the actors with a minor role?

I just thought of Full House because it was a sitcom, targeted towards a younger audience but everyone seems to know and love it and I think it was in syndication until 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  61. This sitcom has to be well-known enough, since "Everyone remembers it". The fact that it went off the air "a few years ago", doesn't that mean a sitcom that went off the air in the 2000s? Who started as an underage female lead and was still on the show at 18 but not acting anymore since their show? Loved by everyone? I'm stumped.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Love the Blair from Facts of life guess!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Facts of Life went of the air more than a few years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  64. What about Ashley from Fresh Prince?

    ReplyDelete
  65. It's not Winnie Cooper. It says the show was a sit-com geared towards a younger audience. Wonder Years was about kids but it wasn't specifically geared towards kids. Plus, while it had elements of comedy, it wasn't a sit-com at all. It was more of a "dramedy" type of show--no cheesy sets, live audiences, etc. Not a sitcom at all.
That being said, I have no idea who this is but I feel like it's right in front of our faces!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Anonymous10:50 AM

Ashley went on to have a singing career.

    ReplyDelete
  67. OOh!!! Melissa Joan Hart!! Sabrina the Teenage Witch!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm sorry, I don't mean to just thwart everyone else's ideas, but I honestly can't think what this would be.

    ReplyDelete
  69. What about Lisa Dean Ryan? She played Doogie Howser's girlfriend Wanda. She hasn't done much if anything since that show ended.

    2. This is who I thought of immediately. Neil Patrick is gay. It does fit.

  70. Melissa Joan Hart is on a successful sitcom right now and I think she was already 18 when she started Sabrina.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I like the Doogie guess but when I googled her it looks like she has been acting as recently as 2005

    ReplyDelete
  72. I don't think it's Candace Cameron. The show wasn't centered around her, and she was a preteen when it started. I don't think anyone would have been looking at her at that point. That said, she's still in the public eye to some extent because she writes about raising her family, Christian living, etc.

Ditto with Lisa Whelchel. She was also in the Facts of Life reunion. You are also forgetting that there were very few regular male actors on the show. George Clooney and Mackenzie Astin were the only regulars, and Mackenzie is younger than Lisa. Also, she was born again even as a child, so I am inclined to say she didn't go cougaring after Astin.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anonymous10:55 AM

I don't think it's Candice Cameron. Remember the blind item about a month ago where the three leads try to sleep with the forbidden actresses. Candice was the one I think we all figured was really a good girl and didn't give into the creepers.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Winnie cooper (Danica McKellar) still works, albeit more low-key than earlier. She writes math books, too.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Anonymous10:55 AM

I like the Ashley from Fresh Prince guess, with Will Smith for the gay guy.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Hmmm CC is a good guess, and she was 19 when the show was over but according to IMDB she still acts.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Karrots I saw that too. But the blind says that she doesn't do much anymore. I think not acting since 2005 would make sense. It's not specific to when she stopped working, just that she's not working now.

    ReplyDelete
  78. THis is Topanga from Boy Meets World. Multiple Kids Choice Awards, her age fits (was 18 as the show ended), she dated Ben Savage, and aside from one National Lampoon movie bit role, she has done nothing. I remember people always talking about what a rack she had too.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Christina Ashley from Fresh Prince was already ruled out. She was 17 when the show ended. The blind says the show was still going on when the actress was 18.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Phillygrrl I don't think it can be Topanga because she's still actively working in TV.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Candace Cameron was on an ABC Family TV show just a year or two ago (might still be on it), so she's definitely still working.

    ReplyDelete
  82. What about Kelly Brown from "Hey Dude" (she played Brad. She disappeared from acting, I remember all of my brothers were in love with her, and the gay actor could be David Lascher.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hillary Duff is my guess.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Anonymous11:00 AM

I forget about Hey Dude. I loved that show growing up.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I thought maybe it is Laura Prepon from That 70's Show. But she done some work since then.

Poor thing. I feel so sorry for her.

    ReplyDelete
  86. 7th Heaven? Bethany Mitchell? Ended in 2007. That would be scandalous.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I know it's been awhile since Facts of Life was on, but I totally think it works here. Lisa W. fits this to a t. The older guys groping her weren't necessarily actors, and I actually think the blind implies that they were behind the scenes guys, like grips and whatnot (I definitely don't know who all is on a tv show set!)

As someone stated before, the two actors in the blind would have come along later in the series - when they were living above Mrs. Garrett's store.

Just don't let a vague term like "a few years ago" cloud your logic! Enty is always using vague timelines to keep things nice and legal like.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @MadLyb Hilary Duff played the title character in Lizzie Mcguire. The actress of this blind started the show as the minor. Can't be her.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Notice how the BV says when she got older and began to really develop? That's a clue - and Danielle Fishel's chest was a big topic of discussion when she got older. It's her.

    ReplyDelete
  90. What about Punky Brewster? She definitely developed as she got older but I don't remember her co-stars other than the old man and the dog.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Mischa Barton and the OC....
Looks like she started when she was 17.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Fresh Prince ended in 1996 and Boy Meets World ended in 2000. It says the sitcom in question ended "a few years ago". These shows are too old.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Masiela Lusha on George Lopez?

    ReplyDelete
  94. @Sparkwee, if the BV said she wasn't on TV anymore, I'd agree - but she isn't 'acting' - she last worked in March 2011 according to her Wiki - and that is for ANY type of showbiz work.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I'm going to still go with Laura from Family Matters. When the show started she was a teenager and was definitely over 18 when it ended. She became very beautiful as she grew on the show and by the end of it, she was definitely the star because almost every episode centered around her and Jaleel White's character and how he entered that machine that made him cool and not a dork anymore. (I obviously watched this show growing up.) I looked at her imdb and she definitely hasn't worked much. She's only done some guest work on series and an occasional small movie but nothing major.

    ReplyDelete
  96. @Karrots Tatiana Ali is a great guess

    ReplyDelete
  97. Lisa Dean Ryan who played the girlfriend on Doogie Howser MD. She hasn't really done anything since the series, and the closeted gay actor is a misdirection because it would be too obvious to say an openly gay actor since NPH is one of the most open and out actors.

I wouldn't really think that she was NEEDED for the show to go on, unless the show wanted to focus on her and Doogie geting married or having a child (I remember the big deal when they had sex and everyone freaked out over teen sex on TV) but I think it fits.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If she wasn't a lead character whose absence would stop the show, then it doesn't fit. Doogie only had one lead character.

      Delete
  98. @Phillygrrl the thing that throws me off about Danielle Fischel is that she did a National Lampoon movie... If she was ever worried about being groped or taken advantage of, I don't think she would have done that film.

I just don't think the blind is about her. She has been working consistently in show biz since Boy Meets World ended. The only lull in her career has been just this year.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Melissa yes, I totally agree. I'm sticking with it! I really think it has to be Lisa Dean Ryan.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Facts of Life also didn't really have a "lead" actress; it was an ensemble.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Gosh, I want to say Jamie Lynne Spears because she has done nothing since 2008, yes, I know she had a baby and all, but NOTHING? I don't think a lot of the clues fit, though. I don't think "everyone" no matter how hyperbolically (is that a word?) "everyone" is used, knows of Zoey 101.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I think that some people are misinterpreting the word "minor" here - he doesn't mean that the role started out as a minor (as opposed to lead) character; he means that the actress was under 18 when the show started and 18 or over when it ended.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Lisa Dean Ryan has done projects since Doogie Howser though.

    ReplyDelete
  104. It's a Guess Salad!!!

Wow you guys have really thrown it all out there. Rare that there is so little consensus on these.

    ReplyDelete
  105. @Jane it doesn't say the actress quit acting right after the show ended. It says that she doesn't do much anymore and doesn't work now. Lisa Dean Ryan hasn't worked since 2005 which is the longest of anyone that has been mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  106. It doesn't say that her saying no is what caused them to not do another season. It reads as if they could have done another season without her but decided not too.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I don't even remember Doogie's girlfriend but her IMDB has her working thru 2005 and Doogies was off the air in 1992. I think this is someone who was more of a lead. The blind says "she does not work".

    ReplyDelete
  108. @Jennifer H. The blind didn't doesn't say the reason show ended because the actress wanted to leave. It just says they decided not to do another season.

    ReplyDelete
  109. @sparkewee rue, but I don't really think of her as a lead and don't think she is acting now because she isn't that great. Towards the end of her career she took really small, one episode type roles.

    ReplyDelete
  110. It says a handsome producer, so we can rule out all Aaron Spelling productions. :)

    ReplyDelete
  111. @cricket61 Right, so she would still fit because she doesn't work. No where in the blind does it say she quit acting as soon as the show ended. It says present tense "she does not work". She doesn't do much anymore. It still fits if she hasn't worked since 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  112. enty " It went off the air a few years ago"

Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989–1993) - that was -gasp- 19 years ago?
That's more like a couple of decades ago ?

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Sparkwee, I agree the Nat Lampoon movie throws a twist in things - but one other thing to consider is that there are rumors that Matthew Lawrence is in the closet....?

    ReplyDelete
  114. LDR was also in seasons 1– 2 and reoccurring roles in 3. We wasn't in season 4. The blind reads like she stuck with the show until its end and it ended because she wasnt wanting to continue.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree. I think it reads like the show ended because of her not wanting to continue because that's what it says.

      Delete
  115. @Jane I think he's just being vague (as usual!) No, she wasn't the lead. But she was the closest thing to a female lead that show had! Besides the mom :P

    ReplyDelete
  116. What about Jodie Sweetin and Full House? She hasn't worked that much since it ended

    ReplyDelete
  117. @Phillygrrl I agree with you about Matt Lawrence!

    ReplyDelete
  118. This screamed Alexis Bedel (Gilmore girls) to me - until I checked imdb. Other than her still working currently (although sporadically), everything fits!

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Jane Yeah, I guess we're just reading into it differently.

    ReplyDelete
  120. As I stated above, it's not Danielle Fishel. This sentence 'Her experience left her so shattered she does not really do much anymore except live day to day and hang out with a few friends' does not fit her at all. As I said, she is on Twitter, she posts regularly, she responds to fans (she's responded to me quite cheerfully), she's doing a daily TV recap for MSN now. She's funny and outgoing, there is nothing about her that's fits this blind except her cup size.

Soleil Moon Frye is almost a good guess, except that she's not exactly a recluse either. She's a pretty popular 'mommy blogger' and recently had a collaboration with Target stores. That's not someone who's just keeping herself to the company of a few frineds.

  121. Soleil Moon Frye on Punky Brewster?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Alexis just did an almost topless scene in Mad Men. I can't imagine someone who had issues with being groped would do a scene like that, even with John Hamm. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  123. @spraklewee yeah, I think we are. She's definitely the best guess so far though :)

    ReplyDelete
  124. it sounds like Nikki Cox, she was engaged to Kevin Connely who was on Unhappily Ever After with her..she was with Bobcat Golthwait for god sakes...and is now married to Jay Mohr

    ReplyDelete
  125. @Agent**It Haha, yeah. But we could say that about everyone's guesses... Boy Meets World ended in 2000 - That's 12 years... Family Matters ended in 1998, etc, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Alexis Bledel was 19 when Gilmore Girls started.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Is it time for us to change the meanings of Enty's clues to fit our favorite guesses? When "left" means "right," "up" means "down," "doesn't work" means "does," "closeted" means "out," and "lead actress" means "supporting character." You know, to throw us off.

Obviously, this blind is about Dog the Bounty Hunter. Can't fool me, Enty, but nice try!

    1. THANK YOU. I know Enty *sometimes* fudges a detail in blinds, but people have started taking it way too far recently.

  128. Soleil Moon Frye wasn't even close to 18 during the run of Punky.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Also, this has to be a show where she was not only the main female lead but one of the only females on the show. The way this reads to me makes it sound like there was a lot of men and she was the only girl there, this being groped and gaga'd over. Like the only girl visiting an Army base type scenario.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Actually a lot of the pieces fit for Nikki Cox, both Connely and Goldthwait were on the show with her - she was engaged to Connely while on the show then with Goldthwait for a few years after the show...the show ran for 5 years - Ron Leavit was the producer - She did Las Vegas for 3-4 years so she did work afterwards but ..it fits her pretty well otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  131. @Sparkwee - yeah, Enty's math is sometimes quite interesting !

    ReplyDelete
  132. Nikki Cox was on las Vegas and has been on several other shows as a guest star.

LDR, besides DH being off the air forever doesn't have a very recognizable name. I think if everyone thought she was hot we'd recognize her name. plus while pretty, she wasn't that hot.

idk who It could be, but I don't think anyone has guessed I yet.

  133. I know Enty sometimes fudges the dates when saying "a few years" but I'm assuming this was in the 2000's and not the 90's. I went from Portia De Rossi in Arrested Development to Mila Kunis in That 70's show to nothing. The only show I can think of now is Freaks and Geeks. It was short-lived but had a huge cult following and Linda Cardellini was kind of worshipped amongst the nerdy community. She's done some work here and there but nothing major... it's all I've got.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Linda Cardellini was a featured player in ER for a few years. That seems kind of major to me.

I think Denise is right, we haven't guessed her yet.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Jennifer Freeman from My Wife and Kids

    ReplyDelete
  136. Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks were cancelled. The producers did not decide to end those shows

    ReplyDelete
  137. Honestly people, these are the worst guesses I've heard in my life. He clearly states "few years ago" so why are so many of you guessing shows from the 80s or 90s !!?

  139. I was thinking Marnette Patterson from Something So Right, but it doesn't really fit at all.

    ReplyDelete
  140. @Presto - Enty has admitted to fudging some details, such as the timeline of his blinds, just so that it isn't too obvious. So when he says "a few years," most of us know to take that with a grain of salt.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Oh of course...Danika McKeller in the photos today.

      still don't think its her.

  142. Amy Davidson from 8 Simple Rules?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Show: Roseanne

Actress: The girl that played Becky

    ReplyDelete
  144. Didn't Enty say as some point that he knew or had some sort of acquaintance with Britney? Am I imagining that? If so, I'm going with Jamie Lynn.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Also, it was a long running show..."years and years"
And if this person was married and had children, I would think that would have been mentioned...instead the blind says she hangs with her friends. that leave me to believe she is single.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Countess Vaughan from the Parkers?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Is Amanda Bynes possible?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Enty sometimes fudges the dates. This could have been a sitcom that went off the air 10 years ago.

I also thought of Applegate all the way up to the end.

I'm trying to think who was young and became a bombshell on a well known sitcom that everyone would still remember. It obviously was a very popular one, not a dinky little WB one.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Can't be Jamie Lynn. Zoey 101 ended before she was 18.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I like the Winnie Cooper guess.

    ReplyDelete
  151. regardless of who she is if she was a minor when the show started. WHERE ARE THE PARENTS TO PROTECT HER!!

    fuckers.

I hope whatever money she made off the show lets her live a comfortable life. Maybe she needs to hook up with the other blind item actress who sends "who's worthless now" photos for some self esteem boost.

    ReplyDelete
  152. If all the details were accurate and crystal clear it would be easy -

Show - Unhappily Ever After - on 5 years

Nikki Cox, Minor when she started but fully developed and very much a focus of the show

Nikki Cox - dated both Kevin Connely and Bobcat Goldthwait - both co-stars - Conelly while he was on the show and seems like a prick who would brag about taking her virginity

I am guessing Goldthwait is the gay one..

    ReplyDelete
  153. Really don't think it's Danica Mckella. Why would someone do Maxim magazine if they were shattered from years of groping and sexual harassment?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Miranda Cosgrove? Is iCarly still on?

    ReplyDelete
  155. Could have gone off the air ten years ago, yeah, MAYBE, but not twenty.

-Favorite of a lot of people
    -Everyone remembers it
    -Comedy
    -Younger audience
-Everyone in love with the FEMALE LEAD
-She was NEW to the experience and attention
-Actress started show as a minor

How many teenaged girls have had their own sitcom that was loved by all, not just the Disney channel types? Can't be too many of them.

  157. Winnie Cooper is in the photos.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I think the key phrase here is "She does not work" Danika McKellar works. She has a TV movie coming out this year.

    ReplyDelete
  159. NPH is indeed gay and he's open about it, unlike the gay co-star in the BI.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Anonymous12:30 PM

Just saw Winnie Cooper in the photos... Although Enty has to be smart enough to know that everyone will find the answer in the days photos. Or it could just be that I really don't want this to be about her.

    ReplyDelete
  161. The Wonder Years didn't stop on its own, it was cancelled by ABC, and I wouldn't really consider it a sitcom.

    ReplyDelete
  162. @tara17 Yes, NPH is openly gay. The closeted gay co-star would be Max Casella

    ReplyDelete
  163. Wonder Years was NBC and your right, it wasn't a sitcom.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Unhappily Ever After? Never heard of that show. Was it on for years and years? I think it's probably more of a sitcom that everyone has heard of and is more popular.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Well Winnie Cooper has just been nixed

    ReplyDelete
  166. "she does not work, and has thought about acting from time to time". Danica has acting credits steadily to 2012 and is currently in young justice (since 2010), as well as having a movie in post production. Doesn't sound like not doing much to me...

    ReplyDelete
  167. @JSierra I agree, her IMDb shows her pretty busy.

    ReplyDelete
  168. @Unknown, Nikki Cox did that Vegas show with Josh Duhamel and is now married to Jay Mohr. Wouldn't be her.

    ReplyDelete
  169. tealily said...
    MJH still acts.

I think that you are being generous with the word "acts"...

    ReplyDelete
  170. Unhappily ever after was a spin off of Married with Children - where bobcat goldthwait played the bunny's voice - it was on for 5 years - Nikki Cox was not even the focus of the show but soon became the focus and they even wrote the mom out of the show....but hey guess away..afaik she fits a lot of the puzzle pieces...I mean is being married to Jay Mohr a prize or something that excuses from a bad life lol?

    ReplyDelete
  171. Amanda Bynes people. Amanda Bynes. Remember Dan Sneider was there too, the set had to be very toxic. And she was the star, show couldn't go on without her. And there were lots of male co-stars. It would explain the mess she has become as an adult.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I don't even remember ever watching Unhappily Ever After, was it considered a show people would remember? I think she has worked too much for this to be her.

    ReplyDelete
  173. The Amanda Show wasn't a sitcom. It was a sketch show. And there was already a blind about What I like About You. Amanda was super promiscuous and she and Jennie Garth hated each other. This blind isn't about Amanda Bynes.

    ReplyDelete
  174. @cricket The only reason I remember Unhappily Ever After is due to Nicki Cox's... assets.

    ReplyDelete
  175. I'm thinking '00s comedy, not anything earlier. What show was really big with kids in the last decade besides Disney and Nick tween-coms?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Lark Voorhees from Saved By the Bell
Dated Mark-Paul Gosselaar - lost virginity?
    Mario Lopez - came out?
Franco Bario -producer for whole series. Can't find picture online, but maybe the handsome producer she had the affair with.
Really hasn't done anything since the show.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Danielle Fishel volunteers at a community center for *several* hours each week organizing field trips and activities for the kiddos, all without fanfare or pay (check the "Blind Items Revealed" tag). That doesn't sound like "just living day to day" to me.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I don't think it's anyone from Saved By the Bell because they didn't end the show when the original cast left. They just renamed it Saved By the Bell - The New Class and got new kids.

And they also tried out Saved By The Bell College Years with the original cast.

    ReplyDelete
  179. It has to be a show we would all know...and I don't know ANY Nick or Disney comedies. This has got to be network.

My first thought from the description was Doogie Howser, but I really do think we should be thinking of a newer show. If you have to work too hard to fit your answer, then it's probably wrong.

I wish I knew sitcoms of the 00's.
