I Can't Wait Until Live X Factor Shows

I think X Factor could be the greatest reality show of all time. I don't care about the singing and the contestants, I will watch every episode just to watch Britney Spears. All of us know something is going to happen and I want to watch it live as it happens. On Friday Britney walked off the X Factor set again for some Britney time. Apparently Simon doesn't have a problem with this and then presumably he won't have a problem when Britney decides to have some Britney time during a live show and maybe even during a performance. Oh, and it doesn't even need to be one of the live performances. Some of the early episodes that are taped are hours long. Britney is not sitting through that. Plus, people are forgetting Demi Lovato. She has been great so far and I think she will be on the show as long as they will keep her unlike Britney who will be one and done. But, Demi could also want some Demi time later this season. That is not out of the question.

  1. I think it's dick that everyone wants to see her fail. It's clear she has mental issues, so why is everyone so keen on watching her burn at the stake? You wouldn't make fun of someone with down syndrome...

On that note, I'm seeing the X-factor taping in June! I can't wait to report back!

  2. I agree. I think that Brit Brit still has another trainwreck in her.

  3. @strawberrygirl

I just think that Britney shouldn't be judging this show. Someone who is mentally unstable probably shouldn't be on a show with such high stress. I think that people (producers) were hoping for this on some level.

  4. Britney just finished a world tour without a major hitch. Besides, Simon is a bigger diva than she is, and I imagine he's designed the experience to be rather cushy for the judges in terms of personal space.

  5. Whatever floats your boat. Watching Britney, expectantly waiting for her mental challenges to trip her up is not my idea of entertainment. Between that and her lip synching presence as a judge of live singers really does relegate this flailing wannabe talent show to reality TV status.

  6. Maybe I haven't wiped my eyes well this morning (slept late) but Britney sure looks like Heidi Klum here.

  7. ^She does look weird there. Huh.

  8. I still think people are hyping this way up more than needs to be.

She will be fed what to say,and I think Simon will change things around so the Judges don't get put in positions like Nicole did last year.

This is the easiest 15 million dollars a person can make.

But I do agree, Britney won't be back next year. She just needs some cash and didn't want to tour next year.

  9. Never liked the smugness of Simon Cowell, but now I really wonder if he any moral fibre at all as a human being. Britney appears to still need care and putting her under this stress so that he can get ratings is just sick. I'm assuming this because she doesn't appear to need the money, but he really needs the spotlight. Can we please send him back to the UK.

  10. I don't know. I think she may be alright doing this. I would think her father and fiance wouldn't want to put her in a bad spot to make her lost it again. I would hope.

  11. Britney has some nice white teeth for a woman that consumes gallons of soda, fraps and cheetos. I'll give her that.

  12. Britney judging a singing contest is like Stevie Wonder judjing a painting contest.

  13. Brit is looking very heavily medicated in that photo....

  14. Look at that body language between these two. I say it's love.

Simon's shirt actually fits him. It doesn't look like it's strangling his body like his other clothes do. Go on with your bad self, Simon. Maybe it's just that Brit is good for him. ;)

  15. At least you guys get Britney, we're stuck with Geri Halliwell and bloody Louis Walsh!!

  16. Dem and Brit are basically being used by Simon to boost the ratings of his sucky show. Xfactor is just one show in a glut of music talent contest shows.

Simon is desperate to keep this show on the air so he needs to judges that will cause drama. From what I seen Demi went out of her way to get this gig, her summer tour was planned around the first tapings of this show. I do not think both will be back next year, for one this show might not have a next year, last seasons ratings were CRAP. So far Demz is holding her own, does she really have the XP to mentor talent, do not get me started on Brit.

  17. This show is crap and done! Stick a fork in it already. There are just too many shows like this out there.

Brit Brit will not last through the "grooming" process of the contestants either. Could you imagine her dealing with that? This is not a show where she can just say,"hmm that was nice" like Jblow.

    It's done.

  18. @blankverse, I've had the same change of opinion of Simon as a result of these two hires (Britney and Demi). He couldn'tve picked two more mentally fragile human beings if he had tried.

  19. Does anyone else see a tiny arm with a watch between Brit and Simon??

    What the hell is that?

  20. I too have a problem with someone who doesn't sing live judging others who do. That just seems so wrong and unfair. And just because she went on tour doesn't mean there weren't things that happened that no one knows about--and I can bet there are a lot of them.

  21. Is it wrong to like Demi Lovato? I find myself cheering for her through thick and thin and through Wilmer and sanity. I want her to succeed. This may be a good niche for her.

  22. The trouble with entertainment industry: will use and abuse anyone. Sad stuff.

  23. If he's going to continue wearing shirts like that, I wish Simon would at least hit the gym on occasion. Britney isn't smiling in that picture so much as she's baring her teeth the look in her eyes says it all.

  24. Amanda, that's a person in the audience behind them.

I too am cheering for Demi Lovato. I think she has real talent and a decent voice. Unfortunately, she has a terrible, terrible team around her, including her mother.

Yes, Simon is absolutely exploiting these two women for their built in fan bases in an attempt to save this show. Hopefully, somewhere in that crew are two people who are there just to keep on eye on these ladies and make sure they are okay.

    1. Haha, thank you. It still looks weird to me but probably just time for an eye check-up :)

  25. Sad existence if the highlight of the day is seeing a mentally ill puppet crash and burn...

  26. everybody said the same thing when Paula Abdul was going to come back as a judge on the XFactor. Wait for the train wreck. And nothing happend she added nothing to the show. I don't think Britney will either.

  27. I think it's sad that people have already written britney off based on pure speculation. The discouragement is really undeserved. I also think that she's been in the business long enough to recognize talent and a real performer.

  28. Britney has shown that she can't handle her life. Her conservatorship has been the best thing in her life since she was 12, and hopefully having her new guy as part of it won't let her get too messed up.

  29. I stopped watching this show during the first episode because the audience were constantly mic'd. It was medium-sized roar throughout the whole show peppered by louder roars when the auditioning singers did something that the audience liked. Very annoying.

  30. I think it's terrible that so many people think it's a laugh that someone who's mentally ill might have a break-down on live television. (Not on this site specifically, I mean all over the Internet.) I can't imagine people talking the same way if Britney had a non-mental medical condition. Can you imagine? "Ha ha, Britney's got a heart condition, so maybe she'll go into cardiac arrest on TV! Woot woot, I can't wait! That would be awesome!"

I actually loathe Britney and would never buy her CD or anything like that but it just makes me sad that in this day and age, so many people still treat mental illness like a freak show to watch and giggle at.

  31. She really could have just needed a bathroom break that wasn't scheduled. And this could also just be a publicity stunt. I am not too worried about her. Can she be any worse than slurring Paula?

  32. I always want Britney to get better, I basically grew up with her music (nah, ok little older than that, but okay:P). I remember being really sad around her head-shaving days, and I'm not even a fan. All the people gathering and joking about Brit being insane and probably dying soon made me sick.

I'm sure she is on a lot of meds right now, and this gig that involves a lot of stress is not a good idea imo. Also the amount of focus you have to have constantly; you have to say something of substance after every performance, how the hell is she gonna do that? She looks out of it most of the time, anti-psychotics and other heavy meds do that.. How can u focus, listen and say something of substance?

And lets be honest; Brit isn't a very good singer, yeah a great performer, but she is not really the person to judge someone's singing-qualities.

She was just hired to get more viewers, and the producers know most people will watch to see Brit fail/act out of it, not because they want to hear her commenting on the singers. J.lo has the same fame but don't think she has as many viewers on her show compared to Britney. Because B is sensational; a trainwreck waiting to happen and people want to sit frontrow when that happens.

  33. @ 0_0: I'm still creeped out by the fact her new man has control of her conservatorship now (or soon). How can that ever be an equal relationship?

I find it kind of creepy. She obviously needs someone who sort of controls her life, think her dad is a better person for that, and he did a good job the last few years as it appears. Her dad seems like a man who wants the best for his girl, unlike her mom who is like Dina Lohan.

A boyfriend/husband has other interests than a father, not saying her man is necessarily a bad guy, but still.. It just doesn't seem right. a relationship should be between equals, not someone who has every asset to control the other person.
