Jake Gyllenhaal Parties With Jay-Z

When Jay-Z is looking for some guys to hang out and watch a basketball game with, I didn't know Jake Gyllenhaal was the first name he picks out of his phone. Did you know that? Well, apparently he is and Jay and Jake were hanging out in some private section of a club watching a basketball game and the next thing you know Beyonce's mom stopped by and Solange so then of course the party ratcheted down a few notches and Pharell Williams, who was there had to stop telling his stories on the road because he has a thing for Solange and wants her to think he is going to bed at 10pm on the road and finding a church for the mornings. Jake and Jay-Z? Seriously?

  1. Based on Jake's appearance on Bear Grylls, I'd say he's a bit of a man's man, probably fun to hang out with. And that's about as far as I see that friendship going, but it was worth the "being seen with" for someone I'm sure.

  2. Toothy's just looking for a little street cred. Hopes that Jay-Z can help bump him up a few notches on the hetero meter.

  4. My mind was blown a long ass time ago, thinking of Chris Martin and Gwyneth being besties with freaking Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Though I'm still surprised by the Chris and Jay-Z pairing I'm no longer surprised by the Gwynnie and Beyonce pairing. Two uptight holier than thou bitches go together like peanut butter and jam- the cunt edition.

  6. and though I know Jakey is gayer than a rainbow bandana wrapped around Richard Simmon's head, I'd still totally hit it.
(what can I say? He had me in Donnie Darko)

  9. Jake may have met JayZ in some way when visiting his sister Maggie who lived in Prospect Heights in Brooklyn and now lives in Park Slope -- a stone's throw from the new Barclay arena. JayZ is from Brooklyn, probably keeps an office there, esp. now that he owns a small piece of the basketball team (the Brooklyn Nets) moving there from NJ.

I know gays and straights are all "Kumbaya" and shit since Obama's declaration.

But only gay/downlow men "hang out" with other gay men.

And yes Jake Gyllennhaal, AKA "Toothy Tile" (look it up) is gay.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. (well, there is, but we can't say that anymore without people having conniptions)

  15. Maybe Jake is a fan of rap music and loves 99 Problems.

Maybe J is his favorite rap artist and asked if he could meet him.

  17. Or maybe Jay-Z is part of the population who doesn't care of a guy is gay and is happy to be friends with him.

Maybe they vibe because they are both new yorkers in the entertainment business. They do have that in common.

  24. Mike- It's not that "you can't talk that way anymore" it's that you can't think that way. It's discriminatory, and there'snothing wrong with being gay. You're a bigot.

  25. You do know that if there was a hint of Jay-Z being gay other rappers would have laid into him. Non-story.

  28. @bunnymother "you can't think that way".

I disagree with Mike but I disagree more with that statement. This is still the USA and we are allowed to have an opinion and our own thoughts, even if it is a differing one than yours.
