Man Has 30 Kids - Pays $1.50 In Child Support Which He Says Is Too Much

This is probably one of my favorite stories in the past few months. It absolutely blows my mind and can't believe this has not been aired as some very special Jerry Springer. There is a man in Tennessee who has fathered 30 children. The man is 33 years old. He has fathered children with 11 different women so many of these women have decided the guy, who makes minimum wage is some kind of catch and are willing to make more babies with him. His oldest child is 14. In two separate years he fathered four children. This means he has fathered 29 children in 13 years. So, approximately two babies a year since then. In 2009 he was hauled into court because he had not been paying child support. He told the judge he was finished having babies at that time. Since that 2009 court appearance he has fathered 9 more children. So, he is upping his productivity. He currently pays child support that is as low as $1.49 a month. Yes, you read that right. Guess who pays to take care of the rest. The state of course. Well, even though he is only paying $1.49 to some of the women, Desmond Hatchett is asking the court to lower his child support payments because he can't afford to live. The state takes half his paycheck and divides it out. Here is what I suggest. He go get himself a vasectomy and another job. He only works one job so that way he will have time to make more babies. If I am the judge I tell him to find a way to live on a half a paycheck because even though the state can't order him to stop having kids, they sure can try to make sure he pays as much as possible and not let him off the hook.

  1. $1.49? Not worth the paper, ink, or the stamp it took to send it.

  2. Someone should tie a knot in that guys dick, cuz' I'm sure he wouldn't wear a rubber if he had a case of them. I have a problem with the women folk too who have to have heard about this guy and they don't use birth control?

What a sorry mess, I can't believe his gene pool is the one you want to dip into for your kids.

    1. No hon, ignorant BITCHES. Look, if you're not the mother of the first-born , well, then your child will not have priority with the state child support agency. They kept having babies with him!

The stupidity of those women not only astounds me, it makes me ashamed to be a female.

  7. @Em - yeah, what's the deal with that? Mr. Frufra had one, and it was literally one day with a bag of frozen peas on the affected area, then back to business. He signed right up for one when he found out me getting my tubes tied meant two weeks of me not being able to pick up more than five pounds or whatever it is (we had two little ones) :-).

To be fair, he had volunteered for the v before we ever even had kids, cause it's just the smart way to go. Most men, even educated ones, are so dumb about it.

  8. And this whole story here, I just can't get my head around the magnitude of stupid. Not to mention all those innocent kids born to this uber-loser. I hope they have some viable father-figure in their lives :-(.

  9. If you haven't seen the film Idiocracy yet, please watch it. You can see the future of the human race. This guy and his baby mamas are just getting us there faster.

Sometimes the stupidity in this world of ours overwhelms me and I don't want to go outside.

  10. Be careful Frufra, my neighbor had her tubes tied and is now living rent free (courtesy of her dr.) because she has a newborn (had the tubes tied 18 months ago.) Don't think her boyfriend had the V, though. All I know is it was quite a shock when she discovered she was pregnant again (already had 2 under the age of 5)

    1. Tubal ligations like vasectomies have a margin of error. However it also depends on how you do it. You can have the end of the tubes cauterized but then there is zero chance for reversal. I chose that route and it was very successful.

  12. Unfortunately, this seems to be the future of the world. I work part-time in a community college with students who have about two to three kids with guys who have about eight to ten. The stories astound me. When one student found out I was a first time mother at 40 she told me her mother was a grandmother by that age! I had to stop working there because it was so depressing.

  13. I'm glad "fathers" is in quotation marks, since obviously he's merely a sperm donor.

As to why more men won't get snipped: it seems to come down to their sense of virility being inextricably linked to being able to impregnate women (in the same way that some women don't feel like "a real woman" if they can't have a baby, but even more so), plus a lot of guys just get oogied out by the idea of any kind of sharp surgical instrument near their junk. (OK, I understand that part.) There's no excuse, though, for not using condoms correctly and consistently, which is something this idiot obviously didn't do.

What I really don't understand is why all these women thought he was such hot shit that they were not only willing to sleep with him, but have his children to boot, most of them multiple times...THAT I just don't get! Are there really that many women so desperate to feel validated because they "have a man" that they'll take the first one that comes along? Is he hung like a horse, and they're all totally dickmatized as a result? It's sure as hell not because he's filthy rice or provides incredible genetic material, that's for damn sure. I just don't get it...

  14. Just saw the clip...boy, that reporter sure as hell isn't terribly impressed with Mr. Stud Farm of Knoxville, is she? If it were up to her, I have no doubt he'd have gotten the snip a looooooong time ago!

  15. ^^filthy *rich*, not filthy rice...

Oh, and not to mention that the sex probably isn't that great to boot...ladies, there's a thing called a vibrator; I strongly suggest you check out any one of a number of excellent sites that provide such items, and pick out the one that you think would most likely rock your world. Yes, a really good one will cost a bit of money, but it's still a damn sight cheaper than another kid!

  16. When I think of this idiot, and those stupid 11 women, I weep for the future of our country. The average IQ is dropping 10 points per generation, instead of going up.

  17. @Robin the Mad Photographer, these people aren't making decisions to have children. They don't give it that much thought. They have sex. They get pregnant. They don't care. The taxpayers are providing food, clothing, and shelter for ALL of them. I'm not a screaming TeaParty nutjob who hates poor people, but I am rightfully infuriated by people who just breed without anymore forethought than stray dogs. Plus, I live in Tennessee, so I am double outraged as a taxpayer. Although, most welfare money is from the federal government so all Americans are paying for these idiots to make babies. As a fellow Tennessean, I'm paying extra for all their medical needs through TennCare.

    1. I totally agree with your sentiments! "They have sex. They get pregnant. They don't care."
I studied this in school while getting my bachelor's & master's & am currently deciding on going for the long haul & getting a PhD.
When I try to explain this to family/friends, they do not understand. That some people are so ignorant they literally don't know any better.

My husband is from Louisiana and his Mom had him at 17, his grandmother her at 17 and so on. I do have a 7 stepdaughter who he had when he was 17 and I pray every single day she breaks the cycle. She is being educated in a great school & we talk about these kinds of things. She is a very bright and sweet young gi and I hope she does break the cycle. It is heartbreaking to see people make babies and think nothing of it. It is almost a right of passage in certain communities, especially in the deep south it seems. You aren't a "grown-ass man or woman" until you've made a baby or two.

Making a baby doesn't make you a man or woman, being a provider, parent and nurturer does.

Yep, sad state of affairs indeed.

  21. Yp, Mr. Frufra had the double trouble, cut and cauterize, never to be reversed vasectomy. He had to sign a waiver. He happily did.

Robin and RJ, I second your thoughts on the subject.

  22. This is not stupid. This is psychopathy. Psychopaths regularly abandon their children. They have no conscience. They view other people as prey or trophies. And they are polluting the gene pool. They have polluted the adoption pool. There needs to be more education about this. Not everyone has the capacity to be a good caring human.

Half of his paycheck goes to child support. Since he only gets paid minimum wage, most of these women get $1.50 a month for child support.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think he deserves to lose his paycheck and the women deserve $1.50 per kid bc they also need to be punished for being stupid enough not to close their legs. they're all idiots and deserve to suffer together.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Does that mean he makes less than $100 a month? Is that legal? And why would a lady want to sleep with a guy who had such a lame job?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sad. So much suffering already in the world, why bring more and more children into it? Poor kids, they're the only ones that suffer when the parents live for their lives only. I wish the government would offer free birth control and vasectomies for those who want it - not saying he wants it, but all his salary *should* be going to his kids and only his kids. You made your bed, now lie in it. Not how this world works though, unfortunately. Just a truly sad state of affairs.

  31. I would be more than happy to bring a child of my own into this world. Thing is, I can afford to do so. I also have the common sense of a goose to choose a male that will remain and help me raise said child.

"Trapping" a guy makes me sick. As does knowing there is a walking penis just waiting for the next idiot willing to spread her legs.

    Color me judgemental.

  35. THIS is why we need widespread sex education, more funding for women's healthcare along with easy availability of condoms and other forms of birth control in this country. There also has to be more choices for women, including the option of terminating a pregnancy. Instead, our Congress and politicians in many states are trying to severely limit women's choices by defunding Planned Parenthood and cutting tax payer dollars that go to help women and increasing the budgets to fight Wars on proper nouns.

Not that it would prevent this from happening altogether, but it might help pare it down a bit. I think in this particular instance, lack of education and poverty are huge factors. When it comes to working a minimum wage job and barely surviving or having a few kids so you can get state assistance - which do you think women living in poverty with few options are going to choose? It also makes life more interesting if you can have drama going in with your fellow baby mamas.

    @nolachickee - "Idiocracy" is a documentary.

  36. Spending more tax dollars to sexually educate these morons is not the answer. These women are scammers and the tax payers are on the hook for more welfare, food stamps, sec8 and medicaide. This is a scam played by more and more people to get free money and benefits so they don't need to work. If you know how to play the system you can network with other and have lots of money to spend of whatever you want. I live amongst it.Throwing more money at it will not work. Sadly.
