You know what this summer needs? It needs three months of Charlie Sheen parties; meltdowns; missing cars; and toilet papering of the Maloof's house. Apparently Charlie Sheen is back to partying and drinking and there are hints and suggestions that Brooke suffered a relapse at Charlie's house during one of his parties. He is trying to set the world record for number of porn stars he can have sex with in one weekend and his neighbors have threatened to start calling the police if the parties don't start getting a little quieter.
Just when things were starting to get boring! The story I read said that Brooke was on a four-day binge with him over Mother's Day, that's what put her in rehab again.

Delete@aunt, I agree. He seems extremely ill, but the sad reality of mental illness is so many times the affected person can't see it, and there's only so much loved ones can do to intervene.

ReplyDeleteThe neighbors THREATENED to call the police about the noise? I never threaten about stuff like that. I just call the police. Every night if necessary. I don't give a damn who my neighbors are - I bought a house so I can have peace & quiet - if I want a party, I'll go to a club.

@anita - no worries, you weren't preachy. I do think he's ill, but I also agree that he's had a world of chances, and ultimately his behavior is on him. Been there with a family member. Beyond horrible and frustrating as hell.

I feel sorry for all involved in this, too, especially the kids. That being said, I have to admit I'd love to be at one of these parties.

ReplyDeleteI agree. Why do f*ckheads have kids if they never want to grow up? Are they supposed to be little trophies or something? It's not that hard to take a (contraceptive) pill. If you can smoke/shoot/snort crack daily you can't take an effing birth control pill??? You can still f*ck away- just don't bring any babies into the world you're not willing to sacrifice for...

DeleteThere are plenty of people who don't think things through before they have kids, and addicts are even less likely to do that than the average person. Addicts often stop developing emotionally when they start using, so it can be almost impossible for them to do any sort of if/then type reasoning.
