Miss Pennsylvania USA Says Miss USA Is Rigged

Miss Pennsylvania USA has resigned from her position and says Miss USA is rigged. She posted to her Facebook account that prior to the night's activities, another contestant had seen the list of the top 5. Then, when the field was whittled down to 16, she named the top 5 in order to some of the other contestants before it happened. I don't doubt it her. I don't doubt that the organizers know exactly who the top 5 are going to be before the show. I do think though that who comes from the top 5 and in what order is probably left to the celebrity judges. They ask their questions and make their judgment from those 5 though so they don't screw it up too bad. As to how you get to be in that top 5? The same way you get to be in the top 5 every week in Toddlers & Tiaras. It is who you know and making sure the real judges can check off their little boxes.

The Miss USA pageant says Miss Pennsylvania resigned because she did not agree with allowing of transgendered contestants be in the contest and say they have the e-mail although they have not released it. They have released what they say are the contents and in it Miss Pennsylvania says she does not agree with the decision to include transgender contestants.

  1. That's a real shocker, Miss Pennsylvania.

  2. Didn't hear about the transgender angle. If that's the truth, what a bitch.

  3. I totally believe it. I remember reading an older Jackie Collins novel where she had that same scenario in a plot line. See, she DOES take her stuff from real insider info. LOL

  4. She's probably just mad the transgendered woman makes a better looking woman than she does.

  5. It does seem that the pageant's decision to include a transgender among the contestants is at least partially what this is about, but her decision to wait to resign until the day AFTER it was clear to her that she wouldn't be this year's winner calls her credibility into question imo. I kind of sense a sore loser with a plan to grab headlines regardless.

  6. I don't doubt it, but I wonder if she would have said anything if she made the top 5.

  7. I think every awards show/pageant on tv is fixed.

  8. Maybe this will warrant a Congressional inquiry, a la steroids in baseball. What is the criteria for those inquiries? Does Congress really have time for that?

  9. In other top news, water is still wet.

  10. The quiz show scandals of the 50s make it unlawful to rig contests to favor a contestant, so yeah, congress did spend time on this matter.

  11. If she wanted to resign over T, she should've done it earlier. But she didn't confirm the Top until too late, right?

What defines TG for the pageants now? Will mere self-identification be enough?

  12. If I found out the secret, pre-decided finalists beforehand from someone who saw it, I'd wait until after to say something, too. What if the info was wrong?

I'm more surprised that anyone still watches this boring shit.

  15. Good point nunaurbiz. In fact, pageant shows are all so utterly formulaic, I'm tempted to call them the original reality tv.

  18. I dont agree with them being allowed on either. You can take pills, have surgery, "feel" like they are on the inside...Do whatever you like, but your still a guy. They can pretend all they want, it doesnt change facts. That sounds cold hearted to the people who agree with it, but it is what it is no matter how much you want to pretend.

P.S. It wouldnt surprise me at all if its rigged.

    1. I agree with you. What are they going to say when males get sex changes to become female and start playing pro- sports. I'm sure female pro-athletes won't appreciate it.

  21. @ImUrDaddy84, you're confusing pretending with self identifying as a female. Consider the babies who are born with both sets of genitalia. Parents with only the best of intentions have scheduled surgery to choose a sex for them at too young an age, only for the family to be confronted later in life with a teen who identifies as the gender they didn't choose. I believe both gender identification and sexual preference are similar in that regard.

  22. I have a feeling the people running the Miss USA pageant are trying to discredit Miss PA, so it would take the focus off of the rigged pageant and people would be too busy hating her, rather than listening to her.

  23. What???!!! A contest based on tits and ass rigged??!! Oh, it can't be!!!!! Please! I, too cannot believe anyone watches or carez about this 100% irrevelent nonesense!

  24. Either way, they shouldn't have allowed the people born men in the pageant. It just doesn't make sense.

  28. I agree with miss usa. Transgendered shouldn't be allowed to compete in miss usa

  29. it bothers me because now trump, aka mr evil himself, is now saying the woman is a "loser". why can't he address the issue. anytime anyone is on the opposite side of an issue with trump, he calls them a "loser" and the press refers them that way. rosie, cher, this woman. address te issue. even IF the woman has other reasons for her actions, what she said about the 5 names being known before hand should be addressed.

  30. Hah! If the transgender issue is such a big deal for her, maybe they shouldn't allow contestants who've had any cosmetic surgery. Would she agree with that? doubt it...

    ReplyDelete
  31. See, that's the thing. If you're genetically female and your boobs look more fake than those of the the TG contestant you're protesting against, aren't you kinda humiliating yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't say as I blame her. Most Transgendered folks are better looking than I'll ever be. I am betting in about 5 years the Transgender community will have a lock on all beauty pageants they're allowed to participate in.

  33. I should say I am joking up there...

  34. I think if she doesn't agree about the TG thing, then she doesn't. I believe just like the CO$ is letting Johnny Boy suffer, that the Miss USA pageant is putting this out there to discredit her and redirect the issue that she brought up.

My thing is this (a personal opinion). If someone doesn't agree with it, fine. She's not out attacking them physically or rallying in a dangerous way. She's simply stating her opinion.

I think that sometimes trying to be PC is a pain and if you truly don't buy into what the current PC trends are, you will be told that you're close-minded, a bigot, etc.

It's just an opinion of a gal with a set of bolt-ons and some plastic work done.

  35. Della: That's already been an issue, 30+ years ago, with Renee Richards. As it turned out, she was a decent tennis player, but not good enough to have the female champions shaking in their sneakers, but it was a HUGE stink back in the day.

As for TG folk making better-looking women, an electrologist I used to know who worked on a lot of transwomen (she was one of the few in that town who would) pointed out that we could probably all look that amazing, too, if we spent as much time on ourselves in that regard as they do. Personally, I'm just not that worried about it...

  36. @angel, Im not trying to start an argument but I do want to address what you said. The 1st part "you're confusing pretending with self identifying as a female" is such a broad statement. Theres really too many variables to such a broad statement that I wont try to argue that point other than what I said before. They can "self identify" whatever they wish, it doesnt make it fact.

The second part of surgeries opposite of how they feel inside...That is such a small sample size. Your making another broad statement and passing it off as a high occurring instance. Yes it does happen, but it really is no where near as rampant of an issue as you make it sound. Its such a small %.
