I think Sofia Vergara is still looking to see if she can see anything in the reader photo above.
Avril Lavigne because she is edgy. Kind of like the day you decide to try gum that is not sugar free.

  9. Hey Reader #5- I've never said this before to a man (okay I have but never over the internet ;) but nice legs!

Also, could Avril (gag with that name)get ANY skinnier?? I think when you can actually see the indent of one's mandible it's time to re-think your diet regime. Holy protruding skeleton batman!

  10. I"m digging reader #5.

    Love the all reader pics.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Reader #5: Are you wearing that kilt properly, as in "regimental"? ;-)

(I've been told by male friends who also wear kilts than it's more uncomfortable to actually wear underwear under a kilt than to just freeball it.)

  12. Reader #5 is hot. REVEAL YOURSELF!!!!

    Love Reader #1 photo.

    ReplyDelete
  25. DAMN, ladies! Here's another THUMBS UP to reader #5! Woot woot! Love me some lean, hairy man-legs.

Reveal thyself! Or reveal thyself by fully lifting the kilt in another photo---CDAN harassers MUST be satisfied!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Och, laddie #5 is a fellow Campbell! I favor the auld tartan as well. But where is your sian dhu, lad? You're not properly dressed wi'out one.

So, the kilt does it for you ladies, eh? Maybe I'll add a shot of me in a kilt to my Match profile.

    ReplyDelete

    Looking good readers!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Wow, I am #5 and I'd blush if I had the gene for it! Thank you all.

I normally wear the kilt "regimental" but as this was a family-oriented gathering of clans, I was afraid I'd flash wee bairns (kids) inadvertently. I dunno how you ladies sit in skirts all the time. Good for you!

Congrats to B. Profane on spying and naming the family tartan. In fact I had the kilt handmade in Inverary. Now of course the sgian-dubh (a dagger) is present on my right calf, it's just not visible in the picture ya wanker.

Thank you Momma Bear but I am AARP eligible so it's not clear who would be cougaring whom.

Lastly, let me spread some lovin' on Readers 1 - 4. Peace!!

Hey Winchester, you are now on my scrolling screensaver. Yummy!

    Oh, Avril, you're sooooo edgy!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Bairn, that's a northern Scott expression no? I loved how my grandpa called us bairn, wee, lass... :)

Oh, and I need Sofia's dress. NEED IT!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Huuum... Love the kilt reader!! Who are you?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Salon, do you ever get guff from MacDonalds? "Remember Glencoe!"

One of these days I'll have to spring for a proper kilt. 'Tis an impressive kit to wear to a wedding.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Edgy my ass...Avril looks STRUNG OUT...did she get hooked on something?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Avril desperately needed a style update, but Ke$ha 2.0? Come on.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Avril needs to just stop. Gawd she bores me...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Someone please tell me where I can buy Sophia's dress.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wow! Number 5 looks hot!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @MommaBear, ditto !! @Salon deWinchester - also enjoying your art gallery.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Salon deWinchester: squeeeeee!

Hot bod, AND old enough to be interesting? Le sigh. Ever come to the Midwest?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Where to start... @B.P. The MacDonalds have never given me any grief but McDonalds has given me indigestion many times. @Libby, I think I wake up every day in the Midwest's leading city. And I love it. @Agent**lt, thank you so much for saying so... I wondered if any CDAN readers would click through from profile to the blog and my gallery. And BTW, this week's painting was based on me after a visit to the "fat booth" app! I'm still a lean 150.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Lookin' good, y'all!

    ReplyDelete
  46. *sigh...#5 you have made my day. There's just something about a man in a kilt. Much love to readers 1-4 too!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anyone know how to get #5 to email me a pic with that kilt up? Lol

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hello good lookin' readers!

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Salon (may I call you Salon?): Love your gallery and agree w/your politics...I don't suppose we could convince you to come out to Boston some time, could we? ;-)

Oh, and as for how we ladies manage w/skirts: my trick is to wear longer skirts so you can just drape a fold of it between your knees (that's more or less what you did in your photo) or wear shorts underneath (bike or lingerie, depending on the weather, my mood, and what I have to accomplish), with tights the cool weather option.

(Thank God for opaque tights, or else the episode where I accidentally tucked part of my black broomstick skirt into the back of my black tights and inadvertently showed everyone in the Atlanta bus station my ass at 6 a.m. would have been even more embarrassing! It was late January 1995, and I'd just been awake all night after seeing my first NIN show and getting to attend the afterparty, which didn't break up until after 5ish--I was at the Hound Pound to catch a bus back to Athens--so I think I was allowed to be a bit fuzzy-brained there...)

  54. Hi readers!
Also adding myself to the people who love Sofia's dress. I wish I had her dress and her figure to fill it out.
I am getting a good chuckle out of the comments directed towards reader #5. I am wondering if it was a female getting all of the good- natured comments how some readers would react.

    ReplyDelete
  55. RE: Salon... hahaha. I loved your AARP / Cougar comment.
