Emily Maynard Already Wants Another Show

Emily Maynard has picked her future husband and is enjoying her new found fame and celebrity so much that she already wants another show to document her wedding plans. Considering the tradition of these couples never making it to the altar, it sounds like it could be the longest running show ever. So, when they break up, she will say she wants another show which follows her around while she dates and basically she wants to be another Kim Kardashian but from the South and without the sex tape thing.

  2. Emily sounds awful from the rings I've read about her.

  3. Just say no, Andy. Just say no.

*grabs lapels* Please, Mr. Cohen! Not another reality show! Please!!! We beg of you! What do you want?! Do you want a kitten? I can get you a kitten!

  4. Please stop this shit. No one cares. And for those who do: get a life.

  5. Does Andy produce the Bachelorette?

  6. Andy Cohen has nothing to do with her...she's on ABC's "The Bachelorette." And no, I don't watch...too contrived.

  7. Oh.

Reality shows all look the same to me. So the Kuntrashians are on the Real Housewives of Hell, right?

  8. How about a reality show documenting Emily trying to conform to a Mormon lifestyle? Show her cleaning toilets at the church because it is her calling. Show The Mormon mommies refusing to let their kids stay over at Rickies house until Emily converts. Show Emily getting married in the temple (with her family not allowed to attend because they aren't Mormon).

Yeah, never mind. She is a bachelorette, so the wedding won't actually happen.

  9. I hate to say it but she seems kind of fake to me. She's one of those girls who seems so super sweet on the outside but you know would be a mean girl if she could. At least that the way she comes across.

Yes I watch that horrid show. It's like a train wreck. I just can't help myself.

  11. She was a really good Bachorlette I thought. She was funny, smart and self deprecating. Yes, a wee bit spoiled and vain, but she's had quite the life with her daughter and herself being pampered. I liked her run on the show. There have been so many more vapid idiots on before her, she was refreshing.

  13. I've recently banned all reality shows from my life ever since I discovered The LA Complex, the best show on TV that no one knows exists. It made me realize how long I've been watching nothing but reality crap made on a shoestring budget with zero talent when there are too many shows with talented writers, actors, etc. that deserve to be seen instead.

  14. @stigs, I LOVE the LA complex! Wish they had made more episodes for the first season.

Emily is a very sweet, smart girl. Most of the gossip is wrong. I don't know her personally (only met her once) but she and I share a few mutual friends and they have good things to say about her.

  15. @RenoBlondee ITA re: Emily. She was a breath of fresh air on an increasingly stale show.

  16. Pre 'Blow Up', one of the 'Himmmm's [who had East Coast ERT experience] posted about this woman. And it wasn't a favorable reference to her.

I have a hard time getting past her liberal use of a shrill and nasal 'ThenkYow' as she blithely passes through life.
