Friday today so announcement day. Tomorrow will be a reveal on the site. Last weekend I had three reveals but I think this weekend will just be one. A traditional Four For Friday today because I have a lot of quicker ones that I have been dying to share.
#1 - This former American Idol alum who actually is well known has other plans since her records have not been selling well. She is dying to be in Playboy and wants to make the transition from singer to host and thinks being naked in Playboy is the way to make that happen. Why is everyone's first thought to get naked? If you need a hint, she has fake breasts.
#2 - This top female tennis player is scrapping her marriage plans after she caught her celebrity boyfriend cheating.
#3 & #4 - What A list celebrity bff female couple reunited recently but won't be doing it again. It has been forever since they spoke or went out prior to this because one of the women got drunk and made out with the significant other of the other woman.

ReplyDeleteLisa is very smart and cerebral, so I suspect that's why she wasn't as close to Jennifer and Courteney. Not that they're stupid...just that she's kind of an intellectual, and I don't think that they would even say that they are. Plus, she married and settled down young, while Jennifer and Courteney were still single and going out on the town together and such. And of course, they both married but stayed tight. I don't think there's bad blood between them and Lisa, just not a lot in common.
@Tomorrow, I hadn't figured it out but I am a simple idiot. I also don't care about sports and the players, but mostly it's just that I am idiot.

ReplyDeleteBTW -- Someone specifically pointed this out years ago (sorry, I can't recal your name) and then recently as well, but I did find it odd that Enty had Sharapova in yesterday's ESPY photos. Of all the hot chicks there, many of them in acting, it kinda stuck out. Besides her, he had Vonn and Patrick. So only 2 athletes out of six photos at an event celebrating sports (I don't count Patrick as an athlete 'cause, seriously, I've been witness to a drunk with one eye drive better than her. On a riding mower no less). I'm starting to buy into the theory that the photo-answer to blinds is in previous Random Photos as opposed to that day or the day after.

Why would they all sit down and have dinner together if one was still upset because the pal made out with her man? I could see if they just went alone or w/ a group of girlfriends, but to bring the guy along to see the backstabbing friend? He cheated, too. It would be so awkward! And neither of them seem to need or want the publicity... Hm. I just don't know about this one.

ReplyDelete#2- Tennis is very much my thing and I can't come up with a definitive answer. Like others said, Serena and Common broke up ages ago, and never had any public marriage plans to speak of. I forgot about Woz and Rory til someone else brought them up- considering he was cheating on his long-term GF when he first hooked up with her, she probably shouldn't be shocked to find out he's cheating on HER, LOL. But I don't think enough people have heard of her, esp. in the US, for her to be the answer to a blind. But there's just not that many top female tennis players dating celebrities. Maria Sharapova is probably the answer Enty's going for here, since even people who don't follow tennis know who she is. But I don't buy it- rumor on the WTA has always been that Sasha's more of whatever the male equivalent of a beard is than the love of her life.
#3- I'll go with Katy Perry and Riahnna, just because they both seem like the types to make out with their BFFs BFs, probably while drunk or high.
@Moose- I thought Ana and Adam Scott had been split since like April? Though I suppose that's recent enough they could be the answer. Still, I think neither of them is well-known enough outside their respective sports to be featured here on CDAN.

Anna Ivanovic is not a top female player at the moment.It's says top, not former and she's barely top 20. Maria Sharapova was supposed to marry her boyfriend this year and he's plays pro basketball so not only was she engaged, she had a wedding date picked and a wedding planned.

Anna K. WAS a pretty good player, and she did win Grand Slam titles in doubles and even reached #1 in doubles. But she NEVER won a single tournament as a singles player, Grand Slam or otherwise. It was the defining statistic of her career. I think that she was talented enough that she probably would have eventually had her career followed a normal arc. But as she became more and more famous for her looks, she discovered that being a "celebrity" was a lot more fun than being a top tennis player, and it was to that end that she began to devote her time and energy. Tennis became something she dabbled in between photo shoots, not the single-minded obsession it was for other top players. Her results and ranking suffered, and any time she'd actually try to keep up the same grueling schedule the other players did at the Grand Slams, she'd end up injured because her body just wasn't used to it anymore.
