Katie Holmes Fired Bella From Clothing Line

There is a new story out in the Hollywood Reporter which says that Katie Holmes fired Bella Cruise from Katie's clothing line. Umm, does Katie Holmes really have a fashion line? I know there have been articles that say she does and I know I'm just an ignorant guy but has anyone actually ever seen anyone wear or see anything Katie has produced for sale anywhere? Does she have employees? Who pays them? To me, this sounds like something Scientology threw out there to show Katie is evil and fired her own stepdaughter from a company. I'm not sure it is a good idea to have employees who get paid for not working for as non existent company. Bella got paid to be a nanny and to be a minder for Katie and to make sure Suri never wavered from Scientology throughout the day. How many phone calls a day do you think Katie gets from Scientology people?

  1. If that's the worst that Co$ has, I'm looking forward to the rest of the week.

  2. oh how dare she! what kind of woman fires her step-daughter from a bullshit job?!?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Meh. I read yesterday (probably the New York papers) that she has a few projects lined up, and will in fact show her line at Fashion Week New York. I guess that remains to be seen.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh, and along with firing Bella, while cleaning house in anticipation of her legal filing, she also got rid of all her CO$security, aides. New cell phones too.

Smart moves any way you slice it.

  5. The news (which is always behind) is saying Tom and Katie have called a truce, that Tom is agreeing to Suri being raised Catholic and will have visitation rights, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Katie is planning her first-ever show at New York's Fashion Week in the fall for her clothing line, Holmes & Yang.

  7. OT - guys could you help me out? I seem to recall Enty having a blind reveal about Kenbeth Branagh but I can't find it. Does anyone remember it/ have the link? It was a while ago I think.

    Thanks!

  8. If I've learned one thing from reality t.v., it's that everyone has a line.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh, weird. TMZ is still saying there will be no settlement without Suri, and that Tom must have "meaningful, significant contact".

If he has "meaningful, significant contact," doesn't have violate the rules of Scientology? Also, if in fact he is gay, does that not also violate the rules?

Or is it kind of like being Catholic where you just give them some money and say you're sorry and you're totally cool for the next week? (Relax - I'm half joking)

    ReplyDelete
  10. I was thinking the same thing about her fashion line yesterday. Like I hear about it, know about it, assume that it's a real thing, but without any physical evidence to support that belief.
I know it's called Holmes & Yang, but I have never seen any pieces or heard of anyone wearing it besides Katie.

    ReplyDelete
  11. The only thing I've seen from her clothing line is a suit that Tom wore to one of the Rock of Ages premieres. He made a big point of saying how Katie wasn't able to be there, but his suit was from her line.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Aside from all the BS, the truth is that Tom Cruise has been Suri's father (DNA irrelevant) probably much more than he was with his other kids and I'm sure he loves her very much.

While Katie wants sole custody to protect Suri from the CoS, I do expect Tom to have some visitation once the details are ironed out.

    ReplyDelete
  13. If it's true - that's pretty cold. Divorce is always the hardest on the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I've seen her clothing line in some stores in LA. The stuff I saw were a couple of blazers thar were nice but kinda meh for the $

  15. I wish we could have an ultimate celebrity edition of Maury..with Tom and Katie, bring out MJ's kids and January's son. It would be a great show.

  16. And heeeeere's Steppy with the CO$ defense.

    ReplyDelete
  17. lol @ figgy..no Co$ post is complete without it!

  18. OMG, Bella looks like my old boss Mrs Williams. My boss was in her 50s when she looked like Bella! Homely child.....I feel bad saying that. Anywho.....not nice being sacked by your own stepmother but Steppy didn’t have much choise. She’s systematically erasing all the SceIno out of her life. Respect from me.

She probably has 2 cell phones. One, is always off because CoS is always calling, and the other is in the name of one of her friends and she only gives it out to a FEW trusted people.

It's like the guys with 2 cell phones...one for the family and best friends (and long term girlfriend) while the other is for the casual friends/friends with benefits.

    ReplyDelete
  20. lol @ figgy - what a stupid comment.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Auditing is hard on kids too...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maybe nobody has seen Katie's line because Bella wasn't doing her job so Katie fired her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Katie's line has probably been in the development stages, and is planing on NY Fashion Week to mark it's official debut.

I'm thinking Bella was axed as part of Katie's desire to make a clean break with Co$.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I predict Tom will agree for Katie to have sole custody if CO$ is granted soul custody.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Angel-
That's probably true (clean break), but still, it's pretty hard on the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  26. A quick google tells me that Holmes and Yang is available at Barney's in the U.S. which would explain why I have no knowledge of it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. There is no way Katie could have kept Bella "working" for her regardless. What's the point of getting a new apartment, firing the security guards and replacing phones if the direct line to Cruise is standing right there looking at you?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Don't worry, Steppy...they'll audit the trauma right out of the Bella, and she'll forget Katie was ever her stepmom. Just ask Nicole. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Fun fact: a friend of mine saw Katie and Tom together in Iceland less than a week before she filed for divorce. Kind of supports the idea that she blindsided him with this.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I doubt she's getting any calls from CO$. According to reports, she changed her cell number and email address (with her dad's help) while she was in China and ditched all of her old stuff as soon as she filed.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Of course she fired Bella. Bella only got the job because she was Tom's daughter, and her loyalties are to him, not Katie. What person preparing for battle would keep someone in her camp whose loyalties are to her enemy?!

If this is what the CO$ has to fight with, then Katie is going to come out looking saintly. What a joke of a charge.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think Katie should teach Suri to say bad things about Scientology so she'll be labeled an SP and Tom will cut her out of his life forever. It's either that, or she can look forward to being locked in a cockroach infested room at sea org for years on end, doing menial labor for little pay while being indoctrinated and fed nothing but barely water, and maybe getting molested by the OTVIII's.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Steppy, I can only imagine how difficult divorce would be on a child. It must only be slightly easier than having a parent or loved one declared a SP and having no further contact with them.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lol, cornbread. To be fair, Nicole is apparently a sociopath. ;)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  38. The article says that the source who said that Katie fired the stepdaughter is a Scientology source...I'd say it's one of their ways to trash her in the media and make her look like a bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  39. anybody can see what a fantastic sense of style that bella has. Oh sorry, that was my e-meter talking.

funny, according to Bella she is an "artist" (artist of what who knows) living in downtown LA with her thetan boyfriend. And never once mentioned working for a fashion line in her interview.

Gotta hand it to the CO$ team, if you throw enough shit against the wall something has to stick.

Oh, and Celebtichy has reported that Scientologists are trolling their site trying to get negative Tammy comments removed. They are fight back, good for them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The clothing line is actually well received and not some pretend project like Lilo's line. She and Isabella have been on the outs for about 2 years, and she interned for Katie's partner on the line, not actually for Holmes & Yang. Just another story that goes to show if you spin a story you can sell anything you want to people.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Came to say what @timebob already said - Celebitchy is dealing with the CO$. I applaud how they are writing about it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous9:07 AM

Not sure about her firing Isabella, but now there's a story that Katie wrote a screen play called "Molly" and she's going to be staring in it. Almost every gossip site has run with that story. It's supposedly the story of a single mom and her daughter, and it starts shooting in August. I think Scientology put that out to make people think Katie left Tom to get attention for this movie. I checked Katie Holmes IMDB and there is no such movie listed. And they start shooting in less than a month?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's because you don't have IMDB pro AND not every single project is actually listed on IMDB. If you want accuracy and the most recent credits of upcoming projects you have to use professional pay sites like Studio Sustem.

Also, publicists rarely drum up press for a project 6-8 weeks prior to filming. They generally save that for 6-8 weeks prior to release. It's a bit more effective that way.

  47. Here's something interesting. TMZ just posted the following on their site - a joint statement from the two of them.

The statement reads, "We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests."

"We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents."

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yes, isn't Isabella firmly in CO$? I'd distance myself away from her too.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'd fire her ass!

    ReplyDelete
  50. ". . . to each of our respective beliefs. . ."

    Wow, that speaks volumes.

That had to have killed Tom to agree to that.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Guess what? Now both TMZ and the NY Post are saying that an agreement has been reached and signed. That was fast.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Maybe if CoS tries to force Tom Cruise to give up Suri he'll finally awake from his robot state and leave. I do believe they both just wanted the best for the child and handled it pretty nicely. Even if it was all planned out 5 years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  53. If they've settled already, Tom caved.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Poor Bella. This goes in my column of 'Adoption nightmares, even to to wealthy divorced celebrity COS parents'.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Tom will do anything to salvage his career and CO$ he may of lost the battle but control freaks don't just stop losing control. He is in it for the war, once people move on to the next big story they will be pressuring Suri into a slow Scientology mind bath. Suri is only six and they have years, the money and the craziness to slowly indoctrinate her without Katie's consent or knowledge. Tommy doesn't like to lose and Miscavage will do anything to keep him in the fold.

Even Nicole got to see her kids at first then slowly she lost access to them.

    ReplyDelete
  56. MSNBC has also reported a settlement, to it must be true.

Tom's legal team almost literally could not have drafted a settlement agreement this fast, so the terms must have been dictated by Katie's lawyers. Wow. Settling is one thing. Settling this fast makes it look like Tom was really afraid of what would have come out in court.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I have no idea what an "SP" is, so I really have no idea if a parent labeled an SP would be more damaging to child than a divorce.
From the context above, it's sounds a little like excommunication (although that is not permanent and Catholics are still expected to attend mass).
So, if that would be a reasonable comparison, I think that a divorce would be more harmful to children.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I wonder what Katie wanted- and got... Heading over to support celebitchy

    ReplyDelete
  59. They probably settled on the terms that they had already negotiated during the separation. Katie only filed hardball because Tom was dragging his feet on actually going through with the divorce.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Goes to show you that this wasn't about money and all about Suri as far as Katie was concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @whocaresnow12
I don't think money was ever a concern for Tom or Katie, both seemed most concerned about their child. And not prolonging the media frenzy. I'm glad they could work it out, maybe now they can move on.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Many people were under the illusion it was all about money for Katie, which was absurd.

      Delete
  62. @Steppy a SP is "suppressed person" that person is considered harmful and negative. If the "church" labels you an SP than you are disconnected from any scientology member. This is how families are broken up in COS. It is incredibly harmful. Nicole Kidman was labeled an SP and Bella & Connor stopped speaking to her. Bella claims she does now, but I haven't heard Nicole confirm this. The COS has no problem with lying to the media. Then turn around and say everyone agains the church lies about them.

If Katie is (or when) labeled an SP Tom will no longer speak to her, if Suri becomes a Scientologist then Suri will not longer have any contact with her.

Oh and Parents disconnect from children who leave the church also. You can become an SP for the slightest of reasons. It is emotional witch burning. So I would take a divorce and save my child than risk staying being an SP and losing contact forever.

    1. Tom is prohibited from taking Suri around anything COS related and Katie's own security team and. Nanny must be with Suri at all times when she's with Tom for visits. She will never be apart of COS unless she chooses to be as an adult.

      Delete
  63. @whocaresnow12, thank you for the updates. I didn't doubt that Suri was Katie's priority in all of this. The way she filed and where spoke volumes in that regard. I do think she probably receive a generous settlement from Tom too since he knows it will all be Suri's eventually anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Re: quick settlement
there is a blind on another site that is most likely about Tom and Katie that says he is settling because he doesn't want info about his relationship with three very famous men to go public.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I have a feeling we'll be seeing her fashion line everywhere by fall. She did Project Runway, the line is being shown at fashion week in NY, and she's doing fashion covers/interviews. Soon "team katie" celebs will wear the stuff and talk about it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Denise, I couldn't help think that Katie may have some crazy receipts in light of being able to pull this off in such short order. Tom learned you don't mess with a caring mother's maternal instincts, Scientology be damned.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @timebob - thanks for the info.
While that SP stuff may seem strange to me, who am I to judge another's religious beliefs? (As a good Catholic, I will pray for their souls:) )
But, I do not have to agree with others religious beliefs to appreciate the work they do. Tom Cruise is a great actor and I enjoy his work. I had a dentist that I loved (my family's dentist for 40+ yrs). It was only after he died that I even found out he was Jewish. I guess I don't pay much attention to that stuff. He was an excellent dentist and a great man. Who cares that he didn't eat bacon!!

  68. "Tom is prohibited from taking Suri around anything COS related and Katie's own security team and. Nanny must be with Suri at all times when she's with Tom for visits. She will never be apart of COS unless she chooses to be as an adult."

And you know the exact terms how?

I doubt that Tom has agreed to supervised visits indefinitely.

How would Katie have obtained useful proof that Tom was on the down low with three celebrity guys?

    ReplyDelete
  69. @B. Profane, 5 1/2 years gave her ample opportunity to do a lot of things, especially if she's been planning for awhile. Just sayin'..

Re: the supervised visits, good question. I can't find anything about that available yet.

    ReplyDelete
  70. B.profane...how would I know?

    But I agree with Angel.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hmmmm, Steppy says s/he's catholic, so It must be true. :-/

B.Profane - Maybe Tom got lax and comfortable around Katie and gave her the opportunity to gather some intel on him. She must have been planning this for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Mango, I read that Katie's father, who is also an attorney, has been guiding her to prepare for this for awhile now. There are very small cameras and nanny cams available that can be discreetly hidden just about anywhere. I think it's entirely possible that Katie collected a treasure trove of evidence with Tom none the wiser.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Why would you question/comment on my religion? Does that make it harder for you to ridicule and dismiss my views? That's kind of a pansy ass attitude.
Why in the heck would someone claim to be a different religion? I could see if it was 1942 and I was Jewish, but why in the world would I, in 2012 in the United States of America, have any reason to lie???
    Grow up.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @B. Profane- it was reported this morning regarding the terms of visitation. Just because it's not on CDAN doesn't mean it's not being reported. Pick a site: TMZ, Jezebel, Radar, I think it was also on MSNBC, but I can't recall.

    ReplyDelete
  75. OK, I didn't see anything about terms in the reports I'd seen. If the articles you site are accurate, it's very surprising that Tom's camp would have let them go public. His counsel should have been able to get an enforceable gag order on the terms of the settlement agreement.

    ReplyDelete

    1. There was nothing about the terms of the divorce setlement, just the custody agreement.

  76. Steppy, it's ok to judge. Scientology is a cult not a religion, so feel free.

Scientology is not a religion in most countries.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_status_by_country

You would think the IRS, of all people, would know just what type of organization they are given how they were infiltrated by undercover scientologists. The cult used wiretapping and stole documents from the government that made them look bad.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Snow_White

Timebob gave a great explanation of what the cult calls a 'SP'. I would be false and disrespectful to compare it to your religion's excommunication process.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I am the product of divorce but still got to see my father when he so chose to do so, which was never. My mother never said one bad word about him.

CO$ doesn't do that. The divorce still exists but the other parent doesn't at all and they disappear in a very nefarious way, children being told that they are evil and not who they thought they were and "they never really loved you". Yeah,I'd say that is much, much harder.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I think we need to stop feeding the Scientology trolls.

    ReplyDelete
  79. "There was nothing about the terms of the divorce setlement, just the custody agreement."

Yeah, but that's the stuff that Tom would most want kept confidential. He might have agreed to a prohibition on exposing Suri to COS, but I'm sure he didn't want that to become public knowledge.

I think I'll wait for more corroboration of the terms.

    ReplyDelete
  80. "mynerva said...
I think we need to stop feeding the Scientology trolls."

What the heck does that mean???

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Steppy - there's an article over on another site about how scientologists have been instructed to look for articles on the divorce and try to have them moderated by Microsoft. I assume the more an article is commented on the higher it trends, but I may be wrong.

My point was merely that by commenting on this so much are we risking Enty getting in bother? I'm really ignorant about how this moderating stuff works so I may have this wrong.

The more I'm reading about these people the more and more they bother me. It seems like they will go to any lengths to achieve their goals. Frightening.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @B. Profane, you might have already seen this, but here's the latest details from TMZ:

TMZ has learned, the divorce settlement between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is extremely complicated, outlining things both Tom and Katie can and cannot do with Suri.

    Here's what we know.

-- Katie will have what amounts to primary physical custody, but Tom has significant custodial time with his daughter.

-- A report claiming that Suri must be in the presence of Katie's bodyguard and nanny when she is around Tom is "absolutely, 100% false."

-- The custodial provisions of the agreement are extremely detailed, and religion is one of the topics. We're told there are restrictions on what Tom and Katie can discuss with Suri on the subject of religion, including Scientology, however, those restrictions are eased the older Suri gets.

In short, we're told the agreement is extremely detailed and outlines a course of conduct for years to come.

  83. @mynerva

Perhaps I've made the assumption that your comment was made in the same vein as many regular posters on this site. If that is the case, I apologize.

Many posters on this site make asinine assumptions about anyone that disagrees with them, then make awful, offensive, comments, based on their initial baseless assumptions. I find it ridiculous.

Again, I apologize if I jumped to conclusions.

    ReplyDelete
  84. mynerva, Enty has been reporting the horrible truth about scientology for a long time so I assume he knows what he is in for. If he was going to be in trouble or stalked on the internet, it most likely started a long time ago.

    ReplyDelete
  87. @angel--Thank you very much. I'll trot over to the site and read up. Interesting. Anything that complicated must have been negotiated well before Katie filed, supporting my speculation that Katie filed to force Tom's hand.

I love your happy, sunshine thoughts about the people that regularly post on this site. Honestly, I wish I agreed with you!
Unfortunately, from what I have seen, many of the regular posters are arrogant, presumptuous, mean-spirited and incredibly quick to judge and assume the worst about everyone. On the plus side, they seem to form a happy little "Mean Girls" clique :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. No, Steppy, we just know that you're a COS shill. Anyway, Tom & Katie are divorcing quietly, so you can report back to your puppet masters that you've done your job, then fuck off and get lost.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The Noscis are not trolls, they're propagandists.

The difference being that they are trying to influence through doubt, not cause a flame war (troll).

They are trying to keep people believing that they are a religion, and not a coercive totalitarian business hiding under an IRS ruling.

My aunt was excommunicated from the Catholic church (for marrying a divorced man), but she could attend mass and hang out with all her C friends and relatives. And, once he died, all was forgiven, so she could have communion again (weird, huh)

When one is excommunicated from the CONnoSci, no one, not children, parents, relatives, or friends are ever allowed to communicate with one again. If they do communicate, they are abused by some means or other-- financial, emotional, or physical.

It is evil to children. Check the links out of Ortega's Village Voice articles. There's a new one in todays edition which has an interview with an ex-Nosci who talks about her experiences in the cult.

  104. Am in awe of Katie's father, he's rated AV by Martindale-Hubble, and the legal team he's put together.

If this has indeed been settled, he and the team built a brick **ithouse of a case, both defensively and offensively. And i have a lot more respect for Katie/notKATE for hanging in there during what must have been a soul-killing time because of her love for Suri.

You are one of the kind ones and I appreciate it. And you are probably right, the mean ones are probably in the minority. But I am far from the only one treated poorly. It seems that anyone that posts, saying that maybe the celebrity being crucified is not Satan on earth, they are criticized and told to f-off. It's not true that I only post on Cruise/scientology items. I admit I have a soft spot for Cruise (I've watched him forever), but I do read more articles/comments than I post on. I commented about John Edwards and Wahlberg earlier. I have no idea what religion Edwards is and Wahlberg is Roman Catholic. I tend to only post when I feel people are being unnecessarily bashed (like Edwards today).

  110. Rose - why do I come here? Honestly, it's a ridiculously entertaining time waster...I get bored at work a lot!
