Random Photos Part One

Three parts today.

It's pregnancy update time. Here are Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green. BAG's bump looks bigger than Megan's bump.
Meanwhile, Nick and Vanessa show off Vanessa's bump.
Penelope Cruz does her best to hide her new bump.
Not pregnant in real life, but Amy Poehler plays someone pregnant in her new movie. Or is it the other way around. Either way, she is in it with Paul Rudd.
Racehl Weisz is not pregnant, but I think she welcomes the chance to practice making babies with Daniel Craig. Here she is in Marie Claire.
Sheryl Crow, takes her kids to Disneyland.
See, the Snooki photo was supposed to come before Sheryl, and I was going to do this whole kissing then comes the baby carriage thing. Ruined now.
Finally, someone who is not pregnant. Although, for their next movie...
Sofia Coppola just shows up at these random screenings and red carpet events. I do love her though.

  1. I think Megan & Vanessa are going to very surprised by the lack of interest in their babies...

  2. Vanessa looks really happy and healthy.
I always thought Rachel Weisz was so beautiful way back to The Mummy. She still is.

  3. Holy cow, Rachel is such a beauty. That hot pink skirt is to die for on her.

Oh, Will Farrell, how I love thee! You are my very fave :-).

Oh, and Vanessa and Nick look so happy - and that's a real preggo belly, folks. When you have your first, you can't believe how big you get in the end!

  4. Vanessa is a beautiful pregnant woman.
    *cough* Jessica *cough*

  5. Vanessa!!! Aggh! That is the reason I can't have babies. The belly just freaks me out.

Maybe I'm not a real girl. This just horrifies me. I can't do it...

  6. dia papaya - I am TERRIFIED of pregnancy. I'm not so much worried about the kid that comes after; it's the concept of what happens to your body that freaks me out, like a little alien.

    1. I called mine parasites for both pregnancies.
      I got a few side-eyes for that.

    Vanessa looks beautiful, and
Thanks for the yummy Paul Rudd.

  8. Amber and Dia, that doesn't bother me as much as the bullshit you have to do after you give birth. I was listening to people talk about the crazy things they had to do to get their babies to sleep. Fucking nightmare fuel.

Give me a cat any day.

I have no clue how to decipher that.

I'm with you, dia papaya. I hatehateHATE to seem evil and NOT say that a pregnant woman's belly is beautiful, but...I just don't think it is. It looks creepy to me. I'm sorry to all the mamas and pregnant ladies. I truly am. With clothing, the belly is darling and not really creepy. But exposed? I just...*shudders*

  10. Vicki, haha, yes!

I think at some point one cannot call a pregnant belly a 'bump' any longer when it's more like a full-blown boulder. Exhibit A: Vanessa's belly. :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. Vicki, I say this all the time, but why can't I just go to Target and pick up a baby? You can get everything else there.

  12. I know I've talked about helping others get preggo and treating them while they are preggo. That is fine! Just not in me. Some people are meant to be fabulous Aunties!

  13. I find the whole concept of pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing to be absolutely terrifying for all reasons listed above.

I'm also (almost) 36 so pretty sure I'm going to stick with my baby-free plans. :)

Gestating and giving birth are not nearly as terrifying as what you go through with them once they're here.

I hate the term "baby bump". Always have.

  15. Vanessa just needs to stop being so damn gorgeous. She's giving me a complex. She and Nick look so happy.
Rachel Weisz is so beautiful. Sigh...I can't imagine her having to compete with Rooney Mara for any man's attention. I am just not a fan of the Mara sisters.
I am, however, a huge Amy Poehler fan. I always imagine her as the flatulent one-legged chic on SNL no matter what she's doing. It makes everything that much funnier.

  16. @syko - That's exactly what my mom always said! It's the after that's the hard part.

  17. @O'Really - "Yeah, I FARTED! Jealous?!"

The worst part of pregnancy is that your belly apparently becomes public domain. Perfect strangers think they can touch and even rub the belly. My husband's family is very touchy feely, I'm not. It took me awhile to except that they were going to touch the baby, but when perfect strangers want to I just wanted to back hand them.

  19. What's even weirder than having that huge belly at the end of pregnancy is when you can see MOVEMENT in there! AGH! And then the thoughts of "how are you going to get out, noooooooo!"

    ReplyDelete
  20. msgirl - when my mom was pregnant with me, my dad had a friend over and he could see her stomach moving. It creeped him out so bad he felt sick and had to go outside! LOL

  21. Msgirl: It's like Alien waiting to happen!!

  22. Ladies, go with your gut (ha! Pun time ) on the baby debate. Follow your bliss. You aren't less of a woman without babies.

I just always knew being a mom was my destiny. And yeah, being pregnant is a cakewalk compared to caring for a newborn. But what I get back from my kids is 1000 times greater than what I've given them.

But don't let anyone tell you parenting is easy, cause that person is just a dirty liar! Parenting tests your head, and your mind, and your brain (thank you Jack Black in School of Rock).

  23. @Frufra - You always say the wisest things. Thanks for being you!

PS - I am the oldest of four and did too much child rearing between 10 - 18. Years I should have been a wild child but got to change diapers instead. I do love babies! Just know how hard it is too.

    1. @dia - thanks, and I hear you - taking care of siblings probably filled your baby quota for a while. Not what a kid dreams of doing @ that age.

  24. I just had my first cup of real coffee in months, so maybe I'm hallucinating...Does Snooki actually look good?

  25. OMG Rachel Weisz looks so stunning! I was thinking it's sad it was just a photo shoot and not a red carpet event. I wonder if celebs ever schedule black tie events after they know they have to get all dolled up anyways. Oh or maybe a photo shoot leaves you tired and all you want is your millennium edition Juicy sweats?
I hate pregnant belly buttons. This girl in my class always wears the tightest shirts that don't help and then her giant outtie belly button is the focal point. I've never been pregnant but I did gain weight fast and I wish someone told me to use cocoa/shea/whatever butter to help my skin as it stretched. I'm covered in stretch marks and now that I got my size back, I still can't wear a bikini bc I'm like a zebra. Omg does anyone know where to get a cheap bathing suit bc I'll wear it for a week and then stash it away for a long time? I'm going crazy looking.

  26. Snooki has had her lips done? Is that what's happening?

I agree with being terrified of pregnancy. As Dr Spaceman says, "Everything about this is disgusting." did you know babies are covered in fur, shed the fur and poo it out ALL WHILE THEY'RE INSIDE YOU?!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I missed a step, they eat the fur THEN poop it out. Blehhhhh

  28. In other pregnancy news, 80% of the Duprees in the indie band Eisley are now confirmed with child or wife with child in the drummer's case. 3 sisters and a brother will all have their 1st child within a few months of each other. How cute is that? Spouse/fathers include Max Bemis of Say Anything and Darron King of Mutemath. Stacy, Chantelle and Sherry Dupree and Weston Dupree's wife remaking Knocked Up. I love Eisley.

This CLEARLY states Amy P is screwing Paul Rudd. No?

    ReplyDelete
  30. yes, THIS STATES it doesn't matter if she is pregnant in real life, or in the movie..both places it would be with Paul Rudd...

  31. Maybe I'm a little tipsy (hey it's happy hour in Philly) but Amy Poehler looks like Kirsten Dunst to me.

Is that a good thing? Not sure.

  32. @katsm0711. Have you tried a tankini? Sexy and fun

  33. The human body is definitely an amazing thing :) I loved being preggers once the all day sickness wore off lol, well I only got to 9 months 2 out of 3, my son was born at 27 weeks so my last pregnancy I definitely appreciated, I'm coming to terms with my 3 yr old most likely is my last, I'm ok I just love having and looking after kids and each time I get an urge for another I just have to remind myself I can't, its too much, will I always feel sad about it I guess I'm asking anyone

  34. Vicki, I'm with you 100%, give me a cat any day. You *never* have to bribe\benadryl\etc a kitty to go to sleep! ;)
Btw, hope you are feeling better!

Vanessa is beautiful, good grief. I love how happy her & Nick are together.

Rachel. Stunning. Would LOVE to have beautiful dark hair like that. Sigh.

I adore Amy & Paul, but please tell me they are not hooking up? Noooooo!

  35. I wonder if Will Farrell got the idea for this new film from that hilarious "Boss-eyed" episode of the I.T. Crowd?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jessie, I've never heard of such a thing.

That's what I got of the Amy P/Paul Rudd comment.

  37. Ha! As hard and awful as my pregnancy was, I MISS being pregnant. I miss so much about it even though it was the most exhaustive thing I've ever done. Babies are hard, yo. But a good partner makes a world of difference, even if it's a best friend or your mother. We don't plan on another - for financial and physical reasons. And I wonder every day if it's the right decision. We'd only have a few years left of trying naturally if we planned to do it, but we're going to give our lil man the best life we can.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @yawnathon
Yo yo yo, i am watching Breaking Bad with the man right now. Whoa
ALSO - have another! Little man needs a buddy :)

  39. Katsm0711, try old navy or target for a mix and match tankini, easier than a two piece and cheaper and more comfortable than a one piece.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So, am I the only one who thinks Nick looks like he'd rather be anywhere else?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sign me up on the "no babies" list as well! Kids are great and all, but I love sleeping in and doing whatever I want to do when I want to do it far too much for that big a commitment... and pregnancy freaks me out as well. No offense, just my opinion.
